My meaningless existence can now end.

Honestly, nuff said. Gang Tae's smile at the end changed my whole life. I've lived a good life, it can now end whenever.(Note to self, and whoever is reading: If you ever feel trapped in life, don't forget Gang Tae's smile. That look of utter joy and freedom. This was the first time I really saw it, this was a huge development for his character. Don't give up on being happy in life. You too can look like that if you free yourself from the chains you place on yourself. Don't wait for someone else to do it. Break your own leash.)

contains spoilers

For the first time in show, you can see both of them smile and it’s not empty smile. It’s very joyful and filled with warm kind of smile. The way Ko wants him to compliment her is almost like how as kids we crave that from our caregiver and want to feel appreciated for what we have done. She knows she accomplished something, and she wants someone else also to be proud of that. She is trying to heal her childhood wounds slowly through him. She is healing slowly and can see that with her being little lighter and smiling genuinely compared to before. Gang is also slowly letting his guard down around her and able to smile more. Yay to healing!! Why do I get weird feeling from that head nurse? Why does banter between Ko and Sang feels like how siblings fight haha. Oooo I am curious about this patient now. Is she the mother? Ah!! Too many suspects. The emotions displayed by Gang when they eat at the Chinese restaurant where they used to eat as kids is amazing! That tears and smile conveyed so much. Oh my god!! The umbrella scene is the best till now. Yay!! She noticed Gang is getting wet and goes to take care of him. Healing in progress. It’s hilarious that she had her eyes fixated on the pen and she was doing everything to get the pen but oh my goodness…. Gang being jealous is so healing! He has never been able to think about his feeling and this is the first time he is able to be in-touch with his feelings. Healing in progresssssssss! Best part about the love story between the patient (even though it was against the rules) was consent! He asked for consent before giving her a kiss. Even though Sang is older than them, after seeing Gang and Ko together, he was feeling may be jealous/separation anxiety/fear of abandonment? The minute he say the Mang doll, he couldn’t control his feeling and nor could she, as the doll was the first time someone gave something to her to make her feel better. But the fight between Ko and Sang was like sibling fight. Ah! The smile on his face when he got suspended. I am sure he left like a huge burden was lifted off his chest. He was never able to express everything he feels and this was the first time he could and that smile conveyed so many emotions!

Deep love

I've never seen a drama quite like this one. The acting is amazing. You watch the characters fall deeply in love with each other. This episode he totally fell off the deep end. Beautiful!

Kang Tae is finally free.

After the cryfest in the previous episode, I'm really glad this one is lighter. I'm glad the writers are keeping a good balance between drama and comedy. We are finally getting the romance too. There were a lot of funny moments in this episode but my personal favorite is when Jae Su shaved the manager's beard. Lol. I also love how Moon Young and Kang Tae kept smiling at each other a lot. Their walls are both slowly coming down. I really appreciate how this drama is taking the time to build their relationship. I don't want it to feel rushed because considering their issues, it wouldn't be realistic. This is just the right pace. But my favorite part in this whole episode is the ending. Kang Tae finally exploded but instead of being sad and regretting it, he was happy. It's like he was finally free. Seeing him smiling while running out just made me smile so much too. I can totally feel his joy. I felt genuinely happy for him. Again, I am amazed at how Kim Soo Hyun affects me with his acting. I can't wait for the next episode. It will be a long and torturous wait.

It just gets better and better

The fact that every episode is better than the last is making me real worried about how they're going to be able to keep it up until the 16th, and I really hope I don't have a heart attack watching it til then
