I got so angry that Jojo end up with HyeYoung
And Yukjo end up with Sunoh
I recommend you guys dont watch it if you're Team sunoh

Messy but enjoyable.

In all honesty, the first season was definitely much better than this season. Season 2 was annoyingly full of wallowing, and miscommunication. Everything would've been sorted IF THEY JUST TALKED. Nothing was being said, Jojo was still indecisive and confused, and couldn't get a word out without being interrupted. smh nothing has really changed for her since the first season.

I don't really get what warrants this drama to receive its excessively low ratings - perhaps people didn't like the fact that Son-Oh didn't get the girl? I'm glad he didn't. I read a lot of reviews before writing mine, and seems like i'm in the minority in liking who she ended up with. It was REALLY evident who she loved from the very beginning. We can see how JJ looked at Hye young, the way she missed him and the way she always thought of him whenever anything happened etc- THE SIGNS WERE ALL THERE. Seeing Jojo come to realisation with this was quite satisfying and godamn was I really happy. HY is a total angel from beginning till end.

Ok now Sun Oh, I can't be the only one that found him slightly annoying right? People saying Jojo played with his feelings and strung him along. No, not really imo, she broke up with him 4 years ago. He latched onto this girl for 4 years, demanding an explanation at every chance he would get, whilst stringing ANOTHER girl along. like COME ONNN. I admit he deserved an explanation, (again, lack of communication) but being pushy and rude for 4 years, just coz you're bitter you didn't get jojo?? Poor boy was crying and wallowing for jojo for 4 years straight until the last 10 mins where he's suddenly ok - lol the writers did him dirty.

i know many people really wanted SO to end up with JJ, but i don't think that should be the reason why this season is so disliked. I admit, it was slow at times and really annoying but the maturity in this season was refreshing and realistic. All characters had their flaws- but that's life. You won't always be sure of what you want, feelings change, you get confused and sometimes you need reassurance- AND THAT'S OK. you live and you learn. You learn to trust yourself.

ps. what's actually messy is this review lol

pps. i'm glad the love alarm app doesn't exist in real life.

"It was not that I didn't love you, you were just to heavy"

I've never been this happy with a sequel or a series-ending in my entire k-drama life, it was perfect and they finished all of the stories beautifully! 10/10
They perfectly satesfied every stories ending, Kim Jojo's past, all of the final relationships (even the losing loveintrest's one). I can not immagine a better ending or a better conclustion to this story! Cried multiple times!
I love how she faces her past alone, without the need of a man guiding her, but that she can still have support when she herself got to get over and face her past.
I finished the entire series on the day which it was released, and do not regret a thing, might rewatch asap.

Utterly disappointing

I was so excited to watch the second season but this is just sad.

The kdrama fan in me died upon watching this.

On one unique perspective, it does have a different storyline and she chose the first season's second lead. All the guy's effort were worth it and he won the girl. It's an unlikely happy ending for the female lead and this season's male lead.

But why do I feel so empty, so unsatisfied? Like all of the excitement, I have were flushed through the toilet.

Poor Hwang Sun Oh. He was just pushed aside.

What a let down!

You’re obviously here because of that terrible cliffhanger a while ago. (To me, it felt that the first season ended quite abruptly, I honestly thought the producers gave up and that should have been my clue for season 2.)
Anyway, you will watch it no matter what I tell you.

But fair warning:
Little or no character development, with a few exceptions. The majority of these young people have no assertion, as if they have given up on life and depend on the love alarm - unless that’s the morale of the story.
Spineless and eternally pain enduring characters which is a non sensical approach, given that all of them fight for their education/work/peace of mind and do quite well no matter the background they grew up in…. It makes everyone quite unrelatable in that sense.

Then, the choices some characters make are more realistic in the end (but NOT at all coherent with their character).
Personally, I did not want to emerge in reality by watching this drama, rather than escape it. So make of that what you will.
4/10

it's not what you've been waiting for

Well, let's start with the fact that I was completely disappointed with the second season. Why? The reasons are simple so let me put it this way: From the beginning showing Kim Jojo's great love for Hye-Yeong was artificial.Completely pushing Sun-Oh aside,no reaction to his feelings from Kim Jojo as if she showed that she totally doesn't care what he's been going through emotionally for 4 years. Most of the scenes were dedicated to Hye-Yeoung and Sun-Oh was like just a background extra. They didn't give him an interesting plot thread, there were no twists and turns, his role was dating a person he doesn't love and flattening his actions as a model which was a very easy thing to do because he did it in the first season too.he worst part is that he's been very emotionally distraught and crying all season, and it's no wonder since he's been treated like a person who means nothing by his ex-friend and Kim Jojo's love. I'm really disappointed in how Hye-Yeong treated Sun-Oh where in the first season you could see them supporting each other like brothers and it was so wonderful and touching at times. And in the second season for Hye-Yeong Sun-Oh ceased to exist.Even though Kim-Jojo was hiding the truth about the shield and the spear the whole time he forgave her after Duk-gu's words to the app creator. Very strange and even more so saying at the end of Kim-Jojo to Su-Oh goodbye as if there was nothing between them then why was the story building throughout the first season?!!!Not even shed a tear it was a huge blow to Sun-Oh.The only thing I can praise is Sun-Oh's mother character who seemed warm and showed that she was able to show love to her son and be understanding. At the end when there is a record of Kim-Jojo's feelings there was no record at all of the day when his alarm went off from her.So she didn't love him at all?!!! The second season as I watched it didn't have the magic and sweet moments as if I was watching a different series. The ending was the worst forcing Sun-Oh to a person he doesn't love that maybe his alarm activates on her and a very predictable ending for Kim-JoJo with Hye-Yeong for the whole scope of the episodes you could infer that it would be like that in the trailer they manipulated us and it was very much that it could be different. The biggest disappointment I was to experience.

:(

Can i be honest. I was very disappointed about season 2. Makes me think what even was the point of season 1? they should of either left season 1 as it was and changed the ending to not being a cliffhanger. Season 2 was very confusing and frustrating suddenly shes dating the dude who would stalk her all the time , still dated him even tho she had no feelings for him which makes me feel bad for Hye Yeong she was literally playing with this dudes heart honestly Hye Yeong should be with someone who actually loves him i can't help but feel that she forced herself to like Hye Yeong because she already dumped Sun Oh and Sun Oh is in a new relationship. Don't even get me started on how much she played with Sun Oh feelings as well. Season 1 they were perfectly fine together. Near the end of season 1 they split ways all because she decides to get a shield so that her love alarm wouldn't go off she was a afraid to lose him? why? they were perfectly happy and Sun Oh didn't do anything to make her think that they wouldn't last Sun Oh really loved her and she loved him so why did she do this to herself? and break Sun Oh and her heart and relationship , also making matters worse she didn't even tell Sun Oh the reason why she broke up with him until season 2 which is what like a few YEARS later?? Also the fact that Sun Oh still loved her after all these years even when she dumped him without a reason and left , you can tell by this that Sun Oh must of really loved her. Now onto season 2 ugh i don't even wanna talk about season 2. Season 2.. Sun Oh meets Jojo after these years and what does jojo do? run away again like she did before. Sun Oh chased after her. Sun Oh asks Jojo the reason why she dumped him and FINALLY she tells him the truth Sun Oh confesses he still loves her and Jojo runs away AGAIN. They meet somewhere and Sun Oh kisses Jojo and says something like "im going to believe what ur eyes say". Also Jojo doesn't avoid the kiss. Which makes us think that she still had feelings for him but would keep denying it that she loves Sun Oh. This obviously makes Sun Oh upset and confused just as i felt lmao. Anyway at this point she runs away while Sun Oh is left standing there in the rain crying.. then like idk weeks or a month later? shes dating Hye Yeong. This season was a Roller Coaster for sure it was all over the place. Sun Oh and Jojo should of been together in the end. Most of the viewers wanted Sun Oh and Jojo to be together as well. Also id like to point out that this is MY OPINION everyone has a right to have an opinion. I wanted to share my honest review. not everyone will agree with me obviously and that's fine , like i said everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Nothing will change my mind about this show so i'm will stick to my opinion thank you.

Might be an unpopular opinion but hear me out

Seeing the array of negative reviews, I felt compelled to write this. I will try to keep this short:

-If you are Team Sun Oh, you’ll prefer season 1, if you are Team Hye Hyeong you’ll prefer season 2.
-If you’re just in it for the ride and are not fixated on either guys, season 2 is slow, but it surely takes a more realistic and mature approach and provides closure to all main characters (or even support) and gives them satisfying endings in my opinion.

I could somehow empathise and understand each character better this season. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I would even go ahead and say I liked this season more. The cinematography and music was very fitting as well and surely made the show better to watch.

I fully understand why people wouldn’t like how things wrapped here but in my eyes it made complete sense. If you watch the whole season without skipping any episodes or spoiling the ending for yourself you’ll maybe appreciate it a little better.

What a Kill Joy!

I was excited about this release and even waited when my schedule was completely clear to watch this. I might be a bit too brutal because I thought it was a waste of my time! There was no regard to Sun Oh's feelings! He went through absolutely too much because of Jojo for no reason at all! This amount of hurt was undeserving especially since he was her first love. Then she fell for the guy who in my opinion, stuck around like a damn shit fly until he grew on her. To me even this was a bit too unrealistic! #TeamSunOh

the ending was sooo disappointing :(

the plot was sooo clever and i really enjoyed the story line but the ending to me made the whole show a waste of time. i wish duk ju was given a back story and the new ceo of love alarm app. the whole reason why jojo and sun ho broke up was pathetic and unrealistic. she only liked the other man because she pitied him. really disappointed and hoped for better honestly. i know the ending was already planned from the webtoon it was based off but i was hoping similar to the true beauty, they were going to change it up a bit to suit what the fans wanted. they did not do this and all the reviews i have read have mentioned that they feel like they have wasted their day watching this kdrama!

Season 1 was way more better!!!!

Season 2 story is a trash (first) Sunho wanted to be with his love buit got walked over completly (second) Jojo is as messy as season 1 she doesn't think before she makes action she stabed sunho in his heart (third) Hye young is not much better as in the first season he is nothing he got everthing he wanted he got the girl and stabed sunho in the back.

I wish the first season could have a happy ending but no the must have made a second season and the second season is a completly trash.

Why must have Hye young to have everthing in the end this story should have end with sunho and jojo happy ending why did that hye young come between them. I really don't understand that why he got the spot light in the second season this is not really worth to watch the first season i could watch it again but the second season is not something to watch again.
