Nice Binge ROM/COM
Here we go another review:Story: Coming from a ROM/COM perspective amazing, from a real life perspective, story is good however unrealistic, where this shines is knowing how unlikely the main leads meet/get together throughout the series, the creator does not hide the fact its bloody difficult and they go into how it can be difficult which is good. Overall good start, great mid drama and good ending.
Acting: Main leads have great chemistry, side couple also great with no main villains included at all in this drama which is quite refreshing. I must say the male lead tends to at times be a little bit over the top in his acting ability to showcase how much he cares/loves the female lead but it is a rom com so not unbearable. HAHA
Music: I liked the music in this series alot, to the point I actually obtained a copy of the OST from the series. I cant fault how they used the music in this series however as the main female lead is a singer in the series, no wonder!
Rewatch Value: Absolutely, a good weekend binge for sure, popcorn up and get set!
Overall: Great series, definitely worth it for anyone that hasn't seen this before, and for those who have like myself, I would love to rewatch this again
Cheers all
Shing

Very simple yet perfect
Great show over all! Was simple and straight forward. No big problems with family and so on. More to real life than most dramas.Storyline - simple but perfect in every way. Has the right amount of romance and worry that they might not make it together. I liked that they worked out their problems instead of running away from them. There was no parents who were overbearing and controlling. Was just like reading a good romance novel. And I liked it all.
Acting/Cast - I watched Lin Yi’s first drama, “Put Your Head on my Shoulder” and loved it!!! He has grown a lot and is a good actor! I loved him in this on also! Will be watching more dramas he is in in the future. Xu Lu was great also. I have watched several of her dramas. She did really good in this one.
Music - loved it all. Hope to find the soundtrack soon!
Rewatch - YES! It was a perfect romance… no anxiety in watching it lol.

Sooooo sweeet
This was such a sweet and romantic show, and it's my first time giving a full score for music in a cdrama, the music in this was sooooo good.I loved the FL she was soo mature in this, she's older than the ML in the drama, but she was still very mature and sweet, wasn't annoying or anything. The ML did a great job with his role as well, they both had such a great chemistry, i find there chemistry in this better than ML other drama put your head on my shoulder.
I have no complaints with this drama, it was a great watch, for those who love romcom, and tons of sweetness between the lead then this is for you, any misunderstandings they deal with it vert maturely, loved that.

A Dedicated Sweet Love Story
This series is really cute and sweet. The music scenes were quite a few and could have been less, but I understand writers trying to drive the point of a very successful singer having to navigate dating and loving someone who is not in the entertainment world. The ML was very good in showing a strong presence and being tender within the same frame. The tension and chemistry between the leads was a slow burn but felt right once landed. The surrounding cast were a bit too immature even for college students. Their behaviors became more distracting than comical. The love interests' conflict between outsiders and parents were handled maturely. (Much appreciated). All in all, it is worth the watch. Was this review helpful to you?

Thia cdrama has been to my all time favs!!
If you are looking for a story with light and fluffy ,cute, lovey dovey....this is perfect drama.31 eps will keep you hooked and you wont even know it that you are every ep without skipping any ep!If you are wondering if the ML has second love interest then yes it has but for few for few eps...as she also gets her guy...
All the couple in this drama have their own cute story....every character played their role very well.
Lin yi out did himself....this is my second drama of his and this role is diff from PYHOMS.
FL sorry i dont remember the spelling name properly but she did justice to her role as singer.
Sometimes what happens is playing a singer role, the character has to properly lip sync the song with same emotions as the one who is singing.
And this FL did a fantastic job lip syncing and perfectly acting the singer role. And this drama songs are soo good to listen.
I wont talk about games here as first i will be like the singer and 2 as every drama related to games has after the couple meets and all...the game concept reduces but its okay.
Even though they were times it was like plot made by the other character may break the couple but instead they got strong.....instead hiding or just directly breaking up they talked understood what in real life people may do.
One thing i want to say is
This drama can be reel drama for the celebrities...a life or love story they want tk have after watching this drama....its very difficult for celebrity to have a good going strong relationship without any hindrance and this drama will make them hope amd imagine to have this kind of love story in their real life.

Everything Depends Upon Fate
As every other reviews state, the story was rather simple but I would not call it a cliched one. This drama was meant to be the fluffy kind where audiences get the warm fuzzy feeling with little to no tissue rate and I would say that this is not meant for everyone. For one, it's too smooth with the fate card being played at least 10 times; it could be considered that the male couples met each other due to the so-called "fate"There were a lot of things that I did not like when I finished watching this show but the warmth from it was still in my heart, making me feel like this is what an ideal relationship would be in fairy tales where the lead couples were perfect at everything they did. Even the relationship was meant to set an example for others and yet again, they made the male lead the almighty perfectionist whereas the Female lead was portrayed as rather plain but not in a typical way though. Plus, I would definitely not believe that a celebrity's life could be that simple where they could roam around in the streets with their boyfriend without anyone even noticing and some of the scenes were rather ridiculous but the pacing of the story was an average sort.
They definitely wanted to add layers in the story but failed.
The first thing that I loved was the amazing costumes and the awesome use of lighting in the set. The female lead being a singer, her costumes were like the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in dramas (other than certain Chinese males leads of course) and the costumes suited her really well and added a plus point to that fairy tale setting. Moreover, the OST's in this show was stunning and with this being a show revolving around singing, I believe that they were portrayed that nicely. There were scenes where I got goosebumps after hearing Liang Chen singing, it was that good. And on the plus note, there were no such villains ruining the life of the characters. Ahhaa! Who would not want this sort of life?
However, I prefer realistic dramas and even till the last episode, I had hope for this show. It's weird how I liked the simplistic part of the show and also hated it for being that way. Other than the warmy fuzz and admiration for the female lead who faced everything headstrong, this drama did not manage to give me any other feeling but there many details that I liked about this and would recommend it to anyone who is into a typical romantic story with great chemistry.

Simple and fresh drama that just keeps you warm
If you're looking for a drama to keep your day going filled with loving and fresh feels, then go ahead and watch this. It's been a while I've seen a drama that just goes smoothly with no typical sudden accidents/accidents/force-to-breakup storyline. The story is just plain happy and fills up your day. Even the OST goes through the show with such match. The drama includes parts relating to gaming - of which I would prefer they've also added more in the later episodes instead of just the front before both leads officially meets F2F, since that was how it started. But either way, the drama also shows how a person grows from each falls they have, presenting a sense of reality where we need to learn to climb back up. The only downside is I couldn't cope with 2nd ML charactor who likes to FL. The way he expresses his hidden love to her feels very cringey and creepy which makes ne quite uncomfortable. However, overall story line have been quite enjoyable.Update: I actually rewatched it twice and felt the drama to be real healing, probably from the OSTs which matches the storyline and all hehe

Yes, the main couple is cute but I fell for the second
This drama was so cheesy that sometimes I felt a second hand embarrassment. If you want romance with no one to meddle in, this is for you. Over here everything is so likable from the beauty of the leads, passing by the second leads that steal the show to the scenery.Let's start by praising the story: very simple, warm and gentle. I love how easy to follow it was, the characters were super likable, there was no crazy love triangle, not crazy second leads and very nice in laws. Maybe the only issue here, like in real life itself, is our own insecurities when it comes to love and dreams. Here are the number of things I loved from this drama:
1. Talking about those insecurities, I think the leads portrayed it very well. Even if you are someone in your 30s, professional and with a very good life, you can have it. We are not perfect, we are all humans and I really liked how this is shown in Liang Chen's life. She had an amazing career but not at all as she wanted to and she was always afraid of hurting people next to her. Her love story with Lu Jing was so simple that it was there from the very beginning, never broke up, never had a fight, everything was so easy to deal with because, that is a healthy relationship! learnt it!
2. Lu Jing, was an amazing character, that's how you get an older woman to like you. He was mature for his age, caring, gentle, sweet, respectful but not silly, he was not naive at all and very had tons of passion. I loved how he understood very quickly when he had make a mistake and how he tried to fix it. I adore how he was never manipulated and very smart in handling situations, I've to say we all want a partner like that. And man he knew how to sweet talk everything and how to kiss, amazing. Honestly? everything about him was confidence, he knew he could get it and he got it. That's how everything worked in life for him.
3. Jia Yun was a very sad character here, to talk about loneliness and success... He wasn't assertive enough to get the woman he liked, he was afraid because he knew she will reject him, she had never liked him back and he already knew it. However, he was a good second lead, respectful and a very nice friend.
One of my favorite scenes was when FL compares them, she knows Lu Jing will leave everything to love her but Jia Yun, as a grown man was more focused in his career and will love her but not with the same passion he loves his success, anyone next to him will be only a small part of his life. And that's the reason why she decides not to date him. After all Jia Yun was a very successful man and can get anything he wants but his career is first for him, which is not bad, he was an amazing actor.
4. If you like the first couple with their easy love story, prepare yourself for the second because that thing will show you how persistence actually work.
I love the second couple, I adore them and they were my favorite. I will tell you why:
At first I didn't like Shan Shan, that girl was beautiful but too cold for me to like. I couldn't understand her attitude but then after her story develops and they explain why she is like that... she is my favorite now. Even if they didn't say it, you can tell that girl had depression, depression for years and many will say: it is just a break up, he is a jerk get over it.
But if you ever got your heart broken you can understand her. Her ex stole her time, her love and her music, he made her feel so stup*d and small that she was barely able to do a thing in order to survive. I'm sure she was the most talented out of the group of friends, but she got stuck in that feeling of being small, being nothing, nada, that that's how she was living.
Add to it how she isolated herself, and more than isolation, everyone gave up on her. Do not blame FL or anyone else, but I truly feel sorry for how lonely she was, that is the demonstration that if you do not want to be helped no one can help you
However! crazy puppy Sun Bin Yun appears, out of nowhere, he remembers her, he never forgot her, he admires her because he knows how talented she was back then! and he is the only one that remembers how amazing she is, enough to respect her and help her shine again.
Sun Bin Yun is like that ray of sunshine that never gives up, he is the one that helps her continue with music, with life, that helps her laugh again, have friends and remember how to live. It is so beautiful how for the very first time after years she laughs and it is because of him. But that puppy is to shy and can help her, take care of her and do anything for her except... confess his feelings. And I really like how she takes that step into romance for the sake of both of the,.
She composes, she makes music and she starts living again.
The only thing I don't like about this drama was that, they deserved more time in the screen, I deserve to watch fluffly love scenes between Shan Shan and Bin Yun, please.
All in all, I like it, I love it, I enjoyed it.
Plus: I don't dare to say this drama was a slice of life, because it is not very common to fall in love with your idol in real life. However, we've all dreamed about it at some point, so it was very sweet to see this in a more down to earth drama.

Each episodes of this drama gave me simple joys ..
Was a great show. I need Season 2.Didn't even notice how fast this ends. I keep on wanting for more.
At first I feel like Lu Jing seem to be full of himself for wanting to be with Liang Chen. But, that's how you get a girl. Be full of yourself, be confident, be you and be sincere. After watching this, I feel like wanting a younger bf. Hahaha.
Anyway, it's not all good. There are few unrealistic and realistic scenes. First few episodes are full of coincidences and makes it look like destiny is trying to toy with the leads which make it more exciting.
Give it a try. It's like a sweet candy. Their relationship made me jealous. Lu Jing is so cute. ?

I'm very disappointed in this drama to be honest. It was honestly an e-sports drama to begin in the beginning and it was honestly not that good. There were literally so many coincidence in the show that made me very mad, like there's honestly no way that someone is that lucky. I also didn't understand why Liang Cheng was trying to learn to play video games in the beginning. Also I literally didn't care about the video game part. Literally in the beginning of the show, it kept showing us the scene inside the video game and it made me very upset because I honestly felt like it was wasting my time, and there was no point of even adding those scenes in there because whether you watch it or not it doesn't affect the story at all.. If those scenes weren't in there the show would probably be cut down to like 25 episodes. My other biggest problem is the fact that Liang Chen is a celebrity, however it's like she is purposely trying to get the paparazzi's attention by not wearing a mask or sunglasses to certain places. I don't think it was the actresses fault but maybe more of the crew and the setup of the drama. Also it's not possible for someone to fall in love with an online friend, especially since he doesn't know who is on the other side, and when the two of them finally meet, it's like love is in the air. Lu Jing's side makes sense since who wouldn't love their favorite celebrity, however how did Liang Chen fall in love with Lu Jing when she never even met him excpet online, that called she likes him based on his looks. They literally never hung out and it made me really mad.
Also what is up with Lu Jing's friends, when your friend is dating a celebrity the first ting you do is ask Lu Jing why he never told you that he was dating a celebrity, instead there reaction was to start praising Lu Jing. The show really disappointed me, however the acting was good and their love scences were cite and sweet.

Chemistry is off the charts
This drama has a slow start. It’s still enjoyable but it doesn’t get 10 stars good until after episode 10 when the leads meet in real life. The chemistry is off the the charts. The kiss and love scenes are some of the best I have seen in a C-drama! This drama is up there with love o2o and you are my glory for best gaming related rom coms of all time. A healthy love story with communication and understanding is on display. There are so many laugh out loud moments!I have a few minor complaints
The secondary male love interest was way too old for me to take him seriously. He’s a gorgeous man but he’s 50 years old while the female lead is in her early 20s … and he’s her superior in the music industry…. This just gave me bad vibes.
Next there is a depressed supporting character. Honestly i started fast forwarding through all her scenes.
