The story is about a girl who will sleepwalk if she is scared and need to find the cure to get better. That was really a refreshing concept. I haven’t seen that before. See need to find the person who can hug her of kiss her so she can get out of her sleepwalking really fast. Who that is you will need to see yourself :)

What I really liked about the drama is that there are no misunderstanding with a ex girl of ex boyfriend. No extreme jealousy or fight. There are 24 episodes and thats perfectly fine. If it was longer than it would be dragging.

The FL and ML are really cute together, but I didn’t really feel strong chemistry. Thats probably why I didn’t really give a high review. What I really liked was the goose a animal that you rarely would see. That made it funny. The actors they all did a great job and it was a light, lovely drama to watch.

Poisoned love found our boredom cure

These timely drops of sweet and light dramas are actual blessings. Every character played their parts so well that waiting for it to be subbed was worth it all. The one that stole the spotlight was definitely the goose. Hehe! Even though the plot somewhere felt kind of like a loop hole but actually it made pretty much sense for the trap. The couples were really cute together. When destiny knocks door make sure you open the door at once. Make sure you give it a try indulging into light and sweet romance.

What is destiny...?

What is destiny...? Sometimes destiny are something so simple like in this drama, sometimes is something so hard to get like other drama. In this drama, we can see destiny is so simple. The one destined to met will be met, the one destined to be together will be together.

What i like:
+ The love rival not so crazy. Shi Yi (SY) or Gu Wei have their share of craziness, especially SY. But eventually they're not doing anything too crazy or doing it too long.
+The drama quite short but also quite compact so this make us not too boring to watch or wait for this drama to end.
+ Shi Meng and Fang Yan quite lovely dovey in a sweet way.

Overall this is a good drama to watch with their own share of funny & romance. And yes maybe i'll gonna re-watch some sweet scene.

Destined Love rather than Poisoned Love

The drama tells the love story of a man and a woman who are destined to be together no matter the odds. The female lead is a voice actor who suffers from a rare illness (similar to sleepwalking). She meets the male lead who can help her cure her illness however she mistakes him for his brother.

The first half of the drama is very lighthearted with tons of rom-com vibes. I was smiling all the time while watching. The second half of the drama is more angsty and deals with male lead’s darker past and the female lead’s illness. It felt a little draggy and boring at times.

"We met each other the first time
It was a coincidence
We met each other again, the second time
It was inevitable
If we meet each other again, the third time
I’m sure that it must be destiny"
- quote from Poisoned Love

Throughout the drama, the theme of destined lovers is always referred to and we are shown many times that the main leads are meant to be together. I’m scratching my head why the title has the word poison. The romance is soft and the male lead is the only person who can cure her illness. A big part of the plot is the involvement of the second male lead (who the female lead initially believes is the person who can cure her). He is a bit of an obstacle between the leads. But I wouldn’t call it a love triangle since the female lead only likes the male lead.

POSITIVE:
- Fun rom-com vibes.
- Nice and supportive male lead/second male lead.
- First half of the drama made me smile all the time.
- Sweet and soft romance between the leads.
- Romance is the main focus.
- No filler scenes with stupid work stuff.
- Sweet kiss scenes.
- Support cast was good.

NEGATIVE:
- Second male lead’s love for the female lead can get annoying towards the second half of the drama. It's not a love triangle for me but he does get in between them. But he also gets redeemed in the end, so there is that.
- Second half of the drama felt draggy and a little boring.

OVERALL:
If you are looking for a fun rom-com that shows two brothers who are kind and caring towards the female lead and help her heal from her illness, you will enjoy this drama.

Super cute modern almost-retelling of Sleeping Beauty!

I was hesitant about whether to watch this drama or not but I am so glad that I did. Not only are the leads great-looking but they also have a lot of chemistry. I believed their character portrayal and their emotions for each other. Though predictable at times, the beautiful scenery, fast pace and great cast elevated this c-drama from most of its counterparts. Watch this if you are looking for major eye-candy and super-sweet scenes plus loads of skin-ship and kisses from the leads! Very highly recommended!

I love the flow of the story though it was quite a cliche.

First thing this drama caught my attention because of the male lead. He is really an eye catchy so I did not hesitate and give a try.

It was fantastic how the ML and the FL meet. Though there are some scenes that are quit cliche that is most likely saw on TV already but it is still soft and sweet.

Off course the ML and FL chemistry is superb. That maybe got me on the first place why I watched this drama. The ML in general was cold but change over time. I also like the comedy adlibs. And I can say, good thing they found a very handsome actor for this show that it made a lot of viewership.

It's just that on the meddle part there are some instances, that it was a bit, lacking when it comes to it's plot.

But all in all, it did great. It was able to show how destiny collided two people in the end. And its a 10/10 for me.

Poisoned love? Nah, sweet love!

a lovely watch, i enjoyed very much. i like cliche dramas so this was great lol the main couple has amazing chemistry and loved the storyline for her illness. the last few episodes were a bit messy so skipped quite a few bits but still enjoyable. acting was great and camera work was so nice too.

they did drag on the shi yi pretending to be FL’s cure storyline for too long tho, i felt like we could have had more episodes of them focusing on ML’s past and all. overall 9/10. defo give this a watch if u just want something cliche and romantic.

A giant scoop of fluffy and angsty tropes

If you're searching for that drama to tick all the original boxes, this isn't it. This is a well-executed, yet trope laden drama.

To start off, our FL has some childhood trauma that has manifested itself into a sleep-walking condition. This results in her being exceptionally vulnerable to the world and the people in it. Enter stage right, our ML. He is everything that our FL needs to cure her illness, but misunderstandings are abundant between the two and a series of comical yet slightly frustrating events follow.

PL is definitely not the worst out there, but certainly not my favorite. It is well made, but I found the storyline focused on only one problem at a time and the misunderstandings took up the majority of the screen time. I definitely wanted more exploration into the two leads background and the side couple as well. I felt there was some lost potential in some places. Where is really picks up is the romance. The ML is so sweet to her once they get together and entirely smitten with everything that is his FL. They bring the fluffiest of fluffy romances to life, and it's absolutely adorable to watch. There are some serious moments in here that are related to the leads pasts, and there is plenty of trauma and angst to pass around the characters. The comical moments in PL did help to keep the mood light, and annoying side characters only stay for mere moments, which was nice.

All in all, if you're looking for something quick and relatively commitment free, I would try this. It's cute in many places, but has just enough plot to keep the story from dragging along.

Best c-drama for me.

The story is a bit cliché. I've watched so many similar plots but the execution and portrayal is good. The character portrayal is also good. The main leads' chemistry is great. Its concept of love and romance, which involves fate and coincidences, seem too magical but can still happen in the real world. It very well suits my very own concept of love.
I can say that it's still a chill drama and doesn't contain too frustrating scenes. It satisfies those who focus on sweet and fun romance, not the plot. This is the only drama I love rewatching over and over again.

Very Nice Rom-Com

This is the kind of Chinese Rom-Com that I prefer. Sweet romance was at the maximum and angst at the minimum. The plot was simple, but it held together and didn't drag.

There were no control freak parents - ML's mom (the only parent in this drama) was so, so nice and worked to further the romance of ML/FL rather than hinder it. She liked FL instantly.

FL had a love rival, but Gu Wei was nothing serious - although she took over ML's office like she owned it (at least briefly) & caused FL to have a sleepwalking spell, she was quickly dispatched by ML and really served no serious threat (or major annoyance to the viewer - in other words, she didn't make you want to throw a brick at the TV). Really her only purpose was to clear up the misunderstanding between the second couple.

ML's love rival was more serious (his brother, Shi Yi) but not really. I had a case of the SML syndrome - if it were me, I would have chosen Shi Yi since he sings, plays the piano and is of a quiet and sensitive disposition. I gave him thumbs up for playing the role of scheming love rival - at least half-heartedly. It's so rare that the SML is the schemer. I don't know about you, but to me, Shi Yi seemed more like the younger brother than the older one. I really felt sympathy for him not getting the girl, especially since he liked her before ML (via her prior voice work). I don't understand how you can be someone's soulmate and yet not be in love with them, but I also don't understand how you can be in love with someone yet leave them to 'chase your dreams'. I guess I'm just from the old school. I was glad that there was no dream chasing separation in this drama like in so many C-dramas.

ML - he was wonderful. Not overly cold and unemotional like a lot of C-drama MLs. I didn't like him as much as ML on 'Arsenal Military Academy' or ML on 'Moonlight', but he was likeable and of course, quite handsome and debonair. Frankly, I would have thrown FL out of my house once the goose showed up - and I wouldn't have had second thoughts and let her back in. There's no way I'd let a goose live in my house. Geese are for barnyards, not high rise apartments. ML briefly played the role of noble idiot, but it didn't last long so it wasn't too distressing for the viewer.

FL - originally, I liked her, but as the drama went on, her bubbly cuteness began to wear on me. I did like that she dressed sensibly in longer skirts and flat shoes - although those sock-like tights she constantly wore were kind of ugly. She wore a lot of fuzzy, fluffy sweaters, which I'm assuming they used to try to make her seem goose-like. I did find it odd that whenever she was scared, she went into a trance yet during the kidnapping incident with Shi Yi's crazy manager (which to me would have been the most frightening), she stayed alert and conscious.

I was glad to see that the scriptwriter/director kept the second couple's romance to the minimum. In other words, their romance was there, but it didn't overshadow the MC like second/third couples romances do in a lot of C-dramas. Because they were limited, I felt the drama/plot moved along nicely, and I wasn't bored or fast forwarding through a romance I'm not interested in. Kudos to the scriptwriter/director for treating the second couple more like a K-drama - there's a romance but it didn't distract from the MC.

Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and hope this format will continue in future C-dramas. It was limited to 24 episodes, it limited secondary romances & it focused more on romance than angst (no control freak parents or evil female love rivals).

The reason why I watched this drama is because the female lead here is the second female lead in Love the way you are. I like how she acted there despite being in a support role so I was curious. I'm not sure though why the drama is titled Poisoned Love. The premise of this drama is about the female lead, a voice actress, who suffers from trauma and it manifests as like sleepwalking when she gets horrified. The male lead doesn't know that she calms down because of him and due to the fact that they're paths crossed when they were children.

I liked the drama and the female lead sometimes reminds me of Park Shin Hye. The leads' chemistry is also natural which is a plus.

Good one

Sweet romantic story ,the best part I like about the drama that they didn't stretch love triangle much . I felt bad to see the 2nd lead character as he loved her and he found that she didn't love him so he tried only once to played with her emotions but her emotions didn't swift away so he gave up and said the true . So this good because this made not to involved much with the character emotions so with no worries can see the drama ,sometimes we too much attached with the character that it looked real . Secondly I liked the part when he challenged the first lead to let pursue her for one month ,if she didn't fall for her ,he gave up so he tried every way and he felt so they shown this part in a funny way so I liked it. I didn't like the goose part because while chasing it they both looked stupid as well whole scene looked so stupid .they both are at good post one is actor other is producer and what they were doing ,chasing duck ,it was looked so stupid .To the story as well as acting a big thumbs-up.
