cool series

I liked the lightness of the series, the delicious romance, Jun and Rara's love blossoming, firming... the two of them are beautiful together! They could have explored the two more, with more romantic scenes… Until the last 2 episodes… terrible! Jun's illness is completely unnecessary! The issue of his family being against it, him having to study medicine, that sort of thing could have been better! But, a serious illness?! And 5 years later?? Ridiculous! Imagine something like that…. The poor girl suffered like hell, but who's to say that after 5 years she wouldn't have found a direction in her life?…. And it just comes out of nowhere…. They made a big mistake at the end!! Unfortunately, they didn't close with a flourish, a series that could have been great from start to finish!

Yikes!

The story was outright bad in the first place but its execution was even worse. Incoherent disjointed narrative, more often than note there was no clear direction or goal. It's impressive how it managed to continue for 16 episodes. The first 4 episodes were completely empty and could have been cut down to 30 minutes at most. Other slice of life dramas are more eventful than this one. As per usual the trend seems to be to over-saturate everything and turn a blind eye to anything else. This is Go Ah Ra's weakest project and the shallow character itself was tiring to watch.

Cried like a baby!

This movie was very entertaining. The characters played were funny and kept my interest. I have to say I cried like a baby during the death absence of Lee Jae Wook's character. I could not believe that the show would end with such a sad note even though some of the other characters ended up in a happy scenario. I loved the character that Lee Jae Wook portrayed. I am his new fan and will be watching other dramas/movies he is in. Thank you for such a great entertaining drama but I could have done without the part of the death of the character played by Lee Jae Wook. I had to keep telling myself it was just acting. I could feel the sadness and heartbreak thru the great acting performed. Thank you for ending it in a positive note otherwise I would still be crying. Great job to all.

Cute, but Emotionally Draining

This is one of the sweetest dramas I've ever seen. The love story is cute and the first half of the drama is almost perfect, in my opinion, but the drama does kind of stumble in the second half with a couple of unnecessary and dramatic twists. The last three or four episodes are just so emotionally exhaustive I almost had to pause mid-episode to process it all. I'll still probably rewatch this drama because, despite its frustrating ending, it's a cute love story. I'll just end the rewatch at episode 14 or so.

SEMI-SPOILER-FILLED mini rant:
Episode 16 is the worst. Why did he have to choose that lie?! Of all things, why the heck would he put everyone through all that? For. Five. Years. I understand that he didn't want to see her during that time, but damn. That's not the way to do it. For. Five, Years. Those last five minutes were disappointing as hell. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it turned out alright, but I thought they'd at least end it with her finally getting a proper wedding. It's so frustrating.

Don't watch!! Waste of time:)))

Just so bad, please don't watch this!!!

It starts off like a happy, cute fluffy kind of drama and by the end it turns into something completly diffrent. It does not make any sense!!! Why kill off the main character in the last episode, show everybody grieving and very sad just for them to come back in the last 3 minutes all happy like nothing happend? Why would anyone put their loved one though something like that? Just why??? Death is not somethig easy to move on from, maybe even traumatising and for the main character to come back and not give even a proper explanation its just so wrong. It seems like the writers ran out of ideas an they needet to fill the last 3 episodes with something.

Don't mind the low rating and reviews

A simple rom-com lovers would like this drama alot. Don't skip this drama based on few bad reviews and low rating.
The love story is so cute and the couple are very lovely. It really went smooth untill 10 episodes. Later there were many partings between main leads and unexpected plots which might disappoint viewers. I felt like the writer had nothing to write so they did this to the story. Though some scenes and parts of story disappointed me, I really enjoyed watching this drama. To say this in short without giving any spoilers, it is not so worst but you cry a lot at last 2 episodes(it is a must in every asian dramas ;D )
Lee Jae Wook and Go Ah Ra are really so cute. Her make-up and costume are so well done. Lee Jae Wook looks so handsome and lovely in this drama. I again fell in love with him watching this drama.

I really recommend this drama to all simple minded rom-com lovers.

Why did they have to ruin such a good series?

First of all, I absolutely love the first ten or eleven episodes. They can be hilarious but also very emotionally heavy. The premise was so unique, and I was fully expecting the series to join the ranks with some of my all-time favorite dramas like "While You were Sleeping." I would highly recommend that you even just watch those first 10 or 11 episodes alone because they were THAT amazing. I cried on so many occasions because the emotions the characters felt for each other and the exploration of interpersonal relationships was just so amazing. The entire cast has amazing chemistry. The characters were so well established, and I really enjoyed their personalities. Maybe read the synopsis for the last episode to see what happens to all of the characters, but by no means would I recommend watching the last third of the series.

At around episode 12, the series completely crashes and burns because of lazy writing. Rather than being a cohesive plot, the episodes just feel like loosely pieced together scenes meant to tie up various subplots that were established during the first half of the series. I can understand when the final episode of a kdrama does this, but I've never seen a series that was so strong throughout the first half degrade so suddenly. It's like episode 11 was still amazing and then episodes 12 onwards felt like they were written by completely different writers. There were a few gem scenes. However, I couldn't fully enjoy them because the pacing and surrounding plot was just hot garbage. Those scenes just made me feel even more sad like they were meant to be part of the amazing series that the first half established. Within the last 3 episodes, there's multiple occasions (one in particular in the cafe that irks me... iykyk) where a character literally answers questions about mysteries and character motivations throughout the series like a Q&A section. The pinnacle of lazy writing by reverting to telling not showing.

I usually love dramas that have a great ensemble cast with very heartwarming relationships (like the Reply series). However, the poor writing made it so difficult to find any joy in the final developments of some of my favorite relationships in the series.

DiSsaPOinTmEnT.

you must be wondering why I rated it 9/10 but I'm still calling it a disappointment. Honestly I didn't think I would really like this drama this much, I thought it'd just be a timepass drama which was okay to watch once. In the the starting few episodes the ML is what made me like the drama but as I watched I realised that this drama has a lot of main characters at first I thought that would just be more time consuming and would reduced time for the audience to like the ML and FL but these characters is actually what made me really love the drama each of their roles fit the story so perfectly.

I honestly dont like messy dramas and by this I mean dramas where the ML and FL like each other but a series of unfortunate circumstances keep them apart. Having one of these circumstances would make sense as thats like having ups and downs in an ECG, it keeps the drama alive and going. I thought Jun's mother keeping them apart was the end of it but then a love interest steps in surprisingly unlike what I thought thats not what kept them apart and so coming to know that Jun was ill didn't make me mad. However, watching the EP16 made me so disappointed. Telling everyone he was ill and showing up after 5 years is absolute stupidity. Instead I wish Jun recovered because Gu rara kept him strong and motivated with or without knowing he was ill. So when I rated this show it was exerting the last episode. Other than the last episode I will say this was a really good show consisting numerous characters who are so warm hearted and how youll end up falling in love with. The Drama would really be a 10/10 if the writer cut short the ending episode. So what if the drama is not 16 episodes.

P.S I just realised did the halabeoji (Mr.Kim) die without knowing that the ML is alive. I might be wrong on this please let me know.

Wonderful drama, despite the last 2 episodes must have been written by Mimi the dog

Awesome.
Really loved:
1 The plot with the way the story goes;
2 The mistery of who is Dodosolsollalasol;
3 The way Jun loves her, his unrealistic 19 years old maturity and the way he treats his love and cares for her;
4 - The never ending innocence and smile of Ra Ra;
5 - The side characters and stories, the neighbours, the weddings...;
6 - The Divorce Club! The idea was marvellous!
7 - The music, of course! The quality of classical music and the way it was well played in the scenes.

Didnt't like:
1 - The story of the stalker and why this was in this drama?
2 - The strange passion of Doctor Cha Eun for Ra Ra.... (there we go with another sent of a love triangle)
3 - The fatal leukemia of Jun and...
3.1 - Why doesn't he wants her support and tries to break her heart simulating a betrayal (a passion 19 years old man??)?
3.2 - Why did his mother appear and said he was dead??? - did they made a fake funeral? does this make any sense?
3.3 - Why delivering the tea cup he stole?
3.4 - 5 years?!?!?!? I really believe it was Mimi the dog who came up with this idea!!!!!!!!!

Summing up...

PLOT - beautiful syncronized story.

ACTING / CAST - great job for almost everyone!

OST - it is one or maybe the most important part of this drama! Great!!!

ENDING - Of course i liked seeing both together and all the happy endings but... The whole situation with the leukemia was AWFUL.

REWATCH - Maybe some parts or even everything until the last 2 episodes.

Do you like romantic gestures? happy and beautiful people without the awful malice of the world (except a non important stalker...)? If you do, please watch this show.! Do you like classical music, piano? Watch it please!
But be prepared to have a lobotomy in the last 2 episodes... Besides that and if you can skip this MAJOR MISTAKE you will smile and have a happy time with La La Piano Land and it's people...

I will recommend this to everyone i like and if i find someone i don't like i will recommend the last 2 episodes!

I am trying my hardest to put my feelings about this show into words and this is probably the first time my brain is completely blank and I just want to stare off into the distance and just focus on trying to relearn how to breath again.

I have heard so many people talk about how much they really enjoyed this drama and I've seen nothing but high scores from it so I finally gave in and was honestly hooked from the second it started. Even though I didn't like Ra-Ra at first, there was something quirky about her that I adored and couldn't stop watching. I guess I felt like her "ditzy" was an act? I don't know why but either way the more I watched the more she grew on me.
This was the first time I started a drama not liking any of the characters except for maybe 1 or 2 side characters (Like Mr Kim) but by the end of it, even the characters I full out hated ended up growing on me.

I loved the acting! OH MY GAH!!!!!! THE FREAKING ACTING!!! I swear I probably had a checked out look the whole time watching this because it was like tunnel vision -- I didn't see or hear anything else while this was playing. Lol I loved it.

The plot and storyline are a first for me as well. Like part of me knew I shouldn't get to caught up into the "happiness" because I mean come on.... it's a kdrama. Kdramas love their false happy moments don't they? Lol -- anyway -- I got caught up and honestly was not expecting that to happen as fast and as sudden as it did. It actually took me a while to start sobbing because it was so sudden that I was like "Wait, is this happening? This is happening? THIS IS HAPPENING!" lfjgheliughreiugheigguergherge I feel broken. And that very very end left me feeling numb, I literally don't know how I feel about it. I'm angry. I'm sad. I'm a lot of things. Confused mostly though. I wish they had provided a little extra bonus episode or a mini thing to explain exactly what they just hit us with. Because I'm sure every fan of this show that just went through that hellacious roller coaster all feel the same way about it. How can you end a show like that?! I have so many questions!!

Ahhh, talk about a lot of unanswered questions. Lol. Okay, first things first, the last episode isn't as bad as I thought it would be, idk if this is a spoiler but it's the talk of the town but I was more confused than upset. The story starts off with a naïve rich girl, that you think is going to ruin the show but she really shows out. Then a boy wonder that happens to be saving the day and idk man, it really was all in all cute. I liked everyone. I liked the stories, even when they through some random stuff in it, it was good. Then...it just was not. Lol. Something fell flat, it was like the writing took a whole 360 so whereas I am a little upset, I'm not entirely. I don't regret watching it. I actually liked it. It really did kind of keep you on yours toes, I'm not even going to lie.

Go Ara is such an amazing actress, I don't know what it is but she really shows out. Never seen the ML in anything but I liked it, I really truly liked everyone and how they connected.

The music was AMAZING. Wow. This is one of the best OST I have ever listened to in a while.

I wouldn't rewatch it with the sole purpose that I never usually do lol but also the ending xD
