A detective mini-series - only 5 episodes - in the vein of Sherlock Holmes about a retired psychologist with issues stemming from a past case and his young wannabe writer sidekick slash protege helping an inept police detective solve cases. Hm.Honestly, not even Shison Jun could save this one. I felt little to no connection to the main characters, the cases dragged and they were so convoluted they crossed into the ridiculous and I'm still not sure if this was meant to be a parody or if the writers actually wanted us to take it seriously. Because it was very... cringe-worthy in places.
The best thing? The song at the end, sung by the actor playing Yuri Rintaro, Kikkawa Koji, himself. That was amazing, a very catchy tune! But one song doesn't a drama make, as the saying goes.

It was Okay.
It could've been better, but overall, not that bad. The cases were interesting, not hard to understand what was going on, except the last one was a lot to take in...It made me chuckle here and there, because it felt slightly silly in some places. I had to remind myself it's a serious show. I'm sorry for giggling. So if you want a more realistic type show, I'm not sure if I could suggest it.
Other than that, I don't really have anything bad to say. The music was incredible. Koji outdid himself with this one. Deserves a pat on the back
