An underrated great story
I almost canceled my plan to watch this drama due to many negative comments in the comment sectionBut, after finishing this drama, I think this drama is very worth to watch... especially for those who are like me that hates unnneccessary stupid break up.
There is no break up or stupid 'sacrifice in the name of love in this drama, yes there is a bit cool down period, but it is totally managable
Other than 2 main leads, I love how the other couple (the bodyguard and the doctor) develop their relationship
I also love the plot twist near the end (which already hinted in the early episodes)
This drama is totally worth to watch

A pretty solid drama, with lots of sweet moments.
First, pls ignore the low ratings and poor reviews and watch it yourself. Its a pretty sweet drama, with simmering chemistry between the leads. It is well paced and not draggy atall. I did skip some scenes , most of the ones that Ling Cheng kept following the Gu girl like a lost puppy, it throughly irritated me, i couldnt stand it, but then towards the end his obssession was justified, so not bad atall. And the plot twist, whew! I didnt see that coming. Overall pretty good watch. I kept smiling all through. Plenty kisses too. And my God the ML is just too handsome its a crime honestly . Lol. Watch through your own lens and opinion. The 8.0 rating is well deserved.I don't know how My girl ZLS does it. She just pulls out the chemistry in who ever she is paired with, not matter the age, or genre. She is just too good. I watch any drama she acts in doesn't matter the ratings, i know she would flesh out her character so well.

A Delightful Drama with a Dash of Frustration: "Please Feel at Ease Mr Ling"
If you're looking for a good drama to sink your teeth into, "Please Feel at Ease Mr Ling" is definitely worth checking out. Personally, I found it to be an enjoyable watch with a few quirks that added both charm and frustration to the storyline.
One of the highlights of the drama is the lead characters. Their performances truly shine, and I found myself rooting for them throughout. However, I must admit that the female lead (FL) had her moments of stubbornness, occasionally opting for the frustrating "radio silence" approach. It was enough to give the poor young man in the story a few unnecessary heart attacks. Nonetheless, their chemistry is undeniable, and their interactions kept me engaged.
The story progression is another strong point. It strikes a good balance between being neither too fast nor too slow. This allows the plot to unfold naturally, keeping the viewer hooked without overwhelming them. I appreciated this well-paced narrative approach, as it provided ample time for character development and emotional depth.
Now, let's talk about the Gu family (excluding the FL). Prepare yourself, as you'll likely find yourself harboring an intense dislike for them. Never before have I hated an entire fictional family the way I hated the Gu's. Each member seemed to lack redeeming qualities, and their mere presence on screen became an annoyance. Gu Xin'er, in particular, really pushed my buttons. Kudos to the show's creators for crafting such compelling antagonists that evoke such strong emotions from the audience.
There was one aspect that didn't quite sit right with me, though. Xin'er's decision to wait for a that guy who had LITERALLY ATTEMPTED MURDER struck me as questionable. The drama seemed to downplay his actions, chalking them up to mere spoiling. This choice left me feeling a bit uneasy, as I hoped for more consequences of one's action storyline.
This remains an overall enjoyable drama. The chemistry between the main leads is undeniably electric, and their performances left me eagerly anticipating their future projects. If you're looking for a series that strikes a good balance between romance, drama, and a touch of frustration, I definitely recommend giving this one a watch.

What's the meaning of waiting
Watch this for 2022 Alphabet Drama / Movie Challenge. In the end I quite enjoy the show.I think like mostly people who wrote the review here, I also find this drama quite predictable, cliché & nothing too special & quite frankly a huge plot holes. But actually this drama still can give us quite a surprise in the end. Let's talk drama!
What I can predict:
* The villain behind the Gu An Xin (AX) sufferings all that year. But unfortunately until the end they never really discus the main reason why she did it. But my guess is money, AX's dad quite loaded overall.
* The story happen too fast. And if story happen too fast in the beginning only one meaning. Our main lead will suffer in the end. Haha....
What surprise:
* The villain behind Ling's family. Never expected him to be a bad guy. But yeah I can imagine being in his shoes & but still it doesn't justify what he did.
Plot holes:
Well not really plot holes actually. Maybe more like unfinished business or question they still left behind.
- Like I wrote earlier. The reason of the villain behind the Gu An Xin (AX) sufferings all that year.
- Ling Yue is adopted child or not. There're some hint. But never really clear of is it yes or not. If yes what his story then... Why his dad need to adopted him...?
The minus:
- Too much story involve. They don't really finished the exist plot but instead they must added with the story involving Ling's family. What I mean? Well it's gonna be better if they finished the story of AX & LY that I already wrote earlier.
- Too much couple. Well I like when they have found their match, but this just like pushing the forcing button, where they think everyone must have couple to be complete.
- Break up that doesn't really makes sense. Well when AX & LY break up for the very short time, the reason behind it doesn't really quite makes sense & the reason for their reunification even make more nonsense. LOVE of course what else. See the separation, for me, only to added more duration.
The plus:
+ The chemistry between our couple quite fit. Quite like the interaction between Zhao Lu Si & Lie Te.
+ The logical LY. Even though he cold, over bearing boss. But he still listen to AX complain when she protest about how LY arrange everything for her.
+ Even though too much couple, but everyone partner also quite fit with themselves.
Overall apart from all the minus and plot holes this actually quite enjoyable drama. That's why I still give it 7* rating

ok...

This drama is a nice romantic comedy within a dark melodramatic plot that comes from the leads been part of influential rival families. The story moves fast between all the twists and relationships but some characters turned to be provisional antagonist that really didn’t go well with their original characterization. Although the leading couple has many cute moments and intimate scenes (kissing), their chemistry was not on par with their romantic scenes; something was amiss with their body language, especially with Zhao Lu Si as Gu An Xin, who did very well on her cute scenes and became somewhat an annoyance when using her child like voice. Expectations of a great romance chemistry which she has shown in the past (i.e. Dating in the Kitchen, Love Better than Immortality) were thrown out of the window for more cute moments. [Maybe it was also Liu Te as Ling Yue / Xiao Ba that was a bit stoned face throughout the drama and didn’t show the intensity of his emotion through his body language, or it could’ve been the production itself ; not sure, but their chemistry was on and off throughout the drama]. Although some of the resolutions were okay, the antagonists didn’t get what they really deserved and Gu An Xin did not get closure from her biological father due to a wrongly used Alzheimer twist in the storyline which was totally ridiculous!] Overall, the drama is entertaining and a good watch while waiting for a great one to come! Addicting but boring ?
I skip through many part in this dramas. The story is super cliché but I think that this show did them well. The plot was all over the place but the acting was good.I honestly watch it for the eye candy. The plot are so cringy and the fight scenes make me laugh out loud with how ridiculous it look. It was fun watch but nothing amazing.
The drama start out great with the main couple being forced to live together but it start to drag after Ling Yue went back to his company. The plot where step-brother falls in love with his sister is so weird and I could have definitely do without that plot.
The kiss scenes were great tho and the chemistry between the main couple is so cute.
Overall, it was good enough for me to finish it but not enough for me to rewatch.

Lets be straight
To tell the truth this drama was very amazing it wasn't exactly mind blowing to say the least but it was a good drama to watch to be honest lets talk about the parts i didnt like this is my personal opinion didnt like the fact that some problems kept popping up and the female lead wouldnt listen to him explain but i did feel sometimes she had justification but thats pretty much it as well as how they kept on making it hard for the leads but that may because i liked them the good things about this drama is the acting and production as well as product placement is done well you dont see it every episode and when it comes around you feel as though you want to drink it i liked the acting from both leads i may be a bit bias towards the female lead because she one of my favorite actress currently and i feel as though the male lead played the charcter well since he s supposed to be someone who is pretty much inflexible in everything another thing i liked was the twist because it felt like i couldnt actually believe it so overall i would reccomend itWas this review helpful to you?
Watch without thinking
OVERALLThis drama is a decent filler; flawed but with enough cuteness and fluffiness to watch until the end. Watch it if 1) you are looking for an all-round cast of good-looking actors, 2) you like youthful humor, 3) you want a drama with lots of cute couple scenes. If you 1) care a lot about good plots with no incoherence, 2) hate clichés, 3) need sizzling chemistry between the leads, then skip.
THE STORY
I will be honest. The plot of this drama is really unimpressive. First, it's a complete melting pot of clichés, and not the kind you don't mind seeing again and again, the opposite kind. Accidental tripping and kissing, predictable antagonist moves, savior complex of the ML, etc. Second, it's full of elements that don't make sense: characters acting out of character, conflicts that appear out of nowhere or end randomly, events that aren't realistic, etc. One inconsistency that particularly drove me crazy was the bad character development of FL. The drama couldn't decide if to make her strong and outspoken or weak and influenceable, so she kept on changing from one scene to the next. Third, there's the fact that at times the drama felt a bit...immature? I guess it targets a relatively young audience. In short, there are lots of issues with this drama. HOWEVER, I still watched it until the end, and it was not a very painful experience.
Why? Well, mostly because the drama is so generous with the couple scenes. The relationship development (falling in love part) isn't the best, but you get tons of cute scenes between the leads and that's enough to keep you going (if you're watching mostly for romance). There are also one or two interesting plot twists that pleasantly surprise you, and the secondary couples get decent love lines too. Overall, I get the sense that although the drama has lots of issues, they're not THAT bad. As in, the quality isn't that rotten, even if the quantity of bad stuff is huge. You can ignore them without too much effort and just roll with it. At least, I did.
THE ACTING
Okay, I guess. OTP is convincing, even though I honestly didn't feel any chemistry between the leads and some of their scenes felt quite cringe to me. Not "I can't watch this" cringe, just "It doesn't feel real" cringe. It was fine, just not great. Older cast was fine too, but the secondary cast (except for one or two actors) did not impress me.
THE MUSIC
Also okay. It's decent, even though I didn't get the urge to listen to any of the songs once the drama ended.
REWATCH VALUE
Pretty average, not that high. It's light but still has lots of scenes that get on your nerve; it has lots of cute couple scenes but without much chemistry. I feel like there will always be better options when I feel like rewatching a drama.

Whats wrong with secretary kim got mixed up with Shopping King Louie
What do you get if you take WWWSK and mix it with Shopping king Luie, add some fluff, some drama, and common tropes and vwalla you have a mr Ling in need of feeling at ease...This drama starts out really well with great humor, pace, chemistry between the leads and an interesting story to follow with ALLOT of falling in to the guys lap more or less everywhere. This relationship makes one or two mistakes but they develop together and mostly practise consensual and honest relations and actually seem to enjoy each others physical contact as well as each others company and talk to each other (yes I know this is mind blowing). The guy seems to tell us that he has trouble controlling himself but honestly he actually shows off his capacity to both reflect upon himself and practice self control. She did not look terrified in any of their kisses (or other physical contact) fully able to say both yes, no and beat the hell out of any guy who crosses her boundaries.
But then it takes a dramatic tern the fluff subsides and well it just stops being fluffy and is both dragged out with nothing really new or especially interesting + ALLOT of cringey moments between side characters. Its not bad either its just meeh. Dragging down this potential fluff masterpiece score from a 9.5 to an 8.
The side stories and there characters are mostly okay, no one sticks out as annoying but we do have our regular stalkers and not very smart people there to make sure we remember this is a C- drama and not a K-drama,
So all in all worth a watch but they could have made it allot shorter or let us see more of the main couples fluff later on and not only in the beginning. .

Simple Yet Additive Story to Watch
Where to start in this series, straight off the bat I would state the main theme of this story is very similar to many other romantic comedies out there. Rich guy gets with poor girl with a indepth back story that ties the not at the end after some twists.Story: As above story starts off strong, really good start however after a few eps it goes back into the modern style love story which at times can be predictable. Still great to watch if its your first run through however is there Rewatchable elements stay tuned for later in this review.
Acting: Zhao Lu Si. what can I say, I have a soft spot for her, she is extremely cute and innocent for which I can say her acting at times gets overlooked. However in the last 2 series that I have watched with her as main lead, I can say she can act, I think she has played her character really well in this series. Where as Liu Te, was quite bland to be honest, there were other supportive male leads that did better acting then he did. I think not trying to be Bias here, if Yang Yang did the main lead in this series for which I know he wasn't part of it could of been better.
Music: Same same as expected of watching a Rom/Com, no issues here nothing standing out
Rewatchable: Yes/No, if you are after a simple Rom/Com to get moods up and have a good time then yes. However after watching this series in completing I do not know people would rewatch the whole series again from the start, I think most people will rewatch it but on certain episodes where it had better elements. Again just my point of view, this series would be great to watch with a partner that is also into Rom/Coms.
Overall: 1st time watching awesome, acting wise not bad for most, decent story overall, can be rewatched anytime however may not be every episode, unless Fan based.
Cheers
Shing

Can get draggy and boring
The drama started off great but then towards the middle of the drama it was draggy and boring. At the beginning the moments with the leads were cute and fluffy but as they introduce other characters the story just became boring. I find myself FF a lot but still made it to the end. If you don't have anything to watch and want to see some cliche romance then give this a try but be warned that towards the middle of the drama it gets cringy and draggy. Lusi does a great job in her role but how I wish the script was better. It had potential but alas it took a nose dive until the end where it picked up a bit. Overall I would not rewatch this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
