I'm... wow. I think it's one of the best yet.
☆☆☆☆☆ Ngl, when I picked this drama it was solely bc of the main leads (Dilraba and Yang Yang). I didn't really care much of the storyline, since I just loved the actors/actresses. The concept is fairly new, and I like it. Aerospace Science is something most people don't incorporate into our minds even though it's literally such a large project in future technology and exploration. The main leads are like coming across each other after a decade to get another chance to finally fulfill their dreams and write the future. The plot is mature and meaningful, which can be pretty hard to find. There weren't any love triangles (ok it's just barely there, but nothing major at all happened). The second (ish) leads (or, you can say the third person in the love triangles) don't go past the limits to try and "break the leads up", or try to threaten the leads, or sabotage them, which I thought was amazing. Yu Tu and Jing Jing have such a healthy relationship; they're understanding, and willing to communicate with each other. It's literally a perfect balance. I also loved the script- kudos to the scriptwriter; it was amazing.☆☆☆☆☆ Like I said, I came here at first for the main leads. Dilraba and Yang Yang did amazing (like always), and their chemistry was sooo good it's insane. The acting was super duper natural. I loved how the female lead character is supposed to be like one of those super successful supermodels/actresses that are very mature yet adorable. I loved that personality, it wasn't just pure "innocent female lead" vibes; the female lead was cute but extremely understanding, and the level of maturity is what tops it all. The male lead is one of those people who are the "good at everything" type and could make it big in any industry, though eventually uses their talents to work towards their dreams, which shows an unexplainable drive and perseverance. That's the part that was the most emotional for me. Well done to all the other characters; they were all played very well and I loved them.
☆☆☆☆☆ Lol, the music was great. A couple of the songs made me want to cry (mainly referring to the outro song)... It's like the song that plays when two leads/second leads break up with each other (in the rain or something). I thought the songs were all fitting and fun.
☆☆☆☆☆ Overall, just amazing, spectacular, incredible drama- I'm at a loss for words. Seriously, this just made it to my "top favorite dramas" list, no joke. If you haven't watched this go do so right now and I bet you won't regret the slightest bit. Would I rewatch it? I typically don't rewatch dramas, since I like moving on and I feel like it wouldn't be as exciting as the first time I watched it...? But in this case, I think this is the first drama I may come back to rewatch after some time. It was deep and meaningful, but there wasn't any major "trauma" like break ups or life-threatening situations. Truly a masterpiece.

Great Grounded Love Story
This was a show that the synopsis didn't prepare me for. It was far more mature , grounded and realistic than the esport tag led me to believe. The first few episodes really have me the chills in the portrayal of struggle and hardships faced in reallife after college . The comparison based on wealth and influence.
I loved the characters doubts and struggles and still the love and belief in each other.
The relationships were handled so well and the OST was so good.
I think I can recommend this show to anyone who loves romance .

Before I talk about what I liked about the drama—
I was incredibly, reluctant. I was never a fan of Love 020 with Yang and Zheng Shuang in light of the fact that it was too much fleecy and messy sentiment for me. And knowing that this drama is adapted from a novel that is written by the same author of that drama, I certainly had my reservations. Nonetheless… I was totally astounded that the dramatization had a considerably more adult and adult energy to it. What's more my cherished parts about the dramatization is that both the principle characters are two grown-ups who are making a decent attempt to be fruitful in their separate professions. This caused me to feel soooo appealing to them both as I watched the good and bad times of what they were confronting both expertly and socially. Along these lines, I was totally brought in and any delay that I at first held towards the show totally disappeared. Was this review helpful to you?
FOR ME, this was THE MOST PERFECT ROM-COM I HAVE EVER WATCHED.
Let me begin with 2 words, YANG YANG. This man is perfection. HIS VOICE, HIS FACE, HIS BODY, and most importantly HIS SWAGGER. (He can GET IT!!!!!!)Dilraba has always been one of my Favorite top 5 - C-Drama actresses. I will watch anything she stars in. She is just a natural. She sucks you in with every character she portrays.
Yang Yang + Dilraba= Out of this world chemistry. (I so want to see them in another drama)
I knew from the 1st episode that this was going to be good. I just knew. I binge watched this series in two days. Normally with dramas over 30 episodes you know its gonna become "laggy" and that you will probably have to skip through a lot of episodes. Not this one baby! You will find yourself dreading the coming of the next episode because its means that your time with this magical couple is ending!
The drama in this drama made sense! It was believable and relatable. Some complain that there were too many love scenes between the leads...Pfft (let me wash your mouth out with soap).
In my opinion there weren't enough. I am greedy as He** and I wanted more.
The supporting cast was just right. NO annoying sub-storylines that no one even cares about and would have to fast forward over. Shanghai is a beautiful city, and this drama displayed the modernity of this cosmopolitan city.
You will not waste your time on this drama. If you are looking for something to make you FEEL GOOOOOOOD. Then look no further than YOU ARE MY GLORY!

Easy to watch, sweet and funny
This drama is just a pleasure to watch, the plot flows nicely without too many big issues, with fluff, with and mostly logical and wise decisions overall. Nobody really forces themselves on the other, and barely any stalking or big misunderstandings. No one is particularly annoying and though the propaganda is mildly present it is not nearly as big as many other dramas. This is not a drama that will keep you on your toes but you will probably find yourself wanting to see more of this pretty much healthy couple grow together and find solutions to make their potentially very complicated relationship work.I love how the main couple interact with each other as well as with the people around them as well as how they portray fans, jealousy etc. making me smile most of the time.
So if you need something that just flows without complicating things this is definitely a good choice, just sit back and relax and they will do the rest.

Brilliant Direction; Playful scriptwriting; Ingenious Acting of the Male Lead
For many, the scene in episode 21, where he knelt down in front of her, was the best scene in the series. Because this scene showed a different persona of the ML. In the past, he was one that never bowed down to girls. One that is sought after. In this scene, he was brought down to sincere humility after a series of rejections from the FL. In his face there was a multitude of varied emotions that brought many to tears. I felt his sincerity, too. But it was the moment just before he opened the doorknob going inside the karaoke room that I realized that Yang Yang was really such a great actor. I understood his unspeakable feelings - for in this scene, I understood that he has made a decision to do anything to win her over. That slight sigh (that you can easily miss) was an understatement to the surging emotions and a decision in his lifetime. He is truly a brilliant actor. Also, he has a habit of 'doing something' with his hands when deep in thinking and for me, it marks one of his first rate skills as an actor or perhaps that was coming from the director? Whether it was from the director or originated from another inspiration, it was done in good taste, it didn't come out 'random'. I loved his ingenuity and playful character in this series. His capacity as an actor was maximized - the director was really brilliant. I also loved the scriptwriting - the playful words were awesome. This series is one that is not easy to forget. By the way, I would like to commend Yang Yang's image consultant - he is well-handled.Was this review helpful to you?
Surprisingly good!
This one was popular before it even came out, mostly due to the cast. I’d only seen Yang Yang in Love O2O(which i didn’t enjoy) and Dilraba in The Long Ballad, which I really liked. The premise sounded typical, but I wanted to watch something with Yang Yang that I enjoyed so I was hopeful. And it actually didn’t disappoint. Our leads are supposed to be older and they actually act like it. With the exception of the occasional dumb idea, they’re both adults and as such have adult struggles and there’s a maturity that surrounds them. The relationship follows suit (once they actually get together) and it’s such a joy to watch them carry through their respective hardships together, supporting each other with understanding and affection.
This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it was certainly mine and it made up for the travesty that was Love O2O, so I’m content

A romance in more ways than one - best modern Cdrama
This is my first romcom cdrama and I'm afraid the bar has been set too high, I've been making my way through some of the other recommendations but nothing quite comes close!Initially I thought that 32 eps is way too long for a drama (I'm very used to kdrama romcoms) and when the characters get together around the halfway mark, I was wondering what more of the story they could possibly show and whether it would get draggy. But after completing all episodes with multiple rewatches I can honestly say it was not long enough!! I've come to appreciate being able to soak in that happy ever after (kdramas always compress this into the last ep) over multiple episodes (including a wedding and multiple time-jumps) - it is truly a luxury.
I initially came to this drama because of my interest in esports. There is gaming and it plays a large role in the plot especially in the first 10 episodes, but it's more of a plot device to let the leads re-acquaint themselves with each other and get together. I did find the 2 competition episodes quite realistic and very exciting.
On the cast, this was my first Yang Yang drama and I'm now a forever fangirl. I thought that he was perfect for the role, his character says the most ridiculously romantic things in a very serious and intense way. Actually, everything Yu Tu does is generally quite stoic and intense, and when he decides to pursue Jing Jing he naturally becomes this intense and serious romantic dude as well lol. Yang Yang just has oodles of charisma and the way he carries himself with such confidence really works for these type of 'da shen' roles. He's nailed the art of deadpan hum-bragging and subtle arrogance that never quite crosses the line into cockiness. His chemistry with Reba was off the charts, and honestly was one of the main reasons why this drama is imho now one of my favs and so rewatchable. I know that a lot of this is also down to Reba herself and how she made Jing Jing's character so natural. Their interactions and all those small moments were very nicely done.
Another thing this drama does excellently was really the dialogue. All the dialogue between the leads was very well done, engaging, witty and funny. I found myself smiling at my screen stupidly throughout entire episodes. There are numerous instances where they banter, tease and joke which was very well written and consistently good throughout the drama. It is probably because the author of the novel also happens to be the screenwriter, but the quality of the script was really very very good. I must confess however that I did fast-forward through some of the aerospace testing parts (summary: Yu Tu spends entire episodes on some desert base brooding about Jing Jing and being depressed while doing scienc-y stuff) but I liked how the show ended with the launch of Yu Tu's space... probe? thingy (sorry! It was not an area of interest). It really drove home the culmination of his dreams, which he held on to, and Jing Jing's unwavering support for him. A romantic concept for a romantic profession.

A glorious feeling
Mature characters, realistic and honest love story, electrifying chemistry. Two people from extraordinary worlds fall in love and support each other like ordinary couples. There are no "villains" like how everyday life doesn't really have villains. There are no filler characters or plots. Every support character and backstory serves a purpose and are integrated into the story well. There are no unnecessary sidetracks or distractions. Thank you! There are no life-altering twists or conflicts to facilitate character building. Thank you again! Not every character building needs such events. Sometimes it's something that happens organically in fleeting moments. Emotions are conveyed through actions, not words. A lot is spoken without the need for many words. I loved the subtle expressions of love and understanding. Not everything needs to be said. It's usually understood.
I love Yu Tu's story arc and how it comes full circle. His ups and downs through the story hit close to home for many people. Jing Jing is the support system he needed. I love how he realizes it and then embraces it wholeheartedly. Her desire to see him achieve his dreams is as genuine as it gets. Yu Tu before and after Jing Jing is like night and day. Though a lot of the story may seem like it centers around Yu Tu's struggles and growth, Jing Jing is the highlight character for me. A cheerful, independent, strong-willed, down to earth, genuinely caring, and absolutely stunning woman. Dilreba lives and breathes her. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a single moment. Yang Yang seemed a little too stiff for me in the first 10 episodes or so. But seeing how he portrayed the hesitancy to accept QJJ and then eventually pursuing her, and his other side "after QJJ" makes me think the first one-third was his interpretation of YT's character. That's fine with me. QJJ's weight gets mentioned a few too many times for my liking. But it's the industry she is in and that's how the world, unfortunately, works whether we like it or not.
Once YT and QJJ get together it's sugar overload. There are enough swoonworthy moments in the show to last you a few months of rewatch. Their chemistry is off the charts both on screen and off screen. I had a broad smile plastered on my face throughout the YT-QJJ together phase of the show. Two stunning looking people being all forms of adorable together.
Some people may find the aerospace parts boring. I have an interest in the field so I found it engaging. I am not sure if you can really call the gaming part boring because that's where all the falling in love happens. If you are someone who looks for grand gestures, you will not get it. Everything is subtle. If you are looking for a fast-paced, love at first sight kinda story, this is not it. It's what people would call a slow burn romance. But isn't all love slow burn? You meet, spend time together, understand and respect each other, and then fall in love. Like how YT and QJJ do. Their relationship is mature, honest, healthy, and realistic, especially everything around the long distance part I can attest to firsthand.
Only memorable OST for me was the opening credits one. I can recognise one other OST vaguely. I don't remember much else.
Special mention to YT's mom. Her giggling when she meets QJJ for the first time will be something that will make me smile every time I think about it. Also, Xiao Zhu I think was all of us watching YT and QJJ together. Handwritten letters were such a nice touch. The animations during their LDR were cute.
Overall the show gives off a happy, fulfilling, glorious feeling which I fully embraced amidst these objectively not-so-great times.

Very sweet and light drama
I love this drama a lot. Very fluffy and light. I love how there isn't huge crisis in the drama. I love that all of the characters are very mature. I love the way Yu Tu's character is written. He is a very proud man but willing to unlearn things for his loved ones. I love the way they showed him being a proud man and feeling insecure with his income when compared to the FL. I love that the professor made him realized that no matter how much he earns as an engineer he will never be richer than FL so he should stop with his lame excuse of not being able to give something to her. And I love that he realized it's his own job to make himself feel like a man and it's not Jingjing's job to make him feel he's enough. I love that he accepts that and fixed the way he sees things. I love every part of this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
One of the Best C Drama I have ever watched!!!!!
Right from the start the way story revolves around leads interestingly. These are the main reasons why this differ from other dramas
Great acting from both leads with sizzling chemistry
↠No external problems, stupid misunderstandings, conflicts, the portrayal of a very healthy relationship.
↠The story and characterization are realistic with witty dialogues.
↠Inspirational story giving some important life lessons! but we aren't missing humor too
↠Focused on leads, so screentime doesn't get distributed on supporting roles or any side couple.
↠So many sweet and heart-fluttering moments.
↠No annoying, and unrealistic, over-the-top characters. Very likable leads. But not perfectionists.
↠Many gaming-related scenes in the start and aerospace-related scenes in the middle part of the drama. (in case if you aren't interested in both of them)
↠The flow of the story is very slow in the initial episodes, and it can be boring for someone.
