Healthy romantic couple
So many romcoms stick the female lead in embarrassing situations for cheap laughs, or have toxic male leads who push people around -- this one is a breath of fresh air by comparison! Here we have a very intelligent computer programmer as a female lead who is confident and stands up for herself, and a brave firefighter as a male lead who is kind and supportive. They are exactly the kind of healthy couple that is a joy to watch. With only ten episodes, there aren't a lot of side characters or plot twists, just a sweet and satisfying romance! Was this review helpful to you?
Short but unique! Binge worthy!!
To be honest, i randomly picked this drama to watch without any expectation. In fact, i dont really familiar with all the casts at first. SUPRISINGLY, it was soooo good!! What i love the most about this drama is that the romantic love story is not the main point, but the messages that they want to convey is what matters. I also love how this drama consists of three different relationships with different background stories. Some are heartbreaking, some are funny, some are cute. Most importantly, it was brought in a simple, very light, not complicated way. (i hope yall understand). All the actors and actresses are chef's kiss! They did well! Both male and female lead have chemistry in a very cute way. Both are so uWu. Overall, i love the moral stories from this drama. Although the message is simple in which we all might already heard it before but it was onpoint. Love it. Agreed with some of the review that the last episode seems to be rushed a bit, like it was fine and just nice but if only they can make it more happening and meaningful that will be great. 10 episodes, simple and very light drama yet impactful. Most importantly, binge worthy. Was this review helpful to you?
It's about an outrageously smart girl that by the force falls into this thing that we'll call her guardian angel and it truly does save her from a lot of trouble; what I liked is the parts that were like OMG, we're really like my mouth dropped and I was like NO WAY! So that really kept me on my toes. Lol I like the FL, she was honestly overall just great. I liked the ML, the hidden background was like oh here we go, but was not bad at all plus he truly was extremely sweet. Oh, and the sismace, I ADOOREEE BOMI FROM APINK!!! The acting was nice, I didn't feel like they forced it or anything!
I liked the music, I definitely could vibe with it.
I probably wouldn't rewatch it but overall, it wasn't fantastic but it was good. It was binge worthy in my opinion because it was such an easy and fast watch.

Non-complicated love story. Nicely written plot. Right amount of comedy.
Ok so I binged this drama too fast. Also the fact being that it had only 10 episodes it ended quite quickly. All the characters fit quite nicely in the plot. I just loved the quirky friendship among the ladies. They were such good friends and each had something unique to their character. Like Yeseul being the youngest and the most naive in case of the men that she dates. For which she had been through too many relationships in such little time. For a job she probably works as pest controller(?) which is kinda not a usual job a female lead shown in kdramas does for a living. Despite doing such a job she does always look good. On the other side, the other bestie owns a cafe where she serves some really out-of-the-world drinks. For ex. spinach curry smoothie and the visuals of the drink is also very out-of-the-world. Gosh, i did creep out watching her serving those drinks. But then the customers reactions and her own poker face when serving them really cracked me up. And then the main female lead is also just so unique. Song Ha yoon is such a natural. She always has great chemistry with her male co-actors. No matter who she is paired with, she always amazes me with her charm. Also she is really good at acting drunk and she does it so cutely. The ex was pathetic for doing all that he did but I liked that he admitted his mistakes eventually and badly wanted to patch up. Although I would not approve of her taking him back but his character development did show that he did really love Ji Sung. Although they showed his arc as mere comedy but he did love her in reality. I liked that he didnt just plain harassed her after the break up or just sweep her under the rug like she meant nothing to him and move on to some other gal. Now the male lead, Lee Jun young really played this character very well. At times Gook hee was plain cold but he really is a cinnamon roll that gets emotional really quick. His voice tone is soo sweet. I just loved hearing him speak. I liked his character arc. He was sympathetic and gentle. Although he didnt know how to chase the girl in the beginning. He did try to hold onto the girl when she tried to reach him. I did feel frustrated when he didnt believe in Ji sung after the secret cam being sent to him. I felt like he should have given her a chance to explain when she had always been with through the highs and lows. But then the break up didnt prolong too much so that makes up for it.Overall, I enjoyed this though I wanted it go on further but they wrapped it well in 10 episodes. Also it made me wonder how much we are depended on our phones. And how much of our personal details lies in this mere device. Is it really safe to be this depended on smartphones? When anyone can acquire all the private info just through peeping through your phone. Or if really such a tech was available could people's privacy ever be private?!
But it also showed the pros of a smartphone of how easier it has made our lives in the form of finding routes and translating to many more.
So I came back to this conclusion that it depends on how much you share yourself to these tech devices. How much of your personal life do you want to make public. It all depends on YOU.

Wasted potential
Finally, a show labeled ROMCOM that actually started out as one! There were some very amusing moments in this show. The problem is, they tried to add a suspense/mystery element and then didn't develop it completely. What was the firefighter's secret? What was the devastation from his past? Where did the AI in the refrigerator come from? Why was it there? These are all questions that I didn't feel were adequately answered. Add to that a villain that you never pay attention to throughout the whole show so he doesn't really make any sense. And I can't say that these things didn't have time to be addressed due to there being only 10 episodes. These things totally could have been addressed within that time frame.WRITING: As I said, there were a lot of amusing moments in this show. However, I really didn't like the way the women were written. They were written as needy and the type that can't be without a man. Women basically stalking men and then continually saying "I texted you so many times, why didn't you text me back?" I did like the friendship between the women, I thought it was realistic - you know you have those friends that sometimes irritate the heck out of you, but if they need you, you're there in a second. That's how these women were written and I enjoyed their camaraderie.
CHEMISTRY: There were a few good kisses and some hand holding. Sex is intimated.
MUSIC: I'll be honest, I don't remember it. The only thing I remember is the bad karaoke.
REWATCH: I don't feel the need to re-watch this. There weren't enough memorable things in this show.
OVERALL: It's an enjoyable watch if you lower your expectations and kind of leave your brain at the door. It has the added benefit of being only 10 episodes.

Best Comedy
I came in for the Al thing, as absurd as it sounded in the summary, but stayed for the comedy. The story tried hard to stay original like addressing several serious social issues like trolling, spying, etc despite some weird moments (can't they find scissors?!), overused tropes, but I'm not complaining as they are also the same moments which gave the best comedy. Especially the bridal shower, it was so hilarious I rewatched it several times. Even thinking right now and laughing at it.This has the best sismance type of story, with focus on each character (I liked the story of the sanitiser girl's story more than the main story) and their interactions, it reminded me of my school friends. I loved how they inserted random science thoughts into the story like wondering about XY chromosome, quoting Sigmund Freud etc. I found the romance minimal and if existed to be cringy but it did get steamy.
The ML actor was nothing special but more of eye candy. And the FL actor has improved some since seeing her in devilish joy and fight for my way. It was a bit varied character from her former roles and less crying. The ending OST was good one. Rewatch value is worth for comedy.

I find the main characters cute and lovely. The three girls have a good chemistry, I like all the characters (*like all of them even the annoying ones). This drama is really nice for a 10 run episode. I had butterflies, I felt the chemistry and the romance in the drama and I got a smile on my face watching this. No unnecessary drama but I like that there are some ‘problems’ that are addressed. At first, it feels like there is no major development going on but as it goes I did see the worth of the drama.
Cute, fun and nice drama to watch and can be finished real quick since it just have 10 episodes.

My first worst Korean drama
I am watching kdramas from past 5 years, this is the worst drama I have ever watched. By looking at the ML face I initially thought something is not right, I should have listened to my first instinct but yet I wasted 10 hours of my precious time. This is first drama where it is portrayed all male characters(including ML) are jerks and all female characters are cool and matured. OMG that to ML, truly speaking I have note down his name in my note pad to remember not to watch his drama in my life. Especially in kdramas I expect and observe characters development of at least ML and FL but here ML character is go on deteriorating. May be this is a female orienting or female concentrated drama but I don’t think to show most of all the male characters in such sadistic way, it is portrayed like all males are jerks but in the world only females are good and victims of the males. ML suggest FL not to ask anything about his past and just trust him blindly but when FL was in very bad and dangerous situation he simply abandoned her saying he don’t trust her because he don’t know about her, that to after when she was with him during his worst times saying she don’t want to know anything about his past or about his gossips in the internet. After watching the last episode what I realised is, may be the production unit pressure the director to wind up the series may be it was going downhill in box office because the ending is so sudden without showing a proper flow in the climax.MY SINCERE SUGGESTION NOT TO WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS DRAMA

Its a beautiful and innocent love story between the main leads.
I love how they have brought the technology in the drama, and they have just not used for few episodes but taken it up till the end of the drama. It shows a lot of emotions that a woman faces in various places. I liked how the drama expressed those. Also, Gok hee (Lee junyong) has acted so well for his character, his shy feelings. All of these make every scene between the leads a heart fluttering moment. If you want a comedy with romance and a bit of technology, this is your stop. GO watch itP.S another reason to watch this is to watch Junyoung act...DO support him with all his future endeavors~~

Online harassment is pervasive
I like the fact that the women in this story are smart (mostly) and supportive of each other. The drama deals with quite serious relationship issues of sexism at work, misuse of technology to spy on relationships, stalking ex boyfriend, females emotional support for their close girlfriends and bullying public opinion based on social media - all in 10 episodes so sometimes it is not polished but handles the topics well.
Seo Ji-seong (Song Ha-yoon) is a clever AI programmer and she is curious about a glitch in her Fridge AI that has access to a great deal of personal data. This data reveals her fiance is basically a sleaze who has posted 'non consensual' photos to his sexist buddies and made inappropriate comments in their group chat. I love that Ji-seong ditches him and does not back down in her condemnation of his behaviour. Her mum is very supportive of her, there is a terrific scene where the would be mother in law is given a thorough telling off by Ji-seong's mum.
Jung Gook Hee (played by Lee Jun Young, (loved him in Love and Leashes) is younger than Ji-seong appealingly straightforward and avoids technology. They cross paths frequently and a romance blossoms. Gook Hee has chosen to become a firefighter due to misplaced guilt over an incident when he was young. This guilt has emotionally scarred him and creates the back story.
The two girlfriends of Ji-seong are quite different personalities and are having difficulties in their own relationships yet always find time to offer their friendship.
The only jarring note for me was when Ji-seong was crying and hitting the fridge in a very childish and emotional outburst. I felt it was overacted. The rest of the time I enjoyed the ensemble and the plot.

Good acting and good characters
I never really connected with the characters in this rom-com, so it wasn't my favorite. However, I do think that the actors displayed their talents by making the 1-dimensional, over-the-top characters come to life. So for that, I give them props. And the story itself wasn't bad, and the ridiculousness wasn't so great that I ever thought about dropping it.I think my favorite character was probably Gam Oh Jung, the firefighting partner of Jung Kook Hee. This character was written and portrayed well, and was often pivotal in the decisions of the other characters. He was silly but insightful, responsible yet care-free, and supportive without stepping on toes. I admired his tenacity, but also his ability to let go when needed. I also enjoyed his comic relief, which was delivered without resorting to slapstick actions or reactions.
The show did have many elements that I didn't expect, such as suspense, hidden agendas, and mild mystery and danger, without losing the comedy and romance portions of the rom-com. Also, I think the writers did well wrapping up the show, as it felt "finished" but not rushed at the end. I would definitely recommend this as a show to pass the time, and if someone were to watch this without any expectations, I think they would enjoy it.

Enjoyable, Lovable, A little Sci-Fi themed Rom Com.
I saw a lot of negative reviews of the show that said the episodes didn't make sense or weren't watchable. This is made me a little conscious about going ahead with watching the show any way. To be honest, I've watched the show entirely and I don't understand what the problem is?It's a perfectly watchable drama. The story is fast paced with multiple interesting elements and a perfectly watchable cast. The casting is actually good. The drama cast unexpected faces together, and to be honest, that was very enjoyable. The acting was followable, as in, I never questioned why anyone did a certain scene in a particular way. I actually really enjoyed both the casting and the acting.
Finally, the story is actually well executed. Perhaps two more episodes would have made it more fleshed out and honest with a great ending, but it wasn't at all bad. Honestly, with this one, don't go based on reviews but rather if you like the story line and the casting, just watch the show. It's extremely funny and fun and I would definitely recommend it to another person.
