The club that Giwi's mother run was not doing great lately. So she let Giwi look for some new people at school to attract the customers. Giwi knew that Ton had been treating Mim poorly, therefore she convinced Mim to work as a part-time in her shop, so that Mim could be independent from Ton. Mim met Pitch's father Pong in the club.
