A pleasant surprise!
This drama exceeded all my expectations. Such drama is usually not my alley abd I only plan to watch this one for fun but oh boy, I was so wrong. I was in for a ride, waiting for the next episodes to come. Honestly, I don't plan to make a review for this one if not for the spamming behaviour.Pacing is surprisingly good. They didn't dwell too long on that damn bracelet.
Comedic timing is on point. The lightning, fake end credits, dust demon missing a decimal and Miao miao dying several times to offer medicine are funny.
Ding Yuxi is so good! His eyes are enough to express emotions. Yu Shuxin is good too. I cried during the father scene.
Script is the best selling point of this drama. The scriptwriter made changes that I actually appreciate, such as Miao Miao not being too clingy to Fuyi for the mission. I also appreciate how Miao Miao's remarks resonate with me as a viewer.

I often wondered why in one website’s ratings of a drama is high and another is low? The same show……………I think it’s related to the age groups of the audiences that is watching…….This drama, in my opinion is not very good……Esther Yu acting is ????????????? She think she is a barbie doll and portrayed as such….she tried acting cute but came out doltish. Ding Yu Xi became a better actor now, He have one of the most attractive and expressive lips in the show industry………..but he has the ugliest fingers…..stop bitting your nails Yu Xi, does not do anything for your image!!!!!!!!
The drama itself is also lacking….. too much graphics and not enough stories…..it is not one that you can’t wait to see the next episode……
If this kind of drama is your cup of tea, go for it....in the mean time, I rather watch something else but will come back if nothing else is attracting my attentions.

Drama of the year
The drama excels in its plot, costumes, and the performances of the actors; everything is truly impressive. The chemistry between the cast is exceptional. There are many humorous scenes, but there are also deeply emotional moments, particularly when Miaomiao meets her father, Lin Yu, who resembles her real-life father; it was incredibly touching.Was this review helpful to you?

The drama is very beautiful and well-made, and after all the sad and depressing series with dark and sharp colors, this one is really very happy and colorful. Fun and exciting drama! I am absolutely adoring it to bits!
I have been eagerly waiting for this drama for a long time. I have enjoyed every single episode.The acting of all the cast is impeccable and top tier. The story is so much fun, suspenseful and adventurous. The chemistry of all the cast members is excellent.
The male lead and the female lead is doing really good job portraying their character. Their love relationship is so beautiful and heart warming. I like the positive character development of the main characters. They have learnt to wholeheartedly trust and rely on each other and be truthful and open their hearts to each other. I have enjoyed how some characters' past stories have unfolded very cleverly. The whole plot is very intriguing.
The costumes, sound/visual effects, cenimatrography, environmental sets are very good.

Fresh and Worth Checking out Drama
I was skeptical at first cuz I am a fan of the book & the manga , concern they will change the details but turn out the drama is great, its fun, entertaining but also heart touching . They do change some detail from the book but all the changes are surprisingly acceptable and some details are even better than in the book. MC are doing great job and they fitted the character so well. The chemistry between FL &ML is soooo good. Strongly recommended to check out.Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best idol drama of 2024
At last 2024 put out a good idol fantasy Drama... The story is interesting, the pace is really good, great acting from all the actors, and most importantly good characters writing. So far I've watched half way through all the episodes, and haven't stump on one boring episode. Thoroughly enjoying each episode. Truly recommended. Please give it a try... I've read the novel many months ago, and this drama is a rare good adaption, kudos to the writer ?Was this review helpful to you?

Same story but great presentation
I am not writing a review. I am shearing my thoughts. When I heared, Ding Yuxi and Yu Shu Xin reunited for a new drama, I was happy. I visited this page so many time to check update. I've been waiting for this drama for a very long time and so far I like everything about it. In many chinese dramas, even small doses of humor can be cringe-worthy, and I laughed heartily at this one. The drama even mocks certain stereotypes in Chinese fantasy dramas in his own way. Great all around
first things first the casting is spot on dyx and ysx is such a joy to watch previously in moonlight and their reunion here was very much a pleasent bonus. The fast paced plot and humor is really well done not too fast that things are getting glossed over but fast enough that my little adhd brain is not bored. Ding yuxis acting performance as per usual is spot on, he encapsulates the character mu sheng very well. esther as miao miao is also very endearing I love watching her and can feel the character well. The plot itself is very interesting as iam a seasoned villainess manhwa reader so i was very excited for this drama and boy sure did they not disappoint!!
