The series is very well-known. It's a game of going back to the past and changing things. But I didn't understand this in the first three episodes I watched. I didn't understand the plot. I didn't understand what was being said. I didn't understand what the actors were doing either. It seemed to me like Esther Yu's game of doing some funny things with her eyebrows down or drooping as if she was sad. She's being funny. Does it suit her? It's debatable. Childish things. It's not a style that appeals to every viewer. It seemed very unbecoming to me. I didn't like it. This understanding of the game also affected ML. It didn't suit her either. It dragged that actor down. The actors are good, talented actors. I was surprised how they got a role in such a scenario, in such a child's play. It's unbelievable that Esther Lu could play those roles with her face shape and eyebrows. I think she should stop being comedic. She should be more solid. She should do more dramatic roles. I don't have any objections to her acting, but it doesn't suit her. Sorry. I haven't mentioned the voices yet. It didn't work. I barely watched the three episodes. I couldn't bear it.

I'LL REVIEW IT EPISODE BY EPISODE BEFORE I GIVE OVERALL REVIEW

EPISODE 1: Lightning and Credits: A Familiar yet unfamiliar introduction.

1. Genre
-Familiar: Demon-hunting and Transmigrating to a book is common on c-novels. If you love to read this kind of genre, the plot is easy to grasp and very true to its premise. The drama opens the introduction with Ling Miaomiao's relatable character as a reader and worker. The book's plot the FL reads is explained through great watercolor painting style animation which I appreciate.
-Unfamiliar: Game System/Book Transmigration genre is a rare to see in c-dramas so it's still refreshing to see in the screen especially there are many scenes that I can't help but to laugh out loud such as lightning scenes, credits scene, and Ling Miaomiao's inner monologues about the novel.

2. Memories
- There's a famous quote by Jonathan Dunne "In the end, all we have is memories". The memories of FL in a certain scene where it feels like her two worlds collide.
-Usually in some dramas, if leads don't get happy ending in ancient world, there's possibility again to meet in modern world as another person. In this drama, we get that too in this drama but it's not the leads, but someone related to our FL (I don't want to spoil who it is) and this time, they didn't meet in modern world, but in ancient setting. This scene pokes my heart.

3. Clichés put into good use
-It's not a rare sight for Xianxia to see leads either ML/FL to be attacked by lightning usually punished due to disobedience to their master or God's or Heavenly rules. This drama add used that lightning not to create heart wrenching scene but into comedy gold. Added with closing credit scene, I can't help to laugh out loud.

Le film était vraiment décevant. Le scénario manquait de profondeur et de cohérence, avec des rebondissements prévisibles et des dialogues plats qui n'apportaient rien aux personnages. Les acteurs semblaient peu inspirés, comme s’ils jouaient sans conviction, ce qui rendait les émotions peu crédibles. De plus, la réalisation laissait à désirer, avec des plans mal cadrés et un montage incohérent. La bande sonore, censée ajouter de l'intensité, était mal utilisée et souvent inappropriée. Bagi kalian yang baru coba-coba mau nonton dracin, aku rekomendasiin yang satu ini deh. Dramanya Esther Yu sama Ding Yuxi memang sulit ditolak. Chemistry pasangan ini epic banget nget-nget. Saya juga suka tema ceritanya tentang si cewek masuk ke dunia dalam game. Seandainya si cewe bisa bertindak sendiri pasti dramanya bakalan ngebosenin tapi coy ini tindakan/gerak gerik cewenya diatur sistem coy. Makanya harus pinter-pinter cari jalan keluar dari tugas yang biasa diberikan sama sistem yang terkadang resikonya nyawa jadi taruhan. Ini ramah banget untuk keluarga, semua usia bisa nonton. Ada sedihnya, senangnya, komedinya behh. Untuk visual cocok" aja sih menurut aku dan efek gambar juga keren jempol deh buat yang bikin drama ini. Mereka juga pinter pilih pemain dalam drama ini yang membuat keseluruhan dramanya bagus. HARUS NONTON YAA!!!
