What a wild ride it has been!

Big Mouth has started off really strong with a bang. I loved how the story has initially presented Chang Ho's character and how they turned things around so dramatically. What a wild ride it has been. From an incompetent, debt-ridden lawyer, he was tagged as one of the most notorious criminals in the country, Big Mouse. Each and every episode was gripping and heart-racing, adding more and more layers to different mysteries. I must say though, the ending was disappointing. This could have easily been a 10/10 but the ending left so many loose ends and felt so rushed and forced. The development of the story was so intense, consistently throwing viewers off-balance with puzzles to solve which may have been actually too much since the ending didn't give justice to it. Minus the last episode, though, this drama has been nothing but genius.

Chang Ho's character development was topnotch. It's such an amazing portrayal of how desperation and the fight for survival changes people in extraordinary ways. Realizing that the main theme wasn't really the revelation of Big Mouse's identity, but how Chang Ho himself transitioned to be his own version of Big Mouse was definitely satisfying.

I loved the dynamics of Chang Ho and Ji Hoon. What an unconventional and powerful alliance. Although I wish we could have explored this in depth, too. I also really liked the camaraderie formed between Chang Ho and some of his fellow prisoners. I always love to see a good relationship building between characters.

What a shame that there wasn't too much romantic elements added to this, though. YoonA and Lee Jong Suk are undeniably one of the most gorgeous pairings I've seen on TV. I liked the "I have to do it. Who else would do something dangerous for you?" kind of relationship they had, though. I just hope they got a better ending after everything.

Spectacular performances by the actors, too. May actually be Lee Jong Suk's best to date. As usual, Kim Joo Hun was breathtaking. I wanted to kill his character myself, I swear.

Mystery of the year 2022....?

Big mouth ( 빅 마우스, Big mouse; literal title) is one of the most awaited drama due to almost every reason of it. The story is written by jang young chul and jung Kyung soon. Vagabond and empress ki are some of their best works.
On the other hand this is directed by Oh choong wan previously worked with Lee Jong suk in the drama, ‘ While you were sleeping.’ Hotel del Luna and start-up are some of his other works.

Story:-
Story is the best feature of this drama exploring the expedition of whole characters in search of Mystery character called Big mouse.
Starting out as a simple drama, in no time it pulls you in in the quest of figuring of the mystery man/women/ghost/organization.
Park Chang ho, a quite ordinary defence lawyer with the nickname *big mouth* due his big talks, while solving a murder case, gets framed as a biggest con man in the history, Big mouse. Thereafter story progresses as Big mouse keeps everyone shocked with his wise revelations of the conspiracy.
Each episode, though reveals something, gets confusing and hard to figure out who Big mouse could be? Making us feel suspicious about all characters, even those who bear a veil of innocence. This thing about this drama keeps you on your toes to see what’s coming out in the next episodes.

But the drama has it’s own flaws, like there has never been any certain scene that proves park Chang ho and ko miho are intimate or even married. At times this makes it even worse by the use of few formal dialogues...this makes you feel uneasy about their relationship to stay at one place... Anyway this has never been a marking part of this drama.

I would say the ending is a bit unsatisfying and rushed ofc. There are no PROPER explanations for some of the actions and questions arising in the first half, like what was the significance of those papers?
Besides giving off a blast about conspiracy behind it. And why didn’t Hye Jin get the justice for her death? I mean she just died for like an unnecessary reason.

Even with all those loopholes this drama keeps you tied to it to urge to watch next episode. And this is the mystery of the year to me.
Still not solved though....

Acting:-
Lee Jong suk: He has returned to small screen almost 2 and half years later. This is one of the marked reason that this drama has gotten a wide attention due his big fan following. He has been my bias for quite a long actually, so I am totally impartial in his case, though I’ll try to keep it simple.
He has performed the character very meticulously. His expression and some acting corners have also improved over the time. Lee Jong suk has always been choosing versatility in character and he aced in this one as well...

Go miho is the most important character in opinion and if Chang ho is the Big mouse( Big mouse is still not certain to me), she holds all answers to it... Sad it ends with her... Her acting, though poor at the beginning, gets better with every coming episodes.

As for the other actors, I would say I’m not satisfied. Not entirely though. Drama didn’t really explores their background, thus making them insignificant at the start...
( I guess this was necessary for the story being mystery thriller.) Still this is the disadvantage to the drama...

Ost & music:-
The only ost this has is ‘New face’.
It gave me goose bumps while playing in the drama. Certainly not the best but good for what seems mysterious....
Bgm is quite good. It is one of the factors that gets your brain engaged it the story.

Re-watch:-
After all this, this was nothing but just a bluff, quite fascinating though. I am unlikely to come here again for the second watch and don’t even want the second season except for some explanations if they can give...

But I will definitely recommend this to everyone for their first watch keeping in mind that this is not the best but a good drive if you want to enjoy mystery thriller and Ljs visuals ( btw he has gotten a bit chubby on his face, that doesn’t degrades his killing handsome )

Lee Jong suk fighting!!! :)

Thanks for coming here.. Happy watching..!

It was AMAZING but the ending...

I finally watched the end of Big Mouth. Every twist and turn got me and the rush of everything. But the ending just did Park Changho dirty. Maybe it was a consequence of everything whether what he did was good or bad, but I was expecting actual justice but no. They had to kill Ko Miho off and make him stay being Big Mouse. I get it, it wasn't a romance drama, but after everything Changho endured, they could have let him be happy and have justice. Or how Choi Doha was killed just didn't feel like justice. I really wanted the satisfaction of justice like I felt watching Itaewon Class (completely different drama to this but the justice felt sweet, lil pun there.) It was completely rushed and I didn't like the epilogue style of "he got this company or she was rescued from the psychiatric hospital."
But all in all I think this is the best role Lee Jong Suk has done to date. The mafia boss is a good look on him.

Good Enough

Korean Drama " Big Mouth " is a story based on misunderstandings.

Right from the start, the drama pulls you in with the injustice trope, the prison setting and the Big Mouse mystery.

The villains, moreover, were interesting and kept things intriguing for a while.

But that's for the first part of the drama. The second part, however, was repeating twist, was boring and confusing and fell into a lot of cliches. The ending, in addition, was questionable, but it did fit the story.

Finally, the cinematography was nice and dark, with noir scenes and an interesting and clever way to present the flashbacks and reveal the real story behind the events.

The performances were great as well, as expected by an all star cast.

So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

Big Mouth

Story - really good, I like this type of plot. Cast - played amazing, villains were so annoying and you for sure wished them anything bad possible - and it is a good thing, in the end they are character who we should hate (Remember - characters not actors). Lee Jong Suk was great, how sweet his character was at the beginning and then his change after all what happened, I love how he played. Spoiler - many people point out that Im Yoonah' characters death was unnecessary, it was sad but I think it was important for LJS's character development, it was his breaking point. But yes still sad, especially when they were a really cute couple.

It's was good in starting but ruined in ending /rushed in ending

I really liked drama after started watching after 13-14ep drama started falling , many plots holes like chairman kang's son a character that was not even cast was showered with a lot of mentions, especially in the closing episodes. Even hinting at inmate Tak Kwangyeon taking the fall for him as the psychopath serial killer, how did even Chang ho found all gold and seo papers in last 3mins,
What was going on that secret laboratory? No one bothered to show what's going on

I really disappointed in drama after watching ending

BEST DRAMA...

I love this drama as I like this kind of drama...
you should watch this drama...
Cast was good, I liked what they had to offer, character Park Chang Ho played by Lee Jong-Suk could have been written better. I really liked the character of Choi Do Ha played by Kim Joo-hun, you would really start hating his guts. Overall setting was good. This series is good...
Lim Yoona plays the dedicated wife, Miho, whose unwavering support, along with her lawyer father and his partner, help Chang-ho reveal the truth...
Big Mouth is the perfect example of a classic thriller. The increasingly high ratings for all the episodes indicate just how riveting the show is...
Thank god this is not like any other married couple drama with a weak female lead and Yoona had done an amazing acting...

Full Of angst and keeps you on your toes!

The show was really good overall!
like the ost was incredible, and the amount of angst you experience with each episode is unexplainable.

But in my opinion I think the ending was very rushed.
literally everything went down in the last 10 minutes of the show.
And with that incredible cast and production they had on their hands, I feel like they could've brought way more to the table.
I'm sure with the amount of unanswered questions they had, they could have for sure managed to fit another 1 hour episode in.

Like, whatever happened to hyejin wasn't even revealed to the public, how after being brutally abused by her asshole of a husband, she was then killed, like I know her husband got locked up but with the way she went out you would think they couldve acknowledged her more...am I right?

chairman kang's lost psychotic son?
Big mouse's daughter and the truth behind her death?
More insight into Doha's character and what really goes on in his mind?

They had an incredible cast which have so much to offer if they actually try, but unfortunately for that ending, they didnt let them present to their full potential.

But Overall, this was a really good show and quite enjoyable to watch.
A big shoutout to Lee Jong Sook?🥰✨️
Awesome acting as always💕

Big Mouse, Big Mouth...

well the majority of the drama revolves around revealing truths, and bringing justice
I don't think the drama gives us justice entirely in the end, but that's still a bit satisfying. However, it contains many plotholes and loose ends, which are extremely disappointing.

The drama could be sectioned into two parts: ep 1-13 and ep 14-16; and I thought episodes 1 to 13 were really great, and entertaining. It gives us badassery, corruption (in ingenious ways), characters in survival mode, scandals with big companies, and a portrayal of some of the evil elites.

It was however rushed and some parts didn't make sense. I expected more for a LJS comeback drama, especially regarding his character's personality (which I found had no depth)

I think you will enjoy this drama if you like action dramas that take place in prisons, with many important side characters.

it could have been amazing, but it was just good.

honestly, the drama is really good, but the ending kind of ruins it. the acting and the atmosphere of suspense and mystery were the high point for me, but i think they rushed things too much in the last few episodes. it could have been a ten, and maybe it would be if there was a second season that explained everything, but with so many loose ends, we can only be sad for what Big Mouth could have been.

Deserves a second season tbh...

I literally JUST finished watching this after binging it for the last two days and honestly, I think it's one of the best dramas I've seen this year. But, I do agree with some of the other reviews that said the ending was rushed. The story was fantastic, but I felt like this is a show that should've has at least two more episodes. The last episode felt like it was missing something. It felt like it was just a summary of a last episode because of how quickly it rushed through the ending. Some other things that bugged me where how Doha's death felt too easy. Or how they mentioned the elder's son, but he literally never appeared. This is why I'm hoping that there is a season two. There's a lot of questions I still need answered. I'm not usually one to want a second season of a drama bc most of the time I like how there's just a happy ending and that's it. But the ending of this show is (kind of) a cliffhanger imo. I need to know what happens next.

Good k-drama

This drama shows how people with power and money can manipulate others. I was excited to watch this drama from the day I found out that Lee Jong Suk was the main character in this drama so I had high expectations. I didn't want to be spoiled about anything but at the end of the day thank you TikTok for showing me edits about the ending. When I saw the edit I wanted to smash my phone across the room. When I want to talk about this drama more specifically I would say that It had a rushed ending. It was like 16 minutes until the end and we still didn't see progress. I don't fall asleep while watching something but I fell asleep during one of the episodes which was probably due to burning out from school since I have to be cheerful, if I do the opposite I could get told that I am one walking depression. But that only shows that I felt safe enough to sleep. Thank you for reading this <3
