Compelling Rendition
My Final review take:
This has been 4 very charming episodes.
The way Yoon Ho grabbed-hugged So Hyun in the rain just striking. Palpitating darling moments, indeed.
This drama definitely has that angst, tension, thrills and a-tinge-of-romance which amped up the whole atmosphere on each scenes. And without any brooding bits, just makes it excitingly fascinating.
My first review take:
Why is it compelling? Because:
First. I am hooked with the music. Brit rock rules! Need the OST tracklist stat! Then again with this type of music tracks, it needs a good match. This drama has it, deserving storyline. It tells a story of a troubled girl. And she is even a pickpocket, for crying sake. Looking for her Dad. And just because she has unsettling mother-daughter relationship with an alcoholic Mum that is, does not justify her action for stealing. It still wrong. But, hey. Life is about planning and options with this case.
Second is the Acting. I just loves it when everybody delivers. So okay, the sweetest treats is still about a nice and kind next door boy. Yoon Ho is so adorable, and he’s the kind with Knights honor soul. The lady with vengeance is HeeJin/So Hyun with all of her ocean eleven mind game. Or is it in a way Sherlock Holmes would go the extra miles. Heroin like her and at nineteenth is a character indeed.
Third. The charm.
Attraction is made without hesitation. Confession is within a heartbeat. And that decoy kiss is just a tad of sincerity away. Bullies is tackled. But the suspense retaliation just puts you on the edge. With only 4 episode, this drama has that subtle approach. Let’s wait the next and final two episode...

Binge worthy Teen Angst
"Here's My Plan" is the perfect example of a drama not overstaying its welcome. At four episodes, it is the perfect satisfying length for binging. Not too short but not dragged on for too long. This is a darker teen coming of age drama, although it's much more intriguing than depressing. Think more teen "Fight Club" style, complete with an inner monologue throughout explaining all the motivations behind the crazy twists and turns. This is more than a story about a plan going from bad to worse to much worse. There is a suspenseful element to the story, with a touch of revenge and romance, but mainly it's a confession from a girl dealing with her past traumas in very unconventional ways. I loved that the story was so unpredictable and kept my interest throughout, and the cast was perfect.Leading the cast is Kim Hwan Hee who is brilliant as Lee So Hyun. What made So Hyun so interesting to me is that she isn't very likable, or a "good" person, but you kinda can't help but empathize with her. We see what fuels her choices , so even when those choices frustrated me I still sympathized with her and wanted to see her win in the end. Kim Hwan Hee brings a lot of depth to the character so you can still feel her vulnerability even when she's being cold or calculating. I also felt sadness in her smile which was something mentioned by Yoon Ho who is played so well by Kim Do Hoon. Cho Yoon Ho balances out So Hyun's more anti-social vibe with his genuine concern and caring for others. By the end of episode one I absolutely adored his character. I loved their awkward but realistic chemistry, and he showcased the kind of likability that will make him an ideal romantic lead in the future. Their odd relationship isn't exactly the main plot, so don't expect too much romance, but it definitely fuels how everything progresses.
Every member of the cast really is great! I don't want to mention too much to avoid spoilers but there are no weak links in this story. It's also a pretty small cast which gives you space to feel like you know the characters better. My favorite character by far is the Grandma! She's the real MVP!
Would I watch this again? Yes! Although some of the excitement of wondering what will happen next is gone, the performances are so solid and the story evolves so well that I can definitely see myself watching this again. Once it was over, I was satisfied and didn't feel the urge to rewatch any scene in particular (except maybe one), which is the only reason my rewatch rating isn't high.
The music is good too. I thought the retro and British punk vibe matched the angsty mood of the drama well. There's no memorable ballad or song (besides Girls & Boys), but I did think the music did well in setting the mood of the drama.
Overall, I highly recommend this drama. It's emo, it's about trauma, it's about revenge, it's heartbreaking but the pace and style makes it also... dare I say... fun to watch. If you are looking for cuteness and feel good escapism this is the wrong drama for you. I liked the theme of figuring out what happiness is and whether you can be happy even having to deal with painful circumstances, and I loved the resolution for that. Many will compare this with "Extracuricular", which is similar as far as angst and empathetic young anti-hero leads, but this is not an action thriller, it's a story of self discovery and healing told in a less conventional way. I loved that the main character's journey is messy. Some of the last episode felt a bit too easily resolved, but the story is solid throughout with no unnecessary scenes or side plots. This drama is a good example of how well that can work! It actually gives you time to binge and go out and have an actual life afterwards! Crazy, right?! I can think of a lot of dramas that I would have probably liked so much better if they were 4 episodes instead of 16. I hope they make more shorter dramas as good as this one.

It is a short drama so it's pretty short and can be watched within a half day. It's a nice drama but I think it is not for me.
The misunderstandings in the drama is what keeps it going and I'm really not into that type.

I have fallen in love with the main lead
By the title i do not mean the actor but the character written. I mean i hate all men except this character. I love him so much... He contributed greatly to the fl's character development and really he was so positive, i loved him. The story and acting is great in general and it will give you a dope rush. Set in a for a ride cos u gonna finish it one sitting. It is very interesting. I don't see a reason for giving it a low review and frankly speaking if you don't like this genre and are into slow slice of life and rom coms then i don't recommend this. I appreciate all genres and that is why i see the value of each and if you are into this type then you will not be disappointed for sure. Was this review helpful to you?
Short, dark, left me wanting more
This is a really good slightly dark, depiction of the slightly twisted mind of the broken teen, and while I admit it does have a moment or two of healing (my old nemesis), it idd not take away from the dark humour, the lovely lead and the brilliant use of umbrellas. One of those dramas that gets to the points without waisting to much time, keeps you on your toes and while it is in no way incomplete, I still would mind another episode or two for ore couple time as well as the granny and unnie. I really wanted more of those two, a soin off or second season... anything goes.

Thriller with a Developed Female Character
To be honest, I didn't know what to expect since I found it after seeing an ad on dramacool. But I'm happy that I was unaware of the plot since it made everything mystery and kept me on the edge of my seat. While watching the show the scenes were coherent and it was obvious that the main focus was the female lead (sohyun), why she felt the need to get revenge and the malice she showed to anyone she felt had wronged her. This focus made the show Interesting and stopped there from being any filler stories related to the side characters in the middle because how how much time the show had. There were also moments where she was vulnerable and showcased emotions that weren't malice or anger.
If I have the chance to in the future, I will recommend this one of my friends since I know that it's short and easy to watch.

Glad it was 4 episodes
After about half way through the second episode I thought “it’s a good thing it’s only 4 episodes” because I almost stopped watching. In saying that I can see how hopeless life must felt to this poor kid ever since her Dad died.
I liked how the writers were able to portray how a little bit of kindness can go a long way. I’m glad the ending was so heartwarming.
I was so impressed with Kim Hwan Hee’s performance as Lee So Hyun. The emotions going from indifference to others plight, her anger towards her mother to being kind and thoughtful to Cho Yoon Ho’s grandmother was compelling. She had me in tears on several occasions as well as making me dislike her when she thought it was okay to use these people.

In way whole drama is about one temperate and angry girl which wants went out her frustrations.
revenge, romance drama with young adult FL.This drama tries to show that being adult by law doesnt means you got intellectual maturity since its something which comes with experience rather than with years.

Give this great short drama a try!
Short version: It is definitely worth watching! I really enjoyed it despite its flaws and I watched it all in one sitting. I definitely recommend it if you like stories about characters growing to become better people.More specific things (no spoilers):
The story: I did feel this was one weakness as some things were a little rushed, which is a common problem with short dramas, and maybe just a little unrealistic. If it had been a few episodes longer, I think it would have been even better. BUT it was not nearly as bad as other short dramas I've seen and overall it was a much more emotional and complex story than I was expecting. I very nearly cried while watching it, which is not common for me while watching short dramas, and a big part of that is because of the next section...
The acting: another common issue with short dramas is that the acting tends to be... well, not the best. Which is understandable because the actors are usually young and less experienced, but it can be a bit of a problem. However, the young actors in this (Kim Do Hoon and Kim Hwan Hee) were excellent and I'll be paying attention to their future projects after seeing them in this! They've been in a few things and I bet as they get older, they'll be rising stars in kdramaland. They had great chemistry and the story particularly gave Kim Hwan Hee a chance to shine with some more emotional scenes. Some people might find it a little hard to root for the FL because she's a troubled youth who does some bad things (character development is a big part of the story, so don't worry), but I thought Kim Hwan Hee made the character really easy to sympathize with and I was rooting for things to turn out well for her.
The music: Ok so I don't even know if this drama has its own OSTs, but what it does have is a ton of super cool songs by artists like Blur, Billy Idol, and even Chaka Khan if I'm not mistaken (as well as others)! It felt really unique for a kdrama and really elevated the mood for me. I think even if you don't know the songs, you'll enjoy the music and how it matches the FL a lot.
So in conclusion, while the drama does have a few small flaws, it's a really good short watch and has a lot more good things than bad. I really recommend it! Please don't be put off by the score (7.8 at the time of writing this) and just give it a try!

Four Episodes of Pure Emotion
So, I went into this drama blind, and let me tell you, it was like opening a mystery box with no idea what’s inside. And oh boy, what a ride it turned out to be! I watched the entire series in one sitting because, honestly, I couldn’t tear myself away. It’s that kind of drama that hooks you from the start and doesn’t let go.Despite being only 4 episodes, the narrative is surprisingly emotional and complex. I found myself nearly in tears at multiple points—something that doesn’t happen often with short dramas!
The acting is phenomenal. I was genuinely impressed by Kim Do Hoon and Kim Hwan Hee. They’re both young, but their performances are anything but amateur. Kim Hwan Hee as So Hyun is a revelation. She’s this mix of cold, calculating, and unexpectedly vulnerable. You’ll find yourself sympathizing with her even when she’s making questionable decisions. And Yoon Ho? Absolutely adorable. His kindness and genuine concern for others are so endearing. They have chemistry that makes their interactions feel real and heartfelt.
Despite a few hiccups with some slightly unrealistic moments, "Here's My Plan" is a fantastic watch. It’s short, sweet, and packed with emotional depth and character growth. Don’t let the mediocre score fool you—it’s worth your time. So, if you’re in the mood for a drama that’s a bit of a tear-jerker but also a ride of thrills and revelations, give this one a shot. You might just find yourself rooting for So Hyun and Yoon Ho, and maybe even shedding a few tears along the way.
Trust me, it’s a fun, heartwarming experience you won’t want to miss!
