i think the plot is good, but for a 2×120 series, there are too many cases to tell so sometimes the pace is too fast and misses some details when a case can still be explored further. there are still some unanswered questions and some scenes that have nothing to do with the continuation of the series.
when it comes to acting, everyone is good, but takuya's charisma stands out the most for me. apart from that the scene at the academy looks very real and very fun to watch, the moral message that this series wants to convey is also well conveyed.
