Maybe has an awful start but very good in the end.
Okay. I didn't expected I love this drama. Even the rating is one of the lowest in this summer season, but for me this drama not really bad like everyone said. I understand why so many people dropped this drama because in the first three episodes we all know what happen next. For some reasons, he always failed to kill her right? But after the first three episodes , this drama turn out to be unexpected story and getting interesting. The story getting exciting and there's twist too! Some scenes maybe cringe for some of you, but I can understand because there's 'comedy' genre in this drama. The story maybe a bit serious but I like comedy/jokes in this drama as well.Just look at Shu's silly behaviour enough to make me laughing :') Shu has a naive character, big an empathy, and has a delicate heart make his character really special. Yuko's character also good because she's so firm. Other characters are also quite impressive :D
For chemistry between Taishi & Yuko, everyone said they can't feel their connection and they also lacks of romantic scenes. But for me this is so REAL and MAKE SENSE if we look the situations of these two. They're childhood friends, then they met again but not in a beautiful way. They met again in the situations where the ML must kill her and FL must careful by his kill actions. When we know the behind of story, we still can see they really loves each others. Even they think they have no right to loves him/her because their actions already hurts each others :(
And the last episode wrapped beautifully at least for me. Not too much and not too draggy.
Overall : The rating things can be objective or subjective because it's about everyone taste. Eventho so many dramas have a good ratings because the story itself is actually good. But Boku no Satsui ga Koi wo Shita not really bad like their rating and still worthy to watch! Just give it a chance to this drama, when you guys completed this drama and still not fit with your taste it's okay, I can't force your taste must same as mine, right? :D
So I give my rating 8.5/10 for Boku no Satsui ga Koi wo Shita hehe. Thanks for everyone hardwork for this drama ^^

For starters, this is really a typical J-drama. It has the usual J-drama tropes and Cliches I had seen in most of the j-drama. But in my opinion, what it makes stands above everything else is the characters and the plot.
CHARACTERS
Every character in this show is lovable and rational. I can't really hate the character even the antagonist.
PLOT
I must admit there are a lot of plot holes in this but the main plot or the whole story is really well thought out and really brilliant. I haven't seen this many twists in a J-drama so that's new for me.
And I really like the anime-ish elements in both plot and characters. That element too is well executed in this show.
Bottomline: IT'S REALLY GOOD! definitely recommended
And Vaundy's Hanauranai is so good!

The Kind, Gentle and Naive Man's failed attempt to Kill.
Have you ever been dumbfounded after watching a drama?... not for the reason that it was good but because you were flabbergasted?Up till this point i'm still astounded and fascinated from all the occurences in this drama. So let me make it simple and precise as much as possible.
I don't know where it started but I got this unsettled feeling while watching this show. The entire story is actually good and I like how things gradually escalated because it helps the narrative to move forward logically, but... something about this drama felt awkward to me. The closest I could think of is Nakagawa Taichi's cringey acting (mostly facial expressions). For some reason it bothered me to the point where I was just looking at his face trying to decipher what the hell is the problem with it. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing a handsome face doing such incedible facial distortions?
Anyway, I probably would never be able to categorize which genre this drama is under. I felt like i was watching different plays at once. I mean, It's always been the norm for J-dramas to be quite random and goofy like 100% of the time but I just can't sort out how they blend in action and comical scenes like this and turned it into something weird to watch.
Well aside from all my opinions above this drama did quite well in delivering the context to the audiences as well as incorporating various emotions and situations that shows how regular human being functions. + I love the fun and extra scenes we got at the end.
Story - 9.0, Well created — It may not be the best but I must say that they did great in incorporating good scenes to make the entire story work. It was filled with the right amount of sequences that made it easier to digest and not entirely heavy.
Acting/Cast - 9.0, As mentioned above I felt like Nakagawa Taishi could've worked more on his facial expressions; cause I really find them cringey at times. I understand that his character was written to be like that however something about his acting just stood out like a sore thumb to me. The rest actually did good. Well, I guess I just got some problems with the characters and how they are supposedly acted (by the artists).
Music - 9.5, Music is Good. As always I love the song used whenever there's a romantic scene. The only thing that bothered me was that classic french? song being played whenever Death Prince does his ridiculous antics. They could just rip them off honestly. They did add color to the story but it was weird for me to watch them.
Rewath Value - 8.0, This is one of the dramas that's best to watch only once in a lifetime... Few more times and you'll surely get tired and hate it.
Overall - 8.5, This is a drama that has no particular flaws in terms of story progression and cinematography but kinda fell a bit when it comes to the acting part. Some of them are really cringey to watch. A little more polishing and it could've been better. Overall a good drama.

On hold....
I started watching this because I thought the storyline was interesting but I had a hard time trying to finish up the second episode. I'm putting it on my hold list and I'll think if I want to come back and re-watch the series.Thoughts so far:
I get that he has to become a hitman, kind of the main reason for the story but the one thing that I couldn't stop thinking was "how did he become a hitman without going through proper training?" Don’t you need years to become a professional to "maybe" be an accurate hitman? But as you continue watching, you see this hilarious off-timing when he tries to shoot her.
There was also a reference to karate kid wax on wax off. I couldn’t stop laughing. I knew this was going to be more of a funny series rather than serious. Maybe this is why I'm putting it on hold, I was expecting a sad hitman love story. I don't know what to think about it so far so I'm giving it a 5/10. I hope this rating changes if I ever go back and watch.

Assassination Childhood
Mission accomplie !
