Both female leads end up working in a Ryokan, not by choice and learn the challenges of handling work politics and difficult customers.

Kamo Kyoto e Iku focus more on her career in becoming a ryokan owner, Promise Cinderella focus more on her romantic life while working in a ryokan.

When her uncle comes to her rescue, the assumed stalker happens to be one of his tenants, leaving Miko embarrassed on her first day.

Miko learns that she will be living with five unique adults, including the accused man. Additionally, it turns out that he is Jun Matsunaga, a 29-year-old designer who seems to lose his temper easily. Both MLs are the second sons of a very rich family and the FLs are poor and end up being forced to live in the same house as the ML. Both couples face a personal obstacle to their relationship beyond their difference in social status (age gap vs. family disapproval).

The Ml is high schooler 17 and Fl is 27
Both Male leads are nice
The Female lead is not teacher but in some way is as he fixes the rich brat kid Male lead.
The second Male lead is very capable.

Both male leads are heirs to a traditional business that involves wearing traditional style of clothing. Both have a psycho female character pulling the strings. Both female leads have to navigate working the ins and outs of the business. Promise Cinderella is more of a romantic comedy while Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru is a little bit more of darker revenge.

ML is a bully who undergoes character growth and change after meeting FL who he initially plays games with and bullies, but then slowly falls in love with her. ML is a student in both, but the FL is older in Promise Cinderella.

Nods to the fairytale, poor FL ends up living with rich guy(s) and falls in love with him/one of them. Similar tone and feel.

both the fls are homeless and end up living with the ml who is rich. they’re also both similar in the sense that the fl is older (in atashi no danshi she acts like a mother to some of the boys she lives with) and she earns their respect in the end

Murai is an introverted young high school student with a look that nobody notices. Long hair, curved gait, he is not really what one could call a beauty canon, nor even a person you want to dwell on... He shyly confesses to the girl he loves, the beautiful and sparkling Tanaka, an inveterate otaku who only has eyes for the characters in her games. However, she simply declines his feelings...

The next morning, Murai comes back to school transformed from head to toe. He has dyed and cut his hair and now wears the style of Tanaka's favourite character! Murai will do everything to seduce her and attract her attention!
