Feels unfinished
I liked this short film, it has an interesting story line. A group of gay friends and one of them is very popular which all the other guys flock too while another is extremely jealous of his popularity that he curses him with a ghost. Only this backfires and the two (ghost and human) fall in love which only makes the jealous friend more determined. There's a pretty raunchy sex scene and some worthy acting. But it almost feels like a teaser to more in depth story. I think that's where the story falls flat because we don't know why this guy is so jealous in the first place, his motivation feels weak, although he comes off as unstable and manic so maybe he doesn't need a deeper motive. But why is this ghost beholden to him. How he came to have this knowledge of summoning ghosts/devils etc. Just little unanswered questions that would have strengthened the story. Others have commented about the story being scary, I don't know what most peoples tolerance for horror is but this felt fairly tame to me. I enjoyed it and it has much promise, I just wish there was more. Congrats cast and crew, well done all round. Was this review helpful to you?
so unique! i'm pleasantly surprised
since the movie was only 30 mins long the story was very compressed, I think it would've been a lot better as a full-length movie with more detail because it’s such an interesting plot idea. i still enjoyed it and this movie is just a bit of fun isn’t it, not to be taken too seriously and they did a really good job too. I loved how they brought in a different genre (horror) rather than just the classic romance bl. since it was so short I definitely recommend watching it, you’re not going to lose anything and it's hard to get bored mid-way through since it's only 30 mins and things kept happening. I found myself feeling bad for the characters, laughing along and really getting into it too.Was this review helpful to you?
Love at first F***
He f*** a ghost and he liked it...This is the very short story of the selfish guy who wanted to own another guys body and the sweet kind guy whos body the selfish guy wanted to own + the very fine ghost who was caught between them.
Mr Selfish most probably lonely, two faced hottie acted all kind and all but is actually dark and evil deep inside as he puts a curse on the man he wants to own... And well he does that part really well he does seem sweet, we do get the feeling that mr sweetheart really trusts him and likes him as a friend and he does not come off as evil in anyway. He uses this position to curse him, however the details of the curse are kind of foggy and not very well executed so adding 10 minutes or so to clarify the curse part would have been good.
It is however clear that the curse backfired as it seems to have become love at first f*** for the ghost and everybody's sweetheart instead of whatever mr evil was aiming for... As there is little dialog between mr. ghost and mr. sweetheart most of their screen-time together is very naked and very sexual...
I am not going to say that this short film is tastefully made, good or the type to bring out the thirst in you. It is more of the funny type of sexual content and pretty entertaining at times as well as slightly odd, dark (literately) and different than what I have seen before.
Definitely an indecent watch...

A Short Horror BL Movie
Content Warnings: it's in the horror genre so there are a few jump scares/gory make up (as someone who doesn't like horror I found it okay to watch but not right before going to sleep)Overall: not my favorite short from Strongberry, but an interesting entry in the horror genre
What I Liked
- tried to do something different and incorporate the horror genre
- the acting and production value was fine
- a very nice nsfw scene
- cameo from the actor in Some More
Room For Improvement
- it was rushed/choppy especially with the ending, definitely could have used a longer run time

There are many good aspects of it. It’s rather unpredictable - it has quite a few twists and turns that all felt understandable (at least to the extent a short length allowed). I also appreciate when at the beginning the built up tension is broken by a joke/one liner from a new character on screen. Delivering scares each time the tension is high is not a way to go, because the viewers start to know what to expect. That’s why I appreciate when movies take a step back from time to time.
Drowned out sounds and slow motion used to indicate the distorted perception and fixation on a specific situation by a character? Love it. It’s always effective and I wish more movies used it.
The acting went from good to decent for a smaller production like this. I’m not the biggest fan of Ha Joon’s character, and weirdly I enjoyed a bit twisted Min Woo more.
All that said, I appreciate the movie from the objective standpoint, but I did not quite vibe with it subjectively.

Being Cursed Seems Quite Steamy
Okay so I wish this was longer first off. This was such an interesting concept and I'm lowkey angry that it was reduced down to such a shortened story. Like please fund this like a K-Drama would! Everyone in this was solid. This was also super steamy so be prepared for that lol. Definitely give this some love and maybe someday in the future there will be more added onto it in a series format or lengthened film. That tends to garner more attention from studios or funders when an outpour of support is targeted towards a certain project! Was this review helpful to you?

What the actuall butt
Honestly...this was so funny.Don't get me wrong: I think the story could be quite interesting, only if it wasn't squished into 30 minutes. It has great potentional value for a BL series - something like Peach of time, but horror.
My main issue with the storyline is that Minwoo hasn't got a single understandable reason to curse Hajun. Minwoo was portrayed a bit manic and crazy, but I didn't get his intention and reason to do the voodoo sh*t to Hajun. Also we have no idea how did Minwoo get into voodoo or whatever witchcraft he is into.
The relationship between the ghost and Hajun is basically only sexual. They make it look like they fell in love, but it is nowhere to be based on in the film. I can't even tell that they had any feelings towards eachother. The sexual scene was...something else tho. It is veeeery veeeeeeeery in close ups. The butt detail scene actually made me laugh out loud. It was so close up!
I feel like this would fit very well into a whole series, rather than an amateur short film. The characters didn't get enough time to show what they're really like, the whole reason behind Minwoo cursing Hajun is nonexistent basically and the love between Hajun and the ghost is nowhere to be found.
Overall it could be really fun to watch while you're drunk and with friends, it has a potential in this way.
I would not watch it sober again tho :D

Handsome Hajun and his gang of secret admirers...
It did what it was supposed to do and that is scare me haha. The plotline was interesting and the acting was also great. I enjoyed it, jumpscares and all. The plot twist I wouldn't have ever guessed but glad I didnt, made it more interesting to watch. Sex scene felt natural to me, no awkwardness as I watched, props to the actors for the full commitment. As usual with strongberry content, my only compliant is the length. Left me wanting more as always haha but truly never disappoint. Great job to everyone. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm not going to spoil it to you guys so I'll just say that I was sooo shocked by one scene :O like, it's not something you would expect from a Korean BL :O so y'all better prepare yourselves 😂 it literally made me watch that scene with my mouth open lol
Characters in this movie 🤔 they were okay, since it's not a full-lenght movie we can't expect too much, actors did a relatively good job for their roles in the short time they had!

Friendship
Well if you're looking for a reason to not have friends, have I got the drama for you!In true Korean BL fashion, this drama is short but based on the plot I'd be pretty happy with a legit series/movie. I felt a LOT of detail got crammed together and definitely left out but it's worth the watch if you want a quick suspense scare, intense s*x scene or even a plot that isn't cliché and overused. Idk if this is a drama I'd recommend (considering it's lack of storyline) but don't dismiss it just because it's short. I didn't get a campy vibe at all but it did give me ideas on the quickest way to get furniture out of my house lmao
Enjoy...

Another good short from Strongberry
Strongberry short films are always worth watching, they generally have great casts and good stories that fit well within the sort film format. This cast is good, and the story is interesting. I think the only weakness is that the way the scenes are shot, it's not always really clear what is happening, not with the major storyline but with the details that surround it.
But even still it's definitely worth watching. The actors are very cute and the scenes between Hajun and the spirit run from poignant to steamy. It is available on GaGaOOLaLa.

What?
The actors were pretty hot in my opinion, and their acting was good, i.e. the ghost was creepy, and the jealous friend gave me chills. The story was unique and a good plot idea, but it was maybe a bit too short to actually round out the storyline. The music was also fitting, creepy/silly. I normally enjoy a good steamy scene, but it was kind of awkward, maybe because the story was moving so fast so it was like creepy ghost one second and round cheeks the next.Though I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching it, still I would never rewatch it, because why?
