Oh dear...*facepalm*
ENDING REVIEW after completing the season = There is just no way this could get a second season it really is too much of a colossal mess, those wasted hours of my life gone. So many missed opportunities with the plot and characters that I actually want to slap the director, editor and writers. Sometimes I wondered if it was just poorly subtitled or the script was just THAT bad and most of the time I felt insulted that they treated the audience like we were stupid. I honestly don't know what they were thinking. It will be the king of the Golden Raspberries (worst) of BL Thai series. A lesson on what NOT to do, to force every up and coming film maker to watch while tied to a chair would be a good use of its rewatch value. I know I'm being mean but I'm sorry it deserves it.ORIGINAL REVIEW after watching the first 7 eps = I don't completely hate it as I'm still foolish enough to continue watching it. The very few things it does have going for it, is a strong soundtrack and the chemistry/acting of the two male lead actors Pakoo Athiwat as Nut and Tawan Kanachot Worachottrakul as Satha. Its not a particularly original story, another Thai school set melodrama because there aren't a hundred of those. Two guys meet in college and of course they clash at first. In this case the popular senior (Satha) is actually younger then the freshman (Nut). I'm guessing they will fall in love but I'm thinking Satha who has never had feelings for a guy before is going to turn his back on Nut, before 'seeing the light'. There is also an Ex boyfriend of Nut's who of course will probably be the catalyst that brings the two leads back together to wrap up the ending in a nice pretty bow. There are of course a side couple in Nut's two male friends who I'm guessing from the trailer will end up together, OMG I couldn't care less they are that annoying. I find myself cringing quite often through each episode between the horrible dialogue and the over use of cliches that make me want to facepalm so often it may leave actual bruises by the time I reach the end of the series. The worst is the absolute ridiculousness of having the side stories into the lives of the teachers who act more childish then the actual students, the editor definitely should have cut them out, I Fast Forward through this mind-numbing dullness because I feel embarrassed for these actors. I'm hanging in there but I don't have much hope for improvement. All I can say is if you are desperate for BL you will watch this for the 2 lead actors and hopefully skim through the rest. You have been warned.

Cliffhangers galore
Probably the one thing that I hated and loved from the first season the episode cliffhangers, especially now as I wait for the finale. Really love this series it gets its hooks in you and won't leave, you'll dream about this show and the things that aren't quite explored. Love all the cast, they are all wonderful the collection of characters, yay and hugs to those writers they need accolades galore. This will move you and have you on the edge, definitely binge worthy series every episode you won't want to sleep because each mini cliffhanger will drive you insane. I really hope there's a third season I think there's plenty of material to expand upon. Praise to the actors and the crew, well done another brilliant season. Was this review helpful to you?
Has you on the edge of your seat.
Its places you into the action right from the beginning and takes you on a journey that is full tilt from start to finish. I was lucky to see this in a cinema in New Zealand so if you can see it on the big screen I recommend you do so, its certainly just that much more immersive and impressive surrounded by a sea of strangers. There's some powerhouse performances from all the leads, I love Lee Do Hyun, so him and the subject matter was what drew me to the film. I think for me the only downside was this story seems like it could have been fleshed out more in a series rather then a movie, it felt like it was wrapped up too quickly for me at least. They hinted at the background of the main characters but you never felt completely invested in the horror they were facing because you weren't given enough information about them. The soundtrack is masterful and the cinematography sublime. I still very much recommend this film. Was this review helpful to you?

Feels unfinished
I liked this short film, it has an interesting story line. A group of gay friends and one of them is very popular which all the other guys flock too while another is extremely jealous of his popularity that he curses him with a ghost. Only this backfires and the two (ghost and human) fall in love which only makes the jealous friend more determined. There's a pretty raunchy sex scene and some worthy acting. But it almost feels like a teaser to more in depth story. I think that's where the story falls flat because we don't know why this guy is so jealous in the first place, his motivation feels weak, although he comes off as unstable and manic so maybe he doesn't need a deeper motive. But why is this ghost beholden to him. How he came to have this knowledge of summoning ghosts/devils etc. Just little unanswered questions that would have strengthened the story. Others have commented about the story being scary, I don't know what most peoples tolerance for horror is but this felt fairly tame to me. I enjoyed it and it has much promise, I just wish there was more. Congrats cast and crew, well done all round. Was this review helpful to you?
kinda strange but cool in an odd ball way.
Its only been two episodes so obviously things can change, but its quirky and interesting, a little cheesy but that's okay and chock full of crazy off the wall characters. I have no idea where this is going other than I guess the two will solve crimes together, we've really only been introduced to the leads who of course do not like each other at all at the moment. Its strange and that's a big tick for me. I'm enjoying the zaniness of it and all the other characters that surround these two are just as clearly nuts. I'll come back and redo this review further into the story. I'd definitely recommend this right now. Oh episode two when MFL is basically drooling over convenience store guy, her character is supposed to be mid thirties I found that very cringe but thats all i've got to whinge about right now. Why I labelled the music so low is honestly it hasn't stood out for me, not that its bad. It does feel a little dated apart from the intro music by Joo-heon from Monsta X which I really like even if it doesn't seem like it matches the series but is still appealing because of exactly that, it feels like a weird mismatch..Ending review OMG its 'finished' and it was whacka doodle right up till the very last second. This show was actually a blast to watch, but if you are a judgemental person and enjoy a well thought out plot, you will loathe this with every fibre of your being... It has serious elements like a serial killer running rampant through a town, cheating husbands, abusive grandfathers. It has some pretty eye wateringly dumb writing to further the plot bunny, just go with the flow and don't think about the ridiculousness of it all, just keep chugging along and not wonder how the ML's have survived yet another bizarre plot twist. Its meant to be weird and crazy, It can't possibly be by accident , it has to be by design right? . I can't say Ive ever watched a Korean show like it, its kinda insane and I think this series will stick in my brain for a very long time to come.

Light and fluffy like a warm hug.
This isn't terribly dramatic , its mostly light fluffy silliness that will just have you grinning right up till the very end. I'm especially attracted to this Japanese slapstick comedy, its a loud kind of ridiculous humour that is so infectious and that's why this series is exactly my cup of tea.I'm sure it's not for everyone, but I really loved this. Its one of those relaxing easy series to watch in one sitting that just makes you think that the world isn't so bad after all. The whole cast was outstanding

Eye rolling galore...
Oh look it seemed like it might be fun , I gave it a go but 4 episodes in and I just want all these whiny brats to die, please just end my suffering and kill them all off already.. Maybe I have to be a teenager to appreciate this story. I can forgive that they are supposed to be teenagers thrown into a war with an alien species and they are just innocent little kiddies but really they have been living with these things floating above them for a year and they are all falling apart when the aliens finally make themselves known and start eating the humans. Honestly if my eyebrows raised any higher they would disappear into my hairline. The sheer dumbness of this group is astounding, baffling and just f-ing annoying personally, not to mention the so called adults of this series and their ineptitude. If I shouted at my computer screen any longer i'd be hoarse,my forehead has keyboard indents in it from every time a character did something mind-numbingly stupid. I cannot connect with any of these characters and I simply don't careless about any of them. Good luck to those sticking it out for part 2, I certainly won't be. Give me more of "Sweet Home or "All of Us are Dead" those were so much better. Was this review helpful to you?

Emotional wringer
For me this just came out on Netflix in my country so I thought initially that it was new when in fact its 2+ years old. Oh I binged this whole thing over a weekend basically. I was hooked from episode 1. I love love love big ensemble casts with an interesting story and fascinating characters give me this over any straight romance any day of the week. Those final episodes had me crying so hard I actually ran out of tissues and its open ended because I hear season 2 is on its way, maybe that's why it ended up on Netflix . It was really stunning and in many ways I think the acting transcended the story. Don't get me wrong it was amazing from start to finish but the acting really was superb. Was this review helpful to you?
cutest feel good series ever
I really enjoyed this sweet little series. Japanese are great film makers the atmosphere is for me that draws me into their particular style . Lovely characters and a positive, realistic spin on two teenage boys falling in love. Its definitely something special, The acting is wonderful from everyone and its so heartfelt. The pace is slower but this just enhances the overall tension, making it that more enjoyable to watch.I now need to watch the movie (His) which is kind of a sequel if not a rewriting of the same story with different actors.

So good, what else is there to add.
I'm not familiar with any of the main actors past work but I'm a new fan to this entire cast they are all superb. It really is wonderful not just the acting but the story within the series. There's the overarching themes of love and acceptance, family in all its forms but then each week is a new insight into what it is to be human by following whatever case Attorney Young Woo and her fellow co workers are fighting for that particular week. I love that it challenges some of those things we take for granted, it's not afraid to tackle some of societies prejudices without ramming it down our throat. It makes you think and cry and laugh, get angry and I agree with all of life's uncertainties and sadness that we sometimes need just fluff in our tv watching diets but it its also nice to be reminded that not everything is so black and white. This has been a pleasure and a joy to watch each week and thank you creators and artists of all kinds who came together for this project, thank you very much.

Cute Short
This is a very sweet short film about love at first sight. The actors are very cute and there's no dialogue so the story is told just with their expressions. I'd say the only thing that ruins the rhythm of the film is the totally unnecessary song thrown into the middle of the story with a supposed cupid weaving her magic, its pretty tragic and dates this short which isn't good. That the two are gay is more suggested as I imagine in 2008 Korean gay films were few and far between. It would have been interesting to have seen this story expanded upon so that we could see the backstory of the two leads. One a member of a group of bullies , the other a love of photography. They introduced them but never fully utilized their potential.

Rushed but sweet
I actually really liked this Japanese BL, I find the humour so interesting. It doesn't take itself too seriously and theirs no real dramas to overcome like some BL's that lay on the melodrama so thick that it can be emotionally exhausting to slog through . The actors are cute and all the cast is having alot of fun. I hear a sequel is coming so Yay!! Oh the Hikawa Tooru pouting is the silliest cutest thing ever. All in all its a very positive four part series where the support cast are very accepting of the main couple, awesome to see this. Was this review helpful to you?

Oh crap its so sad i want cry, its that ridiculous
I honestly don't know why I'm still watching this, its so boring and just bad, like mind numbingly awful it just makes me sad.Fast forward through most of it, if you feel you have to put yourself through the torture. The two leads have very little chemistry but its the story and direction that really is the main reason its so dreadful. Possibility of a romance between the nephew and the bodyguard is more interesting than the main couple, zero steam between them. Don't waste your time on this, run i tell you, run in the opposite direction.

Not sure about this one...
Four episodes in and the only reason I think I'm still watching it is the chemistry between Akk and Theo (Force/Book) I'm finding the story about looking for Enchante amongst the 4 popular boys at the university rather meh!. I'm sorry but why is Theo so obsessed in knowing, its not like he wrote freaking sonnets, couple of sentences and he's hooked. I'm hoping things are going to get more interesting, but so far its not drawing me in much. If it wasn't for the seemingly effortless back and forward dialogue and playfulness of Force and Book, I probably wouldn't bother with this series. I really like the actresses who play Akk's sisters, they are great fun. Must admit the 4 actors playing the would be 'enchante's' haven't impressed me so far other than them all being pretty actors. But...but they haven't had a chance to shine so far, so we'll see. Phupha character (not actor) is the least interesting so far, I don't really like his slight aggressiveness when it comes to Theo, getting stalker vibes big time. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm rewriting my initial review. I'm sorry i'm really having a hard time liking this series. I have watched the original years ago and although its expanded on that, it is still the same story. I'm bored so bored and if it wasn't for the lovely chemistry of Yin and War I don't know that i'd bother. Theres just not enough going on in this story to warrant giving it this many episodes. I'm still watching it but I think it might just be to see how it all plays out to the end. Instead of rehashing this it would have been nice to see the actors in something more substantial.
