After the sacred scripts of Tammo are stolen from Shaolin, a young girl is taught 18 forms of Shaolin Kung Fu to enable her to venture outside the temple and recover all the volumes. Accompanied by the ten Shaolin masters, the girl must endure multiple furious battles to restore the sacred texts to the temple. Yikes! This movie is terrible. Not at all a good kung fu movie. Probably the worst martial arts film I've ever seen. The story and/or concept is excellent but the execution is beyond ridiculous. I mean twenty-foot-long arms, 30-foot-long legs and they had the nerve to have a fight scene with this mess. It's as comical as it sounds. Something about the dubbing and sound fx were awful too. Polly Shang Kuan was one of the biggest female stars of 60's and 70s Kung Fu movies and this did not do her justice. 5/14/23
