Reviews
Sweet
This was unexpectedly delightful. I honestly believe it was well written. The pace was very slow but there were god elements. It gave a nostalgic vibe.Synopsis was pretty accurate. I loved how it portrayed the ML first innocent love and how he grew into a man and really recognized what he needed and wanted. Not a big fan of the family but there were not the worst I’ve seen. It wa s realistic and understandable. If you’re into the hometown vibe you’ll enjoy it. What I enjoyed most was how ML started at the bottom and worked his way up to a successful person. The friendships were a bit suspect but it was okay. What I disliked what the secret that seemed to go on forever. Later in the series you don’t see the main couple as much which was a total let down.
Overall good series.

Yes, domineering MIL but it turned out good!
It was long but was not that bad. Acting was good. Story was good. Yes, it had a mother-in-law who was controlling but it turned out good. You would have to watch it for yourself.Storyline - was not bad. It had a lot of heart and a lot of real life feel to it. The mother-in-law came around and I absolutely LOVED how the son and daughter-in-law handled her. They were not rude but they did deal with her with wisdom.
At first I did want to punch the ML. He never put the one he truly loved first. His friend (who was a girl and she was in love with him but he was never in love with her) took the front seat in his life a few times. I wanted to smack him. I loved how his family came around to the FL and supported her when he went off to help the “friend” recover from her bad accident. It turned out great. Just watch it once to get your own opinion.
Acting/Cast - the FL was phenomenal! When the ML found out the boy of the FL was really his (he thought the boy was another man’s child) and took it out on her… that scene was powerful! I loved that she stood up to him and let him know how stupid he was and how she felt waiting for him (basically waited for him to man up) all those years to come back to her. She struggled yet still loved him and supported him and did an amazing job raising their son. It was really well done. She was amazing. The cast was great even the mother-in-law.
Rewatch - it depends. I am not one to get into the really long 40+ episode dramas. But I might watch this again. Honestly if I do it would be to see the FL and the scene I mentioned above.
