Decent horror film with a close-ended plot for beginners
I saw this movie on Netflix' Top 10 for more than a week now so I have decided to give it a try. Horror is not really a go-to on my watchlist but for a change I have picked this one.For starters, the horror on this movie is at least 3 out of 10 so for horror seekers looking for the screams and heart racing, this might not be your cup of tea.
The story is definitely a slowburn. A lot of scenes doesn't makes sense and the way they reacted to the things happening around them. Acting is barely tolerable but still decent. If you watch it, you'll get what I mean.
What I liked on this movie though is that most of the questions about the main plot has been answered. I really like movies that gives me peace of mind after I watch them so it kind of get better for me towards the end. The revelations are just mind blowing. It was definitely unexpected.
If you just want a light horror to watch, I recommend this. This can be a good horror for a beginner. For me the story is decent enough for this to be worth the watch.

Wasted my 2 hours. More than horror it's comedy because of worst CGI and poor acting.
I thought it was similar to The visit movie then it had grudge thing.This movie is all about NOBODY CARES ABOUT ANYTHING.
1. The sister was not worried at all about her videos getting leaked that doesn't happen in real world.
2. No one cared about brother's health throughout the movie.
3. No one went to search for missing cat but definitely they were worrying about it. (That makes no sense)
4. The children didn't even visit their sick mother in the hospital.
5. The pervert guy didn't even came looking for his lost phone and never appeared again in the movie again.
6. The grandparents were that easily forgiven or what was that?? They could have easily reveal the truth about their daughter being the killer but no that bad twist needs to be revealed at the end. For thrill, I guess.

Great Thai suspense
I found the story line very interesting. Overall the storyline was really awesome that adds the factor of consciousness for the audiences. The suspense are really awesome that feeds the mind and curiosity of the audience to watch till the end. The storyline puts questions to your mind that will keep your eye on the watch till the end and you'll definitely be surprise by the plot of the story. Also the acting of the casts add up pleasure to the audience. The two oldies are very well on portraying the roles that they portrayed. They are very awesome in switching their emotions and giving us the pleasure that we need in watching horror-suspense drama. The truth always follows you around
With 20mins left I was all but ready shitting on the film, and much regret for not listening to the comments and reviews. However I'm a sucker for plot twists I don't see coming, that last last narrative change had my mouth wide open, I would recommend the suffering just for that.Story is simple and goes on throughout the film. grandparents house; weird hole; reveals truth that has been kept hidden; the whole truth shows how the truth always has a way in revealing in finding and revealing itself. Also shows the toxic households and relationships in asian families.
CGI effects we're laughable and felt like was made for a child, I'm disrespected at the lack of effort the makers make. Music also was forgettable, either screaming or some random sound that filmmakers need to know is overused and doesn't work on horror films.
Acting was worse, they're better off stage acting with the amount of overacting they do, along with this is their awkward expressions that makes you unemotionally invested in them. I can't blame the stars too much since the script felt like equally a mess.
there's too much unnecessary characters taking screentime, to have no closure and never appear in the film again again again. We should never even have left the 2 main settings, since practically everything else was useless, would have resulted in a much more cohesive film.
It build a good atmosphere at the start just for it to fall short, because the same thing happens over and over and over and over. It makes a sound, they look at the hole, scared, decided not to look again, makes another sound, looks again. I was watching this stuck in heavy traffic and I really should have had that extra sleep instead.
Ending was puzzling more than anything, wasn't as satisfying as I expected. We're they intending to make a second film or just that? Either way not the most ideal conclusion to the film.

What’s the plot? Two teens have to live with their grandparents for a short period of time, but why does the old couple keep acting bizarre? All we need to add is a strange hole in a wall and a few other random plot aspects like: cheerleading, bullying, harassment, ghosts, wormhole theory, revenge of the grandpa. Most of it felt like an unnecessary filler.
Speaking of the hole, every scene that presented what’s inside was just laughably bad. The effects and styling was just ridiculous. Realistically speaking, they should have never shown the viewers what’s in it, and create a spooky atmosphere around the feeling of the unknown.
The dialogues are probably the thing that annoyed me the most. Am I an idiot? Did they truly have to explain every little detail to me through them? It was not hard to figure out, so by the point the characters were discussing it, I as a viewer was already aware of the situation they were talking about…
For the acting, not exactly convincing. For the younger cast it seemed like a lack of skill. Not as easy to judge the older actors. Maybe it was hard to build a solid performance on a script like that?
Overall, way too long for a story like this. Some plotlines were not needed and did not bring much to the story at all. It had its moments, and I cannot say I dislike every minute of it, but these few scenes that were interesting were not worth watching the whole 2 hour movie.

A ideia da série é mostrar Segredos de Família
Algumas coisas que vão acontecendo passam pela nossa cabeça que seja isso mesmo, outras são plots realmente surpreendentes, o que não falta é plot nessa trama!Você sabe que tem algo muito errado quando a mãe sofre o acidente e aparece o avô para ajudar os netos sem que eles nem soubessem que tinham avós vivos. Ninguém esconde os pais a menos que aja um segredo enorme de família. Essa é a primeira pista.
Mas com a mãe em coma, os irmãos vão morar com os avós. Através de um buraco na parede eles passam a ter visões de uma menina fantasma. E a trama foca na luta deles para buscar a verdade sobre essa menina. Só que essa família não tem poucos segredos!
Achei bem interessante, o foco não é no terror em si e mto mais no suspense!
