This is an honest review.

This K-BL is underrated!!!! This is a gem! It shouldn't be wasted. It literally needs a recognition and standing ovation!!The story was unique, the ost was good especially "Letter of Apology". The cast's visual is insane. I can say this is a topnotch on my lists. My only concern is that the climax should be more intense. I love there clingy scenes, no need for a lot of kissing scenes. The spotlight kissing scene was passionate I loved it!!

Tho, Eight Sense is my favorite by far. I'll be putting this on my 4th spot.

left me speechless..

sounds crazy but this is the absolute best bl kdrama i have ever watched. at first i wasn’t sure if i was going to like but man was i wrong.

the entire series felt like a dream, yet made me feel so many emotions (it was a literal rollercoaster). there were so many times were i would pause everything, get off my phone, and reanalyze what had happened. the moments were so toe curling, knuckle biting, teeth clenching that i had to rewind every 5 seconds because i couldn’t get enough of it lol.

now let’s talk about CHEMISTRY. girl when i tell u… their chemistry is what really topped it off for me. their acting was so effortlessly amazing that it looked almost REAL. i enjoyed their performance and i honestly think they make a good match.

i absolutely loved both boys so much but hyunwoo aaaa he stole my heart my leo twin baby girl star candy LOVE him <3333 anyways the show was great. i really hope they make a season 2! thanks byeee

FINALLY! An exceptional BL

This is by far one of the best BLs of the year. It tells a story, extensively and completely, with just enough angst in its entrails to make it entertaining but does not control the narrative to the point it overwhelms it. That is hard to do as usually the disquietude becomes center stage. What takes center stage here? Nothing but the love relationship and in a good way.
However, overall, this is an exceptional BL. Soft. Gentle. Sweet. Relatable. Charming. And broke the mold of your standard Korean Bls in when it focused on communication and establishing an adult-like GAY relationship. More importantly, not being afraid to do so.
You can read my full review of this extraordinary BL at BLBliss.com.

Another hit by the director Adorable!!!!

HELP! ADORABLE! Thank you to the cast. You made this so seamless and natural to watch. I was right there with the characters all the way. They did so well! Great DIRECTOR! I especially like you using idol plot. I am sure there are many hoping the next generation can have this. Awesome lighting, Loved the story. Gorgeous scenery (beautiful) and sound. Awesome music. Subscribed! This is a great example that love is love. Let them grow, rely on one another, and love each other. Love Wins! This is a binge worthy of your time. Have an open mind stream!!!

Made my heart sing and my soul do a happy little jig

I adore this show to pieces. Everything about it is truly excellent, from the writing, to the cinematography, to the music.
It was apparently produced by the same team behind Blueming and it absolutely shows.
There is so much queer love, joy, and authenticity woven through the entire story, it completely knocked me flat.

The characters are all incredibly charming and well written. The supporting characters are well-rounded and unique and each contribute to the story in meaningful ways. Even the main antagonist is portrayed as a complex, multi-faceted human being whose motivations and actions are logical, even understandable to a certain degree.

The show also excels at portraying intimacy. The relationship between the main characters is perfectly, messily, joyfully real. Rarely have I seen (queer) friendship portrayed so lovingly and realistically, with so much open affection and casual physical closeness. This series really says "Cuddle your homies, tell them you love them." and it is absolutely right about that.
The slow progression from deep friendship to a more romantic relationship is flawlessly paced and the show makes a point of exploring the often blurry lines between different types of love and how those distinctions can both be almost completely unnecessary and deeply needed at the same time.
All of this is perfectly underscored by the editing and cinematography, whose expertly used close-ups and warmly-coloured static shots enhance the impact of each emotional scene tenfold.

So if you want a show full of queer complexity and subtlety, fantastic music, charming humour, and absolutely filled to the brim with joy and love in all its different forms, then this series is perfect for you. I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough.

I thought I would like it a lot, I ended up liking it even more than that

I saw snippets of this drama here and there on the Internet before I was finally able to watch it, but the little I saw was already pretty intriguing and I was ready to enjoy myself. What I wasn't expecting was me falling in love with it.

There is something very charming about this story, and I believe it revolves around genuine feelings of love mixed with a hint of secrecy. The plot develops quietly and while it doesn't have much in terms of suspensful and thrilling moments, it captured my heart with the character dynamics and the perfect pacing of the events.
The main character, Baram, is open and honest when singing as much as he is secretive about his true feelings in any other moment, and seeing his emotional journey as it develops quietly inside of him was just wonderful. His friendship with Hantae has an unconventional beginning and Hantae himself seems to be his polar opposite: he always seems straightforward with his feelings and his ideas, always ready to take action and go forward. These two protagonists suit each other so well that their chemistry exploded like fireworks from the very beginning to the very end.
I loved the production quality of this drama a lot more than I thought I would as well. Every set and every outfit loos so pretty, not to mention the camera angles.
Special mention to the OST, which was just amazing. It might sound like a given since this drama revolves around music a lot, but the songs really stand out a lot.

This one for me goes hand in hand with Semantic Error in terms of Korean BL dramas that are just perfect in my eyes. I really recommend this drama to whoever would like to see a sweet romance develop slowly but steadily!

Tooth-rotting in the best possible way

It was so cute ?? I love a good romance show, the actors had really good chemistry and the friends to lovers was very well done. the only things that I didn't like were: the first song was a bit overplayed, and the second arc (miscommunication) was unnecessary in my opinion, I genuinely thought Hantae has fallen for Baram first, so him only realizing that he liked his best friend AFTER he confessed to him seemed a bit out of character, but it was still very cute.

I looove a fluffy, tooth-rotting romance show, so I100% recommend this series if that's what you're looking for.

MUSIC DEFINE LOVE (BL VERSION)

Perhaps the greatest thing to have ever existed in the world is music.
Potentially great. I like the cast, the plot, and the music (lyrically).

Han Ba Ram, the primary character, can only become frustrated by his own character growth. I'm irritated. It's important for growing singer-songwriters to stand up for their own work. In terms of plagiarism, the song's background and its lyrics differ.

It is not appropriate for Sangin to borrow Han Ba Ram's song just because he made a song while thinking about Sangin. For Ba Ram's song, he received not a single songwriting credit.

Though it defies logic, I can understand Ba Ram's decision to overlook the plagiarism incident that occurred between them. In any case, I'm happy that Ba Ram's perspective has altered as a result of Han Tae's ability to persuade him to act morally and recognize that the Chasing Wind are his family.

Great concept, great cast, great series
A must-watch for every BL fan

QUITE PREDICTABLE STORY BUT STILL VERY GOOD ONE

First of all, I am so glad for the improvement of KBL ! like , the run time goes longer as time goes on, I assume after a year s maybe we can finally have a 16 episode 1hr+ runtime KBL !
About this drama, I just loved how it was made, and I loved how it is finished, it is dramatic, feel good, musical BL that gives a good vibe.
About Baram, I like his cuteness and being timid, I can relate with so many things about him , like on how he thinks about things, I just hated that he is too worried about many things and he having a too weak character, he is too fragile, specially when it comes to his first love, I mean, He shouldn't have let the teacher treat him that way just because he was his first love, but in the other hand, on a character like that, makes people want to take care of him
Han Tae is such a walking green flag! , He is childish and I like it I wish I could also have someone like him in my life .. I haven't seen anything I dislike about him, He and Baram is a perfect match !
The story is quite predictable, like on every Kdrama or BL ,There is always an Ex Lover or crush that will affect the main lead's present, the stealing of song part is predictable for me also because I have seen many Idol or musical drama that has the same plot, but nevertheless, It still has a unique thing in it, predictable but different in short.
This drama got me on the part where the couple are able to enjoy themselves together, it made me flutter so much ! and I am so jealous
I gave a # 8 rating because the story is complete, not too rushed, no idle moments, I can say it is worth watching, and also the fact that I felt angry to Barams first love and how Baram became fragile about it, it is is the sign that the thing that this drama wants to elaborate on the viewers are effective, because I felt it !
This is a Romance Drama KBL, I surely can say it is worth the watch, one of the most beautiful KBL for me

Grows on you

Typically I wouldn't watch such a simple drama but it kinda grew on me. I even dropped it the first time when I watched it and just picked it up again cause I was bored and I am glad I did. Even though the plot is simple, it was executed pretty well. No unnecessary miscommunication, no dragging and no over dramatic scenes. It was simple and stick to the plot. The acting was done really well. I had my doubts in the first episode but as it progress I realized they were actually good actors and executed their emotions properly. Most of the times I find it cringe when they act cute but Baram actually was pretty cute. Now the music definitely deserve a round of applause. It was so freaking good. Overall it is good. May take some times but it grows on you.

The wind that blows me into your love

A happy-to-cried-with kind of drama. For subjective reasoning, they literally made me into tears ever since the pilot episode. I just love it when I find myself indulging in a series that talks about the romance between two individuals with sincerity and a little bit of tension roaming between them. The main couple’s love story may have taken too slow to progress but one thing is guaranteed; they became each other’s person of support.

Im Han Tae is another Oppa that added to my favorite list. He got the masculine vibes of a teenager who is both hot and cute. His smiles and positivity are so breathtaking. People can literally be their best version of themselves when they are wearing a smile on their faces. I want someone like Im Han Tae who will always be on your side.

On the contrary, Han Baram’s soft personality led other people to take advantage of him. He is so fragile that I even dislike him for letting his old music teacher plagiarize his song. These episodes were an eye sore to me. His first love actually wins my irritation and frustration. Good thing that they actually had a nice closure to settle the past and the present issues between them.

Light BLs with no dramatic plot twists and toxic characters are easily been tagged as my favorite genres nowadays. Sing My Crush is another drama that gives me butterflies that are solid and demure. There may be some flaws in the show but the critical thing is that I enjoyed the overall outcome. Thank you for bringing a genuine and appealing love story that made me once again, fall in love with the concept of love.

Beautifully filmed autumnal & sweet BL story

The most outstanding aspect of this simple and sweet BL story is its production. I found the filmmaking amazing: there were so many beautiful autumnal sceneries. It made the romantic moments so pretty, you can feel the care in the directing of the actors. Some scenes that could have felt very mundane became in fact really stunning. The fashion in this series was also very on point. There were a lot of pieces of clothes (sweaters, pullovers, accessories) that I would love to have...In addition to being mesmerized by the clothing, I quie enjoyed the soundtrack. Even if the main song was a bit overused, it was understandable given how central it was to the plot.

The writing was a bit weaker compared to the production value. There were too many flashbacks which made it seem like they screenwriter and director were trying to fill time. I enjoyed a lot all the fluff and cute sequences...Despite some backtracking in the relationship in the second half, seemingly to again add a bit of content and act as filler, but not necessarily making sense with what was known of the long established relationship between the main characters.

I enjoyed the acting. The two main leads managed to make their chemistry very believable. Their kissing scenes were lovely and the evolution of their intimacy made sense and was convincing. The antagonist was properly a jerk and the actor who played the role made my blood boil which is a good sign as it was clearly the point.

I would recommend this to people looking for a cute BL series with a friends-to-lovers trope as well as in the youth and music genres. It is not super deep or revolutionary but very enjoyable to watch thanks to the amazing filmmaking and fashion. A feast for the eyes with a lot of fluff.
