The Midnight Series way to Chaos
I already knew from the trailer that this series would have been chaotic, and I was all here for it.Dirty Laundry is about Neon, who supervises a laundromat at night, and Night, a writer of crime stories, who is one of its many customers. They find themselves involved in a dangerous situation when a suitcase filled with money gets stolen: they will have to look for it investigating all the other people who use the laundromat, even by going undercover. And of course, ridiculous scenarios ensue. Poor Night gets into way too many situations from which he'd like to run away, but the circumstances are so unrealistic and the framing is so over the top, that it doesn't feel too bad to laugh about them.
Film and Nanon are both perfect for their characters. They give it their all for this series, whose characters have very high energy all of the time. The side characters are very fun as well, giving great extravagant performances (my favourite being Momay trying to give someone else CPR), even though - with some exception - they aren't very well rounded. (But that's not important to the story at all, so we'll let it slide)
The music is just fun, and it accompanies the series very well. I love the rhythmic theme song, with its nods to the laundromat at the beginning. I also love the chaos of all the characters trying to sing but failing, and Nanon's sweet voice when he sings a cappella at the end of episode 4.
Overall, this series is light, fun, very easy to watch and to pass the time with. It was very entertaining in terms of the investigation the two main characters were trying to lead, and interesting to see how it all pans out in the last two episodes.
The director himself, in the Midnight Series Special, warned not to take this series too seriously, and I'm very happy about that, because it's surely one of the most fun ways to follow.

Everyone (including myself) Simps Over Nanon, The Series
I haven’t laughed like that in a long time. Such a fun and hilarious series! So many colourful sets; it was a joy to look at.I am a Nanon fan girl first, a human being second. That man could be in anything and I’d still watch it. Film is so underrated! I really hope she starts getting more recognition, she was great in this. Their characters were so cute together! The chemistry… mwah?. The side characters were equally as funny and I adored them.
The plot is nothing unique and maybe could have had more interesting twists but it holds up well and the pay off is worth it.
Highly recommend this series for a good time, charismatic characters and lots of laughs.

There were so many things they did right here. Acting – the best all across the board including and ESPECIALLY the supporting characters. All the characters are so outrageous and ridiculous. I love them. They really put the characters into good use here. Each had a purpose and an opportunity to shine in their own ways. The way the story unfolded with just enough drama and mystery to keep you hooked wondering who did it and why.
Everything wrapped up really well by the end.

Dirty laundry but pure entertainment.
This series was short but a real fun. I don't remember when I laughed so hard watching something. Obviously, the humour is an individual thing so many people may consider Dirty laundry as a stupid series since there's a really fine line between being funny and being cringe, and some series have proven that it's very easy to cross it if you get the humour balance wrong (Secret crush on you , YYY, Big dragon?). Still, I agree humour here is kind of primitive I would say- A man dress up as a woman, doing pole dancing, etc. I get that it may not be funny for everybody but the whole story which is very well written in simple and funny way is worth giving a try. I also agree that the behaviours of characters are sometimes exaggerated, their conversations and faces are sometimes stupid and unbelievable but that's the basis of this series and I love every minute of it. Moreover, I love all the characters. Every one of them has their own funny story to show/ tell on the screen, and they are really well-developed given how short this series is. I would say that the writers here in 6- episodes series were able to develop characters better than in for example 12-episodes “Between Us”. The actors play so well especially Nannon who really slays the comedy roles as well as Film or Pond who looked flawless <3. The series is so light and relaxing. It's a total beguilement but worth every minute of your time. I will definitely watch it again when I have a bad time. Totally recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
Unpredictable hilarity
I think the point of this show was to give you the cast you know and love from other shows in the most outrageous scenarios possible, and it delivers. Very funny, very unpredictable and everyone involved did a great job. The mystery is not the most important thing in the show; it's about the journey not the destination. I will confess to mostly watching for Pond and not knowing the others as well but I was very impressed by all the casts' commitment to the craziness.Do expect to have to cover your face over and over from the character's embarrassing themselves.

a mini series full of comedy and chaos
"Dirty Laundry" is part of the "Midnight Series" alongside "Midnight Motel" and "Moonlight Chicken". It is the second series released from these three. While this series is good standing on it own feet, when comparing it to the other two, it falls flat and is probably the entry I liked the least - even though I was really excited about it when it was announced for the first time.First of all, I will start off by saying that the cast does an incredible job at portraying the characters. Since "Dirty Laundry" focuses on comedy rather than a deep storyline, comedic scenes are way more important than anything else. So, if you expect to see a lot of emotions - this series will disappoint you. But if you want to have a fun time with a lot of laughs, you will probably like it (but: you have to like the kind of humor used in this series).
The story is a big mess. Saying otherwise would probably be a lie. Still, it is a great mess. The kind of mess that is so absurd that you can't help but laugh about it. And that is what the "Dirty Laundry" is trying to do; it is not supposed to be deep but to make people laugh and have a good time. Therefore, this series fulfills it's purpose in a good way.
In conclusion, while this series might not be for everyone, most people will probably enjoy it and have a good laugh as long as you don't expect a serious story (but I guess, this is already clear from the trailer, right?).

Chaotic and Hilarious!
This installment in the Midnight series is so fun! It's full of chaos and over-the-top camp that is just such fun to watch. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time watching it.The visuals in this show were really great! The neon lights in the laundromat were so atmospheric, and brought a romantic tone to the story. The sets were really nice without being too complicated, and worked well for a shorter-form series.
The actors were, of course, wonderful. Nanon is a star, pure and simple, and he did so well in this sort of role. He was funny, charming, swoon-worthy, and even at one point kind of intimidating! He was a great choice for this show. The rest of the cast was awesome, as well. Film was cute and funny, and very good at the over-the-top style of the show. I loved seeing Foei and Jennie again and thought they hit the humor of the show so well. Everyone else was really good, too! I don't have a single complaint about the acting.
The story was also really solid. While ridiculous at times, it pulled at real issues and had a coherent theme throughout. The writing was tight-- I swear, there was not one single erroneous detail in the entire show. Everything shown to us-- characters, throwaway lines, set-pieces-- worked together to build up the story. Every character mattered in a way I hardly ever see in television. The story was done so well, and honestly I applaud whoever wrote it.
All in all, this was a great time and a great show. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fast, funny show!

Nanon at his best
This mini series is a hilarious over the top comedy with a great ensemble cast.Palpable chemistry among the cast and Nanon just showed so much acting range here. I wanted to be flirted with abd yelled at by Nanon the way Night did to Neon. Nanon and Film are so effective in their roles, and they just draw me in every frame.
This is also my first time seeing Pond do comedy he's quite convincing too. At least he gets to showcase his dancing skills.
The plot isn't predictable, it was hard to tell who's telling the truth and who took the briefcase.

Crazy fun
This was a silly and a bit ridiculous short drama but so much fun!I've only ever seen Nanon's acting skills in The Jungle (loved it and him) and had no idea who Film was...but they were great together. Film's character (Neon) was over the top, but so cute. I loved her. So many of the characters were crazily over the top, but it all seemed to work.
The kissing scenes were sweet but didn't feel cheesy, just sweet. The idea of Nanon (Night) being a toyboy was crazy....but somehow I could see it. The ending was unbelievable but, again, fun.
If you want short silliness, you could do much worse than watch this.

When you really have nothing to do...
If you ever wondered what you can do with a volunteer cast; a script written by a high school drama class and $11.98 US - watch Dirty Laundry. Frustratingly bad. Stealing is okay as long as you want to bed the person you are stealing from. Getting people almost killed is okay since you really didn't mean to steal the briefcase in the first place. If it wasn't for Pond taking his shirt off - I would have never finished it. Have your finger on the fast forward button at all times.

Dirty Laundry was about airing the dirty laundry but in a ridiculous and comical way
A friend recommended this and I'm glad she did. My throat and stomach hurt so much from laughing. Truth be told when I saw that Film was the heroine, I was skeptical because I was first introduced to her through 'Home School' and she was such a serious character there. I have to say an unserious character really suits her and her duality is insane. She's stunning even when she's making all kinds of funny faces. This is my fifth or sixth series with Nanon and boy has never disappointed. He's always got great chemistry with his counterparts but he and Film are the perfect couple for 'Dirty Laundry'.All the characters did amazing but I'm beyond impressed with Pond. He did so well and gave me so many laughs. Never in a hundred years did I imagine I'd get to see Nanon pinching his nipples and not once but thrice. I love the diversity of the supporting characters; they were very well-written and were committed to their parts. I admire that they didn't try to look nice and pretty and just went bat crazy with their roles. I bet it was an extremely fun set to be at.
Of course, the story wasn't perfect and there were some plotholes but overall it's extremely funny, smart, and memorable. I admire that despite its ludicrousness, it stayed true to reality and morality. The balance of romance, comedy, and tension was spot on. This is definitely a rewatch and my third highest rating yet!

a drag to get through
I wish I would have enjoyed this given how much I was looking forward to it from the trailers, but ultimately it fell very flat for me and was mostly unenjoyable. The jokes were almost always unfunny and the acting was....not good. I do understand it was meant to be a light and fun comedy/drama and not to be taken too seriously, but boy.....it just felt like a drag to get through. The earlier episodes were at least kinda fun and goofy, but I found as the episodes went on it got very boring and honestly I couldn't wait until it was over. I can safely say I won't be revisiting this one anytime soon or recommending it.
5/10
