It's very cute

I had just read the webtoon and I really liked it, so I went for the series. First I'm gonna do some comparison then I'm gonna talk about the story itself.
I loved what they did with this adaptation because the female intern doesn't exist in the webtoon, neither does the women in power of the company. The only girl in the webtoon is Jiyeon, his friend from college, so I liked that they added more important female characters. I really missed something from the manhwa which was the fact Jiyeon had her own drama going on. When Seung Hyun was sad because of the pen, he and Jiyeon cried together because she was also suffering because of a girl. She even found herself a girlfriend later and this girlfriend was very present, so I missed her plot. I'm not sure I liked Ji Yong's acting. I get that the character was supposed to give puppy vibes and he totally got that puppy eyes, but that man smiles way too much. It's kinda creepy tbh. Overall, I really liked how it turned out and the things they added, like the art, visual effects, a reference to the webtoon itself etc.
About the story: I really liked how the drama was about their success in the company and not that cliché "boss/employee can't be together" thing. I love how quickly things went, but still in a natural way. I think their relationship was so good and I admired how Mr. Kim was already trying to change because he knew he had been a terrible partner before, so he was willing to communicate. Even when he didn't understand his partner's side, he talked. He said "I don't understand, but I want to" and I think this is beautiful. I also liked that he got him a permanent job fairly. It was cute and warm.

A short, sweet review on a short, sweet drama-very impressed

Just finished it! So refreshing and delightful to see 2 men grow close in an organic & honest way. Even though the budget for BL dramas remains offensively low - nearly nonexistent (hence the reason why it has only 7 episodes), I’m satisfied with how it began, progressed and ended. Moon Ji Yong portrays Seung Hyun exceptionally as a promising young star with great ideas and a good heart, truly an inspiration on and off screen. Even though I wish there could’ve been more back story on Kim Jong Chan(Keon Hyuk), I greatly appreciate that even though he did not have the best romantic experiences in the past, he was willing to put his pride aside for the sake of Seung Hyun, and that’s not only heartwarming, it’s maturity and respect, and these traits are what truly determine how much someone says they love and care for someone. 10/10 chefs kiss

Fun and Sweet

I really enjoyed this series, it has a lot going for it. I enjoyed the lead's chemistry and how they flow great together. The Sidecast is a good add-on and fun to watch. there are many funny moments, sweet moments, and sad ones. It's a good work romance series. I only wish it was longer. The ending was so great. It shows how an intern who tries his best and gives his best to a company is not worth his skills. There is corruption, love, betrayal, laughter, and an array of emotions. The sad part is there are a few realistic moments I can see happening especially how higher-ups use the employees and never get he credit they deserve. I love the cast chemistry and the friends are so fun to always help along the way. A sweet and fun office romance.

Teen romance packaged in office environment

This was a sweet and simple drama focused mainly on romance and the lead's ambition to work. Being a 7 ep drama it was not heavy on the mind though there was no takeaway as such. It perfect to binge when you need a simple romance.

The main story was ok and there wasn't much communication between the couple besides work. I wanted to know more about Seung Hyun and why he started late. But they never explored in depth. The one sided crush was a classic kdrama trope and just felt lazy excuse for him being solo. Jong Chan was a workaholic, good at his job and open about his feelings. I liked his character and if I met someone like in real life, I would definitely want to date him.
The drunken scene with the first cheek kiss was heart fluttering but after that there was no more romance as such. The kiss scenes felt obligatory imo.

If you ask me the story there wasn't much for me to say. The office plot was a bit unrealistic but not like get to your nerves.

Overall it was a okay above the par drama as I did enjoy few scenes and helped me lighten up my mood. You can watch and decide if you liked it or not since it has a small runtime.

A solid production of a modern fairy tale.

This drama is about a modern fairy tale. Thus, even the ending is more beautiful than realistic. But we watch dramas because we also have enough of reality now and then and need a vacation from it.

The story is a bit simple. But hey. It doesn't always have to go deep. But this story sticks very much to the normal pattern. You meet, the boss is cold as ice. Then you get closer, problems arise and somehow they are solved.

Although I like more depth in dramas, the series is very entertaining.

I think it was because of the good actors.

This series is very solidly produced, everything has the right timing and there is a nice surprise at the end. So... have fun!

A boss, an employee, and a whole lot of feelings

I wanted to love this one, I really did. I'm a sucker for a good office romance, but something about this just didn't hit quite right.
There isn't really any specific thing that's done wrong or any story-telling choices that I found offensive. Hell, I even quite liked the characters, especially Seo Ji Yeon. But despite it all, I just couldn't get into it.
Maybe it was the drunken kiss between the two leads (which I'd go so far as to call dub-con, despite how wholly consensual and reciprocal their relationship is afterwards) that put me off, or maybe it was Kim Jong Chan's somewhat exaggerated innocence.
Whatever the case, it simply didn't work for me.
If you're looking for a simple office romance with a happy (and admittedly very sweet) ending, you might find this an enjoyable way to spend 120 minutes. If you want something more complex then I'd give this one a miss.

Gay characters from the gay community

It's so refreshing to see queer characters that already know their sexuality, SeungHyun being in the Rainbow Rice cake club during university and Jong Chang having had several relationships already, and SeungHyun's university friend Jiyeon is the implied lesbian rep. It's nice to see veteran actress Ye Ji Won play the CEO in this drama, she always brings a fun quirky vibe to her characters. It's nice that there aren't any spoiler filled previews at the end of the episodes and has a manwha type illustration of the ending shot instead.

Jong Chang moves fast to confess and to apologize, which is good because the episodes runtime and number are short. SeungHyun may be a late bloomer in life, but he catches up quick once he gets a boyfriend. Good for Jong Chang for not moving up in position in the company when he doesn't feel like it, quitting that company where the workplace bully can get their way, for have a funny cat that sends nonsensical texts, finding a boyfriend that loves creating ads as much as he does, and establishing a queer owned ad firm with the excellent interns and employees he poached. The little internship summary video that SeungHyun and KangHae makes is cute.

Simple, cute and fluffyy

That's honestly it, Simple, cute and fluffy
You have your basic K Drama love triangle plot twist, that isn't so intense or apparent in this series since the episodes are so short, very bright and shiny, almost like everyone is wearing a halo (typical k production), you can't get many details or characters backgrounds in so much but the overall imagine is well presented whithin the viewing time.
What you have on title is exactly what you get, in terms of general idea haha nothing complicated
Do recemend watching if you have about 2 hours or so of free time, great way to boost your serotonin.

I hate office romance but this one is good.

I like how they represented that a boss and an employee can have a great chemistry between them and this is going in my top 5 KBL.
I like that they showed mature behavior of a boss but the employee's character didn't grow that much.
I only give story 7.5 because the character of seung didn't grow that much.when he wanted he went back to kim and when he wanted he ghosted him.
This is the only thing that I didn't like but overall the serie is great. We get a good make out scene in Korean BL because in KBL's they usually don't do make out and only lip touching kiss.
Other thing that I like was there was not that much drama. The serie was well directed as well.
Lastly there was no time gap between the couple which is default in Korean BL's.
I really hate time gap so I loved this serie

very cute

I could almost feel how the characters were feeling, the show is very cute. I appreciate how quickly their relationship develops given how many episodes there are. Watching them progress was very captivating. It's a very cute, light show, that will make you smile. it's a quick watch, but despite that I think that the story Is told pretty well, the soft caring moments shared between the two were very well executed, watching those moments made me feel the excitement and warmth that the couple would be experiencing.

It's up to you whether you give it a chance or not.

I didn't understand why the manager liked the intern. There was no emotion and the side story was so predictably unnecessary. There should have been more focus on the relationship of the two and the chemistry that develops between them. Everything else is very good, but hey, in all k-dramas, usually the other here is very good anyway. But what I'm looking for is passion, feeling, intensity. But don't take me seriously because I left it in the 3rd episode, maybe it's getting better and better. It's a short production. It's a quick watch, isn't it?
