Inspector Kariya is the chief of the Kyoto Prefectural Police Investigation Division 1. While he was a student at Kyoto University, he fell in love with the city and humanity of Kyoto and got a job to protect people. Normally, Kariya is meek, but once an incident occurs, he uses his sharp reasoning to get to the bottom of the incident. He has a clear mind and can get hints for solutions from casual conversations with his family. A serial murder case occurs at the prestigious flower arrangement Iemoto in Kyoto, and police officer Kaya takes command of the investigation. Is it a crime aimed at the heritage of the Iemoto?
