Intense Drama with Sharp Insights
Queen of Tears was an emotional rollercoaster that thoroughly captivated me from start to finish. Kim Soo-hyun, starring as the male lead (ML), delivers yet another stellar performance, consistently proving why he's one of the top actors in the industry. His ability to convey deep emotions and bring his character to life is nothing short of remarkable, making every scene he's in a highlight. The drama itself keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with each episode, thanks to a series of unexpected plot twists that expertly showcase the disparities between different social classes. The attention to detail is impeccable, and the epilogues at the end of each episode add a satisfying depth to the overall storytelling. This drama excels in blending intense drama with critical social commentary, making it a must-watch for those who appreciate intricate narratives and powerful performances.

Queen of Tears fill the audience eyes with tears let it be sad ones or joyful ones
I don't usually write reviews for any drama or movies but this drama really pushed me to write one. I have no words to describe how beautiful this drama is, from the cast to the directors and the writer everyone of them did a fabulous job in doing their roles to make this drama a wonderful masterpiece. The writer once again showed us that she is the queen of writers because one of the main reason i started watching this drama was because of her. Ans the stellar performance by each and every cast member was just so realistic especially Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won portrayed their emotions very well and not to forget the villain Park Sung Hoon the audience really hated his character because of how well he acted to be do that role. The story was a rollercoaster of emotions for all the audience watching it and it is the drama to make everyone who watches it shed tears. Was this review helpful to you?

A tale of love and loss
Korean drama watchers love romance, love which burns as it builds. As the trailer dropped, the drama lovers knew what had been packed for them.Baek Hyun Woo meets Hong Hae In under complex surroundings. What follows is love, angst, and a profound misunderstanding that engulfs them both with time. The story revolves around the protagonists. Their love meets a rough patch as a tragedy strikes. Caught in a roller coaster of emotions, they find each other drifting away caught in a whirlwind of misunderstanding.
Kim Soo Hyun as Hyun Woo is beautiful. You will love his effervescent slipping into the skin of the sweet little husband. The man who is infamous for sticking with rich heiress has got a beautiful score this time. Ji Won as Hae In shines like a moon in the story. Her dialogue delivery, strides, and hair flipping reminds me of Rachel from The Heirs. The girl surely knows how to build the aura. The chemistry between leads is palpable and smooth. Mixing vulnerability and resilience in equal proportions elevates the whole story to a new level.
The story has been creating buzz for a while. This is because of the way they explore the intricacies of human emotions. Even in his venture, It's Okay to be Not Okay, Soo Hyun talked about depression and multiple perspectives. In this story, the director uses family and complexities to weave a web of emotions as the characters develop. This is life, right?
The cinematographer did a brilliant job... Capturing the poignant dichotomy existing between leads evades through the change of tone. Throughout the series, the ensemble cast gives a stellar performance. Each actor whispers life through the skin of the characters. Glorified sung Hoon is back being icy cold sociopath lover doing extremely good in his job. The arc of characters this man is playing is clearly creating a storm. Alas! He is still not getting the girl again.
With Har In and Hyun Woo palpitating and gallivanting in their gallon, it is difficult to assume how love is going to make it. But the poignant exploration characters are making is surely leaving a never-ending mark.

Great watch for first time, not much rewatch value solely because of the last 2 episodes
It's an amazing drama honestly in every sense!I won't say the plot is the best, but the acting and execution are beyond perfect. Also, I liked how the story focused on the relationship between characters. Sadly they kinda ruined things by the end (episode 14's ending upto the very last episode) by rushing things and adding unnecessary plot twists for clout.
However, as a whole it's a fun and beautiful melodrama to watch honestly

Epilogue
The most heartwarming part of this drama is the epilogues❤️?. I may forget the story details one day but I'll never get over from the epilogues and the osts?. After watching the last episodes this is my version of Epilogue-"There is nothing called as happy ending, we can be happy rn and be sad the next moment, life is unpredictable so if u have good memories to cherish you’ve already got your happy ending, good times will slip away and we can not stop them, but we can cherish them, which will be our strength in bad times"
Somehow this drama made me remember all the happy memories of my life which pulled my heartstrings a bit, also made me appreciate my happy moments in life!

PERFORMANCES AND CHEMISTRY
Kim soo hyun and Kim Ji Won - both leads deliver powerful performances. Baek hyun woo - bringing warmth & emotion role and Hong Hae in - balancing vulnerability & strength. Their chemistry is one of the drama's strongest points, evoking both heartbreak & warmth as their relationship evolves.Particularly in portraying the realistic struggles of a marriage.
Kim Ji Won has proven her versatility as an actress through various roles in her career, and Queen of Tears is no exception. Her ability to adapt to different characters & genres. Her portrayal of Hong Hae in not only elevates the drama but also solidifies her status as one of the top actresses in the industry.
Kim Ji Won is a strong contender for the highest awards in television acting.

The mind may forget but the heart will always remembers. Baek Hyun Woo is the greenest of all green.
*** Spoiler Alert (PERSONAL FEEDBACK)Title : Queen Of Tears – 2024 (Complete 16 Episodes)
Personal Rating : 10/10
The mind may forget but the heart will always remembers.❤️
Baek Hyun Woo is the greenest of all green.?
Baek Hyun Woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun) is a handsome son of a farmer and smart lawyer who grew up in a village with 30 cows, a 2 million won savings every month with fully paid 2 years leased studio apartment. Who is cute when he is drunk and looks sexy when he flex his forearm muscles. He doesn't care if your family has a debt or more than that because he will be always be by your side.
Hong Hae In (played by Kim Ji Won) is a pretty, fiesty smart, and arrogant Ceo of Queens Department. She is the third generation chaebol and a daughter of Queens group family who married a normal guy (as per their social status) yet he is her first love.
The series depicts the dizzying crisis and miraculous rekindling of love between Hong Hae-in and Baek Hyun-woo, and their three years of marriage.
A handsome office worker falls for a helpless intern. Without asking a single thing about her, he immediately vows to support her. They started a relationship and formalized their relationship to the wedding level. Baek Hyun Woo was surprised that Hong Hae In was not just an intern, but a chaebol daughter of Queens group family. (One of the richest family is SK).
Three years of marriage, it turns out that Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In's relationship is starting to get complicated. They always argue and sleep in separate rooms. Baek Hyun Woo also feels there is no room for his opinion both at the office and at home - with the Hong Hae In family.
Feeling frustrated, Baek Hyun Woo wants to divorce Hong Hae In. Baek Hyun Woo has prepared everything until one day he hears shocking news from Hong Hae In.
Hmm.. what can I say.. no wonder Kim Soo Hyun is the top paid actor in Korea and QOT is currently the no.1 drama in Tvn history which surpassed the CLOY and Goblin.. it was a roller coaster of emotions.. its a mixed of romance, comedy, slice of life (rich life) drama.. Baek Hyun Woo' character should be the standard if you want a husband. (Joke!) But kidding aside, Beak Hyun Woo shows that love conquers all.. and Hong Hae In shows that the mind may forget all things but the heart will always remembers..
Overall, it is currently my number 1 Kdrama.. Kim Soo Hyun is so freaking great and a very talented actor!!! And I couldn't see anyone can play the role of Hong Hae In other than Kim Ji Won!!! Its a wow!!! I mean they embodied their character so well that you will not feel thats its all acting.. I am not exaggerating here but I cried a lot..I was emotionally invested in this drama.. I waited months for it to be ended so I can binge watch it.. Its a must drama if your into romantic comedy like me but prepared a lot of tissue. hmmmm.. and for the ending, honestly for me its a realistic ending.. they both grow old and as promised when only one of them is left behind the other one can meet him/her, then it wont be scary at all because they will be together. BaekHong Couple for life..
GENRE – Romantic , Comedy , Slice of Life
LEAD CAST – Kim Soo Hyun & Kim Ji Won
FAV OST - Love You With All My Heart by Crush

Best drama I've ever watched
Explanation for the Rewatch Value: rewatch value is 1 star because I don't usually rewatch dramas. For me, this is the best drama I have ever watched. It's a complete package, it has suspense, thriller, comedy, tragedy, etc... No scene was wasted, I think, Everything had a purpose. The setup for the plot points, I think, all paid off in the end. I also want to appreciate the OST, besides the songs, the ambient music we hear during scenes were very good. It sometimes makes you think "Woah, why is the music like this? Is something going to happen or not?". I just want to appreciate the subtlety of it, because it greatly adds to the tension or suspense. The acting, I don't know what else to say, was phenomenal! Everyone did so well. Extra shout out to the antagonists, especially Eunseong. I hated him so much LOL.
*Contains spoilers*
The ending I think was perfect. They were still together, even after death. Atleast, that's what I thought it meant. The scene where the old Hyunwoo was visiting Haein's grave was extra special because of the scene where haein thought she saw an old man bringing flowers to a grave. Well, apparently it was hers. Such a nice callback to that earlier scene.
What a rollercoaster of a drama. It made my cry (many many times lol), laugh and sometimes at the edge of my seat. I'm kinda sad now that it's finished. I guess I'll go check out Soohyun and Jiwon's other dramas for now to comfort myself.
