many cliché including plot twists.. but still emotional
the trailer was truly promising, first episode was just... wow!! it was funny, emotional, intriguing.. main lead actors are superb.every episode made me emotional and to await for a week for the next 2 episodes was a pain in the ***
OST is superb, some songs are stuck in my head (even tho i don't understand korean bc i'm italian) but still mumbling and singing them non stop..
Plot twists were predictable and the villain.. well.. that wasn't surprising
This drama let me down during the final trial.. i mean, i wished to see more of that and how they discovered things to bring the villain down. i feel like the speeded up the thing and that let me down a bit.
i wished for more lovey dovey scenes during the last 2 episodes and maybe they could manage some things better.
Even tho i think i will rewatch the whole thing more than once bc it made my heart ache, my eyes wet..
the chemistry between the two Kim was incredible and i love them. i will truly miss this show.. and the potential it had
hope the 2 extra episodes will be great (cast interviews and reactions to the show if i'm not wrong)

A FLAWED MASTERPIECE
Hmm.. it's such a strange drama. A weird drama. WHY?Well, I always thought that with bad writing, the story will be very difficult to follow. But I was wrong. Very very wrong.
The last 3 episodes had one of the most MEDIOCRE writing I've ever witnessed in my days of watching kdramas ever.
However, the PERFORMANCE of the cast and STORY was just too good to make this drama a BAD one. So much so...that I'm EMBARASSED to say that it's a good drama that was WORTH the time to watch.
This drama reminded me of the past Kdramas that used to air back in the day. Dramas where the rich 'chaebol' ML falls in love with a 'cinderella' kinda FL and then loses his memory and so on. What they did here was just a gender swap but the execution of it was so good.
MAYBE we need to bring in the VINTAGE stuff back. However, with proper execution and BETTER writing (Emphasis on this tho).
A solid 9.0 from me. A hugely FLAWED drama but still a MASTERPIECE

Queen of Tears' Concludes with a Heartwarming Finale
Queen of Tears" had me glued to the screen from start to finish. Kim Soo Hyun(Baek Hyun Woo) andKim Ji Won(Hong Hae In) brought their characters to life in such a touching way, even Park Sung Hoon
(Yoon Eun Seong) played the role pretty nicely The ending couldn't have been better. Huge thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful ride!

HAPPY AND BEST ENDING SO UNDERRATED
it’s soo good I love it . Now it’s finished and you don’t have to wait weeks to watch other episodes but it’s never boring.The episodes are a little bit longer but it’s definitely okay.It’s a mix between romantic,comedy,family, business,criminal and a little bit sad sometimes.The actors are acting so good and you will become a real queen of tears:)You can get a little upset because one character but the Ending is soo cute and HAPPY.You have to watch it (and when you don’t have Netflix watch it on Kisskh free)Was this review helpful to you?
Best kdrama for 2024
Best drama so far.... I can't remember watching a drama that I have so much love and fondness for except this.The casting was perfect! Who would have thought that the 2 leads would have such sizzling chemistry???! They truly embraced their characters to the point that you cannot imagine any other person for these roles.
I liked how each actor got their share of the limelight with the roles they portrayed. So much so that I started following them on IG as well. The story, while not that original but well told in a way that you will not get bored. The OST is aslo hands off amazing. The melodies AAARRRGGHH..... they bring you back to the scenes and emotions.
QOT will be up there in the number 1 position of my favorite kdramas of all times. Hard to beat them really.
Can't wait for the time they will be paired again. Hopefully a rom-com

it is the queen of tears
The title promis tears, and I cried alot doing this show. but also yelling, laughing and hoping.from the start it showed it could go diffrent ways. and we knew there may be a plottwist.
but I enjoyed this show to the fullest, I felt very entertained and couldn't wait for next week episodes.
and the show made me cry till the end, so absolutely queen of tears.
some may say its seen before and etc, but this gives a new filler story to it with a new set of eyes and diffrent location and etc

Wow, been a long time since i watch a drama that I didn't want it to end
Yes, there is alot of cliches from 20 years ago, but it also have 2 main actor & actress with chemistries we have not seen in a long time. This couple will make you laugh, cry (alot) and emotionally stress out. Their family is frustrating but very funny. Its a story about Romance, lost love, 2nd chance at love again, memory loss, tragic death, suspense and comedy.Was this review helpful to you?
Dream come true pairing with Top-notch acting
When two Korean superstars get paired up, you can really expect a good drama with topnotch acting. I can't still believe that my dream actors to be pair have been paired. Kim Ji won x Kim Soo Hyun is really happening.Kim Ji Won really fits the role as Hong Hae In, she's scary yet charming. Kim Soo Hyun's Baek Hyun Woo is cute and adorable.
If you want a Kdrama with a Top-notch acting, this is for you. Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun never failed us. They always amaze us with their good performances.

Beautiful wedding scene in the 1st episode? I couldn’t be happier!As a romcom to look forward to this year, QoT offers a fresh perspective on KDrama's typical happy endings and gender roles.
Starring Kim Soo Hyun (It’s Okay to Not be Okay) as a lawyer from an ordinary family, he falls for a troublemaker intern played by Kim Ji Won (My Liberation Notes), who turns out to be an heiress at their workplace: Queens Department Store.

He struggles with her wealthy family and can’t stand his wife anymore, while she unexpectedly deals with a terminal illness, adding a melodrama twist to the husband who is seeking a divorce. I appreciate the realistic portrayal of after-married life in this drama. It challenges the idea of a fairy tale ending! I also love the engaging storytelling perspective; it prevents us from taking sides because both characters play a role in this marriage that has lost its sparks.
Excited to see more stories from the second lead couple played by Kwak Dong Yeon and Lee Joo Bin, as well as the hidden intentions of the second male lead, portrayed by Park Sung Hoon.
With a talented writer behind hits like Crash Landing on You and My Love from the Star, this series perfectly blends romance and humor, featuring lot of stellar casts, making it a must-watch for KDrama enthusiasts like you and me~

Might be better if cast talent is used correctly
This show didn't quite grab my attention. The actors did a good job, but the story and direction didn't impress me. I felt disappointed because the female lead's strength wasn't highlighted much, and the male lead didn't have much excitement. After just one episode, I felt like not to continue watching but anyway i will complete it. If you're a big fan of the cast, you might still enjoy it, but for me the drama is just ok for one time watch and not that admirable while others may find it intresting.
