One day an older actor called Wakamatsu was chatting with a producer on a TV station, out of nowhere a young man asks him to read the script of a scene. The name of the young man is Kikuo Takai and he is a new screenwriter. Wakamatsu is amused by the young Takai and asks him to follow him and they go to a gaybar. Takai is confused and leaves while Wakamatsu decides to help him become a known screenwriter. Takai becomes frustrated and instead gets closer to a young actress called Chinatsu. Wakamatsu praises Takai for his rewritten script but Takai isn't sure if he is secretly after his body. Suddenly Wakamatsu learns he has a terminal disease and limited time to live.
