What is a (gay) pink film?

Ero-themed Japanese movies of ~ 60 minutes. Sometimes used as artistic outlets for unique plotlines, other times just explicit for the sake of it. Keep in mind that these movies are often filled with toxic, problematic, tragedy, shocking themes ect..  Anything that could be deemed ''artistic''. The movies also spawned their own gay cinema sub-culture in Japan.

Disclaimer:  Just assume there is problematic stuff like dub-con and non-con or age gaps. Not every movie will have problematic stuff but most will, watch at your own risk. Also you will not be able to find all these films as some are solely still existing at some gay cinema archives, the ones that have had video releases by BRYCE are sometimes uploaded online tho. 

Is it BL? : Some gay pink films are advertised as ''BL'' since the term is slowely becoming the way of referring to every type of gay-romance in media. But these stories focus much more on the LGBT-experience than modern BL from Japan does. Warning: That does not necessarily make it more progressive as I warned about in the disclaimer, it just allows for a view into a unique gay sub-culture.
