Just a fun light-hearted watch, Kind of Worth It for me
After falling deep in the world of Reply 1988, So Not Worth It is a nice palate cleanser if I would say although I'd rather have the literal title for this 'I Wish The World Get Fxxxed Tomorrow.'Overall, this was a unique watch. I haven't heard of that many Korean sitcom and this one works. It's not really perfect nor it has like an extraordinary story but I guess the simplicity of show makes it charming for me. I love seeing and hearing foreigners speaking Korean like a real Korean. It's so impressive. But the real catcher for me is how all the characters has a bit of 'craziness' in them. I would just love to watch their daily life interacting with each other. It's quite funny for me and some scenes are a little bit cringey.
Not a big fan of the lovelines though. One scene did give me butterflies but after that, the lovelines became corny. But I still liked it overall. Sitcoms for me are all about out of this world scenarios. It's so crazy that it becomes funny.
To be honest, I kind of wanted more episodes. 12 episodes are a bit short for me. Not all may agree but I kinda want a second season. It's not that long and it's funny so I guess it's worth it after all.

Definitely love it !
Just hearing the theme song makes me smile ! A very nice way from korean scriptwriters to make and american-style sitcom. I love the actors (rooting for Hyun-Min!), great chemistry. I didn't expect much in watching this show but finally I finish everything and long for season 2 !It's a big hug made for the korean culture lovers !
It's not as light as it appears through characters like Se-Wan' or Hyun-Min' student hardships. But all the scenes come with fun and are full of surprises.
Also, there are more black people in this drama (as main and secondary roles) than in any asian dramas or in american series. So it's possible to make thing more multicultural.
I totally recommend, it's worth watching it !

Adorkable, Fun and Easy Binge Watch
I genuinely enjoyed the show. For all it's faults, the cast really worked well together and the international college/dorm setting was just what I needed.THE GOOD: The diverse cast. I came to watch b/c of Hyun-min and I was not dispappointed. He was really good in his scenes and I LOL'd a lot with his over the top antics and him being the one where nothing good was happening with him per se but Carson was the standout for me I really enjoyed her scenes and her being the person with the most maturity and really great converstaions she had about relationships and moving on. The 4th Wall breaking was a nice change of pace too.
and
THE BAD: That God awful laugh track. What the hell were the editors thinking?? As other's have metioned it wasn't even lighed up properly. It also was unnecessary. Humor is subjective trying to force laughter in a sitcom is ridiculous. People are either going to laugh or they are not; leave it at that. Also, anyone watching the dub I feel bad for. I couldn't even get through the first episode listening to the dub; very bad voice over some of the worse dubbing I have heard in my life and this isnt the first show on Netflix with bad dubbimg either. Aish!!
THE OVERALL: It's worth watching if you want something light and breezy. Quick for a binge watch and just a quick laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
I just have something to say about a comment b/c it really has been bothering me and YES people do have a right to their opinion about shows so go for it. Although S. Korea is a homgeneous nation, it is not a monolithic one. Just some food for thought!

I liked it a lot!
I'm very new to kdrama so I dont know a lot of kdrama to compare this too but in my opinion So Not Worth It was really good!It had a little bit of humor, (mostly corny jokes ?) drama, and romance. I loved the characters so much and I think each of them are relatable in their own way. And the music, Im literally in love with the intro as well as the other songs!! I also like kpop so it was nice to see my two bias throwing kimchi at my other bias loll.
Overall the show was good 9.5/10. I enjoyed it a lot I hope you will too (that is if you haven't seen it already) hoping for a s2! <3

light hearted sitcom
really loved the acting of every cast and even if the jokes were predictable they were really funny. minnie and sam are my favorite couple and even though this drama has flaws it is first time that people from different cultural background were casted. and they all did amazing job. the entire cast bonding in the bts was amazing they went along well and this shows in the sitcom they were really friendly and comfortable with each other. the ending i wasnt expecting that waiting for season two if they are planning for it. if sitcom is your genre then you will definitely love this dramaWas this review helpful to you?
12 thirty min eps, sounds short but it was torture
I always say different people different taste but I don't get how they liked this mess. The fl was cruel. Even worse than jerk mls. She was a tyrant. She manipulated the ml with her broken phone so he works for her. She didn't even let him take a break or go to the bathroom which is a human right. And she was "surprised" he was naive enough to not give up then worse only wanted him when she thought he likes her and made a sense when she again made up stories that he liked someone else. THEN claimed him just because she wanted someone to love her.....
The ml was also worse than naive fls. He allowed her when she controlled his breaks, even kids go to the bathroom if their teacher says no... it's basic nature. Then he finds out she lied to him. But he fell for her cuz what. She's poor cynical and hardworking? While he's rich spoiled and happy?.... and he was even happy with her marking him when she just said she selfishly didn't like him but the idea of him...
She also steals, she was upset and hyungmin taking mls shoes. Not because she cared for the ml but she thought she's the only one allowed to threatened people. Then she sells it and takes the half as if she has any right to that money. She should've atleast returned it to the ml. Just cuz she sells something doesn't mean she owns it...
Sam was the only cute person yet he was always mistreated even by the writers saying he's dumb. And minnie was the only normal person but she was also too clingy
The comedy was meh and the only good scenes were with that cute baby and puppy.
I thought this was short but after watching 6eps while playing on my phone I don't even want to see their romance. The random drug mystery or the fact that the ml is a rich American actress's son...

A funny, relaxed, and feel good sitcom!
FYI:This is more of a sitcom than a drama which is why the reviews aren't higher. I believe in Asia, people are accustomed to dramas more than sitcoms which are popular in western countries. Sitcoms don't involve plot twist, super dramatic characters, etc, but rather humor and day to day problems that most humans face in established countries.
Pros:
•The diversity of the cast.
•Finally, Korean entertainment that doesn't misrepresent black people as thugs and gangsters.
•As an American, this drama reminds me of American sitcoms which I love!
•The rap song and video in episode 3 didn't appropriate anyone's culture, which is a good thing. However, there wasn't a need for it. I didn't get how it tied in, at that moment lol.
Cons:
•The studio audience claps and laughs are not placed after a joke is made but before. Basically, it's inserted before the joke is made and thus, you're left there confused until you realize it's an editing error lol.
•The male lead who is pretending to be Korean American lost too much weight for this drama (I am assuming it is the reason for the weight loss). He was in a drama tilted Be My Boyfriend, and he looked healthy in that drama. However, in this drama, it looks like he's skipping meals to fit into South Korea's toxic beauty standards. Skipping meals in order to lose weight is not healthy for the mind nor body.
•This is not a con per say but I rated the music 6.5 out of 10 because it didn't really have a soundtrack, as it's more of a sitcom.
Btw, not all Americans are not accustomed to working hard, as this drama portrays. I am not offended that it was portrayed this way but it's important to clarify that work life balance is pretty much non-existent in certain states and while working for certain organizations. Don't move to America thinking success will be easy, and you won't have to work hard lol.
Overall, this sitcom is pretty good. There were moment that I definitely laughed. It's a good sitcom to binge watch in a day.

So not worth it
I don’t know but the main character is super annoying. The other actors are okay. Super animated series to the extent it’s almost slapstick but I guess that’s what they were going for.Perhaps the only actors who are good were Carson Allen, Choi Young-Jae, Minnie and Hyun Min. Minnie was natural so that’s a good thing. Carson does a good job portraying her glutton character. Perhaps the most fun to watch was these 4 characters in the lounge area exchanging dialogues. All these 4 actors are good but The RA and main role is just super annoying!
Not really worth binging on.

A Bit Problematic
The diversity is great, and interesting casting. Carson was kept me watching because she wasthe only likeable person there.Se Wan’s character and personality. Just really ended it for me, I already was really put off by her at episode 2, couldn’t stand her at episode 3. For someone who wantd to be left alone she’s up in everyone’s business. Her greed gets everyone else in trouble. Basically can’t stand the leading character, too obnoxious haha, Minnie was a bit meh but I liked her way more than se wan

STAYS TRUE OF IT'S NAME!!!
I couldn't get past even the first episode. They're trying so hard but the show is so unfunny. The dialogues are abysmal ugh im so disappointed. I had high expectations, and it's a major let down. They're making fuss about the lamest things which leaves you a feeling of cringe when you're supposed to laugh. I waited so long but they couldn't make me laugh not even once. Where's the comedy in this sitcom?? I'm sorry, but it was not worthy of even 25 mins and no I don't have to like a drama just because kpop idols are there. Was this review helpful to you?
