As a widow, Yeo Hwa cannot leave her home and has to mourn her late husband day and night. However, she often sneaks out at night and helps people in trouble by disguising herself as a man behind a black mask. One day, she hears that Ggotnim, the little servant she adores, was taken for her father's debts. She goes to the inn where Ggotnim is and sees Officer Park trying to take her by force. Great start

A lot of details I overlooked at first viewing: the flower petal on the king's shoulder; Park Soo Ho is Im Kang's son and therefore the Royal Secretary's adopted brother.I can't wait to see where all this leads.

I hadn't realized that Lee Ha Nee was in this, so it was a pleasant surprise. She is so radiant & charismatic and I always fall in love with her whenever I see her.

So yeah for the first historical drama I am truly enjoying & looking forward to.

night raider

She is quite nimble on those rooftops for such an ample woman. Also has been a widow for 15 years so she's no spring chicken. I like her do-gooder impulse under such a harrying mother-in-law.

No skipping

One of the few times I didn't press the x2 ff button. This says a lot. Kdramas have these lengthy scenes where there is little or very slow dialogues that you can speed up to twice the normal speed and still manage to read the translation easily. Well this time I enjoyed even those scenes.
