About THE scene and THE actor -- highlight of entire show

I wanted to rewatch the whole show because of this one scene between Sand and Ray in front of the bar.Perfectly executed dissonance.Sand is verbally convincing us (and Ray) that he is emotionally detached, that he is planted firmly on the ground and not for a second delusional about himself and Ray. When Sand asks about Mew, Ray senses the tension changing and awkwardness rising and before Ray can respond, Sand gives him a smile, releases all the tension with his "Congrats". He does not want Ray to sense anything uncomfortable. He seems even happy for Ray to have succeeded in getting his dream guy. And he is even pushing further and further in convincing Ray, verbally, how Ray will be as happy with Mew and how their friendship becomes pointless because Mew will do all the activities with him and do them better. And in Sands head it continues... 'because I did not do them well enough'. Simple bludgeoning with a hammer the main conclusion of the circumstances: 'it seems I am unnecessary and I should cut all the ties to avoid being hurt more'. All his words about them not being friends anymore and having no things in common allude to his disappointment that he was a temporary place holder for Mew. 'Of course we cannot be friends because we never were'. Blundgeon it once, twice. 'Why would I be friends with you' More. 'We have nothing in common.' And more. And more. Until it stopped being about Ray and more about convincing himself 'they were never meant to be anyway' so he should stop feeling so much hurt.Objectively his words in isolation could sound mature, detached, and really comforting if you do not see this scene with your eyes. True friends with benefits beginning and end. However, Sand's body language is the exact opposite of his words. His pain is almost palpable and sharply contrasts his rational words.First really had outdone himself here. Finest of his acting. He has been always above the average in acting for me, but then those short snippets come to the surface, in each of his dramas, that make you feel that he was meant to do this and never anything else. Acting belongs to him and he belongs to acting. That was one of such scenes. I did not know where First began and Sand finished. They melted into a feeling. Burning sensation of bitterness. Of disappointment. Of trying to disappear because your feelings were invalidated ...and you feel like overcrowding the space. The goal is to disappear and only stay in the memory of your loved one as everything positive and fun and not sad and bitter bother that you feel like in the moment.I simply got chills from this. Ah great job, for real.

God, I feel like shit, and I wrote it first period because I hate myself. Okay, let's do this.Starting off with Boston and Nick because Boston was the person we saw. Damn, what the fuck? Boston misses Nick; he knows it; we know; Nick just does not know it. Now that he does not have him, he is all over him like a little whore. Boston and Nick weren't really the focus in this, but the few scenes they did have had a lot of meaning and really showed how Boston misses him now that he isn't wrapped around his finger.I am trying to hurry this up because we have a class meeting soon. Uh, top and mew. Okay. I loved the daddy's little monster, and the joker math was the cutest thing ever. Anyway, back to our couple. Top fucked up, and he is now facing the consequences. He misses his man so much, and Mew still loves him because of that scene where he threw up and was spewing random ass nothing. Mew fully made the decisions to do the coke, other drugs, smoke, and drink. He is a grown adult; he made those decisions by himself. Why are we blaming Ray? I am a ray apoligist, okay? The cuddling scene was really cute, and the top showing that he cared was really cute, and I love them for that. Mew is a d1 gaslighter with the shit he is doing. Getting on my fucking nerves with his dumb ass shit. Stop rebounding in rays, please. getting on my nerves. At least we had a sort of happy ending with them. And top buying rays ass out of police custody was kind of like him buying the friend groups love back. That's today's symbolism.Okay, moving on to my last and favorite couple. Ray asking that guy if he wanted to have a threesome was crazy. Ray knows he wants sand; he is just to set on the past, and I am not blaming him for Mew doing drugs because Mew can make his own fucking decisions and he chose to do those. Ray actually needs rehab because that almost ruined him, bro. Sand still trying to stick up for him was very cute, because they both know where their hearts lie. They are just having issues that they need to work out. I need them to work them out sooner and everyone needs to stop blaming ray because he has these issues becauses addiction runs in his family and it has been around him forever. Mew is old enough to be held accoynable too. Okay thats it. Okay bye!

Bisexual representation

Boston and Ray are great in stirring up chaos. The difference between both of them is that Boston is unapologetic himself, without regretting anything and never saying sorry. And Ray is selfish in trying to have both Mew and Sand, whom he hurt so bad with his games he's been playing. This episode shows us that Mew is trying hard to change himself. Someone who wouldn't have been betrayed by Top and his partner in crime is Ray, whom he's using for his break-up-crisis. The contrast between Ray wanting to kiss Mew when they were alone and Mew turning him down and then just one minute later Mew kissing Ray in front of Top really underlines that theme. For me, it was the first time that a character spoke about his sexual identity, and it made soooo happy to have Sand saying that he is bisexual. As the bisexual community is highly underrepresented, this was really needed. I also liked the little talk between Atom and Boston where the latter was asked how long he's known that he likes men. These types of conversations are also rarely seen in BL because most of the time the issue of being queer is not outspokenly addressed. And this little conversation felt real to me because this is something I did countless times. What I didn't like about this episode was the portrayal of non-consensual interactions. First we have Ray just kissing Sand out of nowhere, which fits to his character and the situation, but it also shows that he still hasn't learned from his mistake with Mew a few episodes back. And then we have Top hugging the sleeping Mew, who if he was awake wouldn't have wanted this. I hope that the last situation will be addressed in the future. This behaviour should not be romanticized. The music in this episode was again awesome. It really fitted the different moods and helped convey the feelings of each scene. I particularly liked the beginning scene of the Halloween party where Mew is dancing. I don't know why, but I really liked the way it was filmed.

Bosen sih, tapi gpplah~ lanjut dulu aja...

Hot mess done right!

Top is redeemed. Boston isn't. Puppy dog Nick bound for heartbreak. Sand still the level headed best of yhe bunch. Mew fell off the deep end. Ray is a lost cause.

The dramaaaa

Things went to HELL this episode - and I LOVED it. I truly didn't expect to like this series this much, or at all (I usually only watch fluff). But the drama, the betrayals, the acting, the chemistry, it's all there and I really really like it. This is the episode where I want to punch Ray, shoot Ton, and tie Top to a pole (really, why did he take Mew's pants off while he was drunk? Please have some boundaries??). Cheum and April are so cute and I love them, nothing new. Sand and Nick - just GET OUT. Run before it's too late.
I know it's going to happen, but please tell me Ton is not going to sleep with his friend's younger brother - he's so messy T-T
