The blurred lines between law and attraction
The line between love and hate is barely visible, but the distinction between lawful good and chaotic good is clear as day. The very first scenes establish the characteristics of our main characters, Charn, a high profile lawyer who is ruthless and not above bending the law to further his will. One the other side is Tin, a martial arts coach who believes the law is just and the law will do it's job. These two are brought together on several occasions, the most notable being when they meet as plaintiff and defense in the case involving the death of Tin's niece. The story moves along with Tin and Charn joining forces once Charn realises that something doesn't sit quite right with the case, and from here on out follows the adventures of the gang as they try to figure out the truth behind the accident.
The series is through and through a lakorn, from the gratuitous violence, terrible parents on one end, and incredibly supportive parents and guardians on the other, a villain who's not really a villain, and the plethora of other lakorn tropes that make it interesting (yet sometimes horrifying) to watch. Another great part is that this is also a character driven drama. The story and situation plays an important role in progressing the plot forward, but the involvement of the characters keeping in mind their personalities and allegiances make this a series where it is impossible to predict the next movement of any character. The story is fairly predictable, but the way the characters interact with each other in addition to the fact that you can never predict what exactly they're going to do next keeps it interesting on all fronts.
The best part though is the chemistry. Charn and Tin have this undeniable chemistry between each other, and they seem to have it with everyone else as well. The dialogue flows when they interact with each other and during those moments you almost forget how their relationship started out.
This is a genuinely good series, and while it does have its fair share of gruesome scenes (some of them were hard to watch), it's definitely worth a watch, especially for the romance.

One of the best bl
This is what i like to see. A fast paced good storyline with intense sexual tension. You can see their eyes wanting each other since ep 1. The way charn was flirting with tinn made my my heart flutter. Whispering in seductive tone and staring at each other made me squeal.
That’s why ep 4 is my favvv. The club scene was the best and i don’t know how many times rewatched the scene where tinn put hands on charn waist turning him to his side.
Wish their were more moments like this. I don’t know how many times i must have said this in my head “Just kiss already” while watching this series.
Done fangirling, now let’s talk about the real review.
Charns characterisation was great. The grey character and a bit realistic. Obviously who won’t be like him considering his past tragedy. I really liked him in this series and the acting was toooo good. So drastic change in character, he was the purest soul in “to sir with love” and here he is with his sexy sinister smile. I especially loved his low voice when tried to tease and seduce tinn.
Tinn, a common man, had his life upside down. But still he was optimistic. He changed charn’s way of thinking despite all the shit happening. He believed in justice and truth.
But guess who’s my fav character??
It’s Nawin. I laughed so damn hard whenever he came on screen.
Even the supporting cast was great especially the side couple.
My only complaint is that this series way too short. I want more heart fluttering flirting, kissing and all.
And i want to see charn being jealous too for once, cuz the way he said “If you ever leave me or cheat on me...” in the last episode made me shiver. He was scary when he said this. I really want to see him being jealous, he would be wayyy more sulky than tinn.
I want a special episodeee??

I would love to watch BL series between thantai and the body guard!
Somehow the intimacy is not much tho in this series. Also, i am interested about tharnthai story as he's actually innocent but it's just that his problem is his dad. Their story is more interested than charn and tinn ? There is 2 episode more before i end this series and the preview for the next episode of tharnthai and bodyguard is superb. I am looking forward to their story more than the main actor of this series tho ? Compared to to sir with love, i prefer to sir with love than this series. And also i would love to look forward with new BL series between jam and film and i hope the episode and the storyline is way better than this.Overall i loved this series absolutely! But if the main actor intimacy is way better than i think its an improvement than in this seriesn?

Sla

Better Mystery Than Romance
Surprisingly, this series works well as a mystery story and a good ‘who done it’ chronicle, but as a BL it foundered. The above quote literally summed up this series. For it is all about an unprincipled attorney’s futility in trying to be good but has fallen so far down the rabbit hole of evil that it is impossible for him to dig himself back up to the sunlight. I cannot say that the story is disinteresting; it is not. However, it does get overplayed and after a while, too many characters and too many scenarios convolute the story, and it almost becomes a farce. If you are expecting romance, there is little here. The 'second couple' is a way more interesting pair and should have been a major focal point in this series and wanted a more intense romantic connection between them. They were a power couple. You can read my full review of this series at BLBliss.com.

The story is nice, but the acting...
To be honest, I find the story to be quite nice, almost along the lines of the kinnporche series, but also, compared to the same series, I feel like the characters don't have the dinamic they should. I feel like Tin fell harder for Charn than the other way around and while this may not be bad in itself, I feel like this was not the way the story is. From the story I understand that they both love eachother very much and I can also see this in scenes like the helicopter one or in the sub-stories like that one time Charn went to apologise to Tin, but when it comes to their on-screen performance together...idk i just don't feel the chenestry between them. Was this review helpful to you?
Ep4 is fantastic
I am a fan of BL, when I watch Ep4 which drive me insane, I like both actors, they are so amazing. The chemistry of the main leads is just amazing! I could watch Charn smile all day long!! When Charn talk wiht Tinn in the club , the reaction is really good and I am so happy when Tinn hold Charn's hand. And the song when Charn and Tinn in the club is so amazing too. MAY I KNOW THE SONG NAME? IT'S REALLY GOOD, I like Silvy too
Can't wait to see next episode. The story is really good that I will keep watch this drama.

It's Fantasticcccc!!!!!
You all be givin' reviews after watching just one episode. That's not fair! I can only say that this series is fantastic! The chemistry of the main leads is just amazing! I could watch Charn smile all day long!! My god he's so hot. And the story is spot on. I mean the suspense part is really which makes me more & more curious as to what's gonna happen next! Maybe the supporting characters are a bit annoying sometimes, but the Grandma is good. So, it's basically a BL crime drama. If you are a fan of crime/suspense genre & a fan of BL, this drama is definitely worth watching!

Laws of attraction says do not think twice just watch this series ASAP!
I won't disagree with anyone that there are many plotholes but we all agree that the leads chemistry was just *chef's kiss* ?? and that's the main ingredient for the success of the series. Even though the thrill part can be guessed beforehand but Film and Jam's acting didn't let me skip a second! I'm glad I waited till it finished either I wouldn't be able to wait and watch just 1 ep/wk. Now that I binge watched the whole series in a day, my heart is full ?Not a fan of lakorn but because of this lovely duo I'm willing to watch "To sir, with love"!
Last but not the least Silvy's voice was just cherry on top! She's a diva. Her piercing gaze with that sweet yet confident seductive smile just *AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH*... whenever she was on the screen I couldn't take my eyes away from her!??
There are many things left that can be improved in the future but in the era of fluffy BLs, a genre like this, came to me as a blessing and I loved every second of it ?
My rating- 8/10

For those who need/want a better romance from Film/Jam after their other drama
The biggest motivation (for me) to watch “Laws of Attraction” is to see more of Film and Jam’s romance. I didn’t get enough when they were in “To Sir, With Love” and I liked them to want more. “Laws of Attraction” totally satisfies my need/desire and exceeds my expectations in that respect. However, the drama itself still have many faults. What I Like:
Film’s acting - Film is night and day in this drama compared to his goody-two-shoes role in “To Sir, With You”. I did not expect to see his big eyes to show so many different emotions. I’m so glad he’s casted in a role for him to showcase his acting ability. He can change from a cold-blooded and cunning lawyer, to a lovesick puppy in an instant. What a pleasure to see him in here.
Romance - As I mentioned, this drama satisfies this romance junkie. I love a good enemies-to-lovers trope. The chemistry is excellent between Film/Charn and Jam/Tinn. Tinn loves Film the way he is and doesn’t try to change his cunning ways. He just wishes Charn to not go over the evil side and don’t forget the kind heart he still has inside of him. I wish this drama was not rated G but PG-13. Because, then maybe I would have gotten some decent, passionate kisses instead of the chaste ones. Nevertheless, you can’t miss the chemistry and the love between the two. Ok, there are a few scenes that give me the cringe, but they are limited.
General Acting - I’ve seen quite a few BL dramas these days, and there are some that you really question the acting. Tinn also did great, though might be overshadowed by Film a little. The veteran cast is great. I’ve seen Grandma in a few dramas now and I love her. Grandma and Maya are the dynamic duo I didn’t know I need. The other two younger actors, See and Pearl, might be the weaker ones but not so bad that they are intolerable.
Film’s Outfits - He has the coolest outfits I’ve seen for a male lead in a Thai drama. His shirts are so fashionable and he just doesn’t always wear a traditional shirt/suit. He looks good in white! Without going into spoilers, in the last episode, I really like his non-traditional attire.
Funny supporting cast - I love Grandma and how caring and funny she is. But I love her with Maya as well. I feel cheated that I didn’t see a song and dance with them! Charm’s ex also has quite an entrance. He’s so funny and over-the-top crazy but his scenes are limited so I don’t feel irritated. I also love the niece and wish we have more scenes of her and Tin together.
What I have Mixed Feelings:
Plot Holes - This is a BL drama first, and a crime drama second. There are so many plot holes that don’t make sense. I am not sure if the writing is really bad, or scenes are edited out. I am not sure how Charn survived till this day. I am not sure how this character can survive after a fire and explosion. And how did the fire really start and spread that fast? Why you are trying to hide and not to be found, I am not sure posting on Instagram is a good idea.
Pacing - I found the pacing of the first half slower especially when it comes to the lawsuit. The romance kept me going but there’s not much going on when it comes to solving the crime or the villain trying to cover it. However, it gets better in the second half and I am more invested in the whole story and not just the romance.
Action scenes - They are not good at all. We have a taekwondo teacher and a bodyguard, but their fight scenes are laughable. I don’t think the kick or punch hit hard at all. These scenes could be so much better without slow motion. It was quite annoying to see a punch thrown at regular speed and then another punch shown in slow motion.
Makeup - Too much makeup on the leads! They look so white! Jam looks so much more handsome in “To Sir, With Love” when his natural tan is shown.
Secondary Couple - It’s not a surprise that they get together. But what’s surprising is how they get there. One scene, they are comforting each other. The next scene they’re in bed and finished with the deed. Were scenes edited out? These two characters also lack chemistry together.
Overall, this is a decent watch. If you want to see Film and Jam together in another drama, then I definitely recommend this. But if you are watching because of the lawsuit/crime plot, you will be quite disappointed. I feel that “Laws of Attraction” can actually use a few more episodes to flush out Charn’s background story and give a little more time to develop other side plots, e.g. secondary romance. I have a similar review of the Taiwanese drama “HIStory3: Trapped”. I am glad to see a non-school setting and more mature BL drama. I just haven’t found one that can give me a satisfying plot + mature romance yet.

Good but Rushed at last episodes
I liked the series, It was good till 6th episodes but 7th & 8th were too rushed. Multiple scenes were cut during editing confusing the viewers. Was this review helpful to you?
