Too much teenage drama for me to handle, slow pace
The story is just too much, quite literally too much teenage drama for me to handle. The series is too slow, many unnecessary scenes were not removed during editing, and the ending felt incomplete, including for the side story.
The side stories are too detailed all of a sudden and they just vanish after their part is done of increasing confusion and not having a proper ending before the series end.
The story is just too immature, both the base story and the additional script.
Another thing to notice here is the structure or order of the scenes, it could have been a bit better if the order of the scenes were changed to better present their story.
Acting:
One thing I noticed about Theo's character is too many hand gestures, especially during the start of the series.

Realistic, Simple & Pure, Loved it, Highly Recommended
The movie was just amazing, I think I hardly stopped smiling during the whole movie, the first impression with the 1st couple of minutes continued till the end.It was so Realistic, simple, felt so pure and so brightening.

This was like a ray of sunshine falling upon one's feet peeking out of a thick blanket's end after a night that's been cold & deary. You watch this kind of film when you're doubting yourself & losing a sense of the daily mundane goodness in everyday life, especially when you're thinking too far off into the future.
I was really....really having a difficult day. By the time it was past evening, I was tired and slumped. Thankfully, everything in this comfort of a movie made me happy & lighthearted. What a lovely watch.
P.S It's always such a fascinating thing to me when two far-fetched generations come together to bond over a singular thing that they both love. Kind of makes it much more humane regardless of that gap of age and the imaginary walls of every generation dividing us.

Bad Direction, Script & Acting
While the base story had such a good scope it was tainted with Bad direction and acting. The presentation in the series is very illogical. Even after a long duration the cast never ages.
Because of the base story, the series is worth watching but you need to be very open and keep your brain aside while watching it.
Old review from before it was completed:-
My rating for this series keeps on dropping as I watch the new episodes. The acting is getting worse for all the actors!. Even the guest characters do a bad job at acting and it doesn't help that the script is so poorly written and not structured properly.
The base story is so good but just because its not presented properly, the series isn't highly rated and popular.
Slow-paced, bad acting, direction and illogical script at many scenes took the scope out of such a good base story.
The only thing I like about the series is the base story, that there is a grim reaper whose job is to take souls to the afterlife and a doctor who tries to save lives.
The script has so many plot holes that it either confuses me or I lose focus in it. It doesn't help that the series is slow-paced.
A good scope of improvement is there in the acting, the main and the secondary leads have problems with the correct expressions for different types of scenes.
Where it went wrong
* Direction
* Casting
* Script
* presentation of anything dramatic

Story-wise its nothing new its similar to the enemies to lovers kinda thing. The series gave a bit of bad buddy vibes which i just loved.
I normally don't watch High School vibes but loved this one.

Wont recommend, Immature and Unrealistic
I read multiple positive reviews and comments on the series before starting the series and I don't agree with them at all.The presentation of the series is so immature while the actual script adds too much nonsense and unrealistic scenes/sub-stories that just don't match.
This series is going above and beyond the fantasy world.
I find the series to be boring, wrongly structured and very very slow.
The direction and acting is just too mature to get someone's attention.
Won't recommend watching it.
It has too many plot holes.

Quirky, maturely cute
A series can be spoiled by the start or by the mid or by the end. Each part of the series matter.Every single emotion the character shows matters. Every single facial expression of a character matters.
This series made me realise the intensity, the weightage of that to a great extent.
The starting episodes of the series were so damn funny with a subtle amount of serious scenes covering the story well.
During the whole series including more than half of the last episode I was very sceptical about how the ending is going to be, will it be even satisfied with the direction the series was going in?
The story was kind of a mess, quirky dramatic but not cringy dramatic but it was perfect. It has fewer of those intimate and cute scenes of people in relationships but It's cute in its own way.
Highly recommended!!

Highly Recommended
The movie started with so many funny scenes and it made me laugh. Like half of the people in the reception don't know that the wedding is not between a straight but gay couple. Every time the groom thinks that it will go right this way, it justs.....................Loved it from the start
Moving ahead it also made me sad enough to bring tears to my eyes both sad and happy tears.
The movie is a mix of different types of scenes, and I would have loved it more if it would have been longer.
Amazing acting by the leads, loved the hoodies used and as a bonus, we got such cute leads.

Slow paced and extended
Overall the story is good but the way it's presented becomes a bit boring. The series is too slow and scenes are extended a lot making me think they hardly removed any scenes while editing.Just to be coherent to the story many times the main lead has dialogues that are self-demeaning, including "I don't look so good", which doesn't match with the series.
In the last episode the confession scene between toy & boss was so immature, can expect this from the university series but not between doctors.
Acting was good but could have been better, I blame direction for it.

Incomplete Ending
Ending felt incomplete. It felt as if not jut the base stories but the side stories were incomplete as well, almost every side story you an pick was incomplete. There was no proper chemistry development between the leads, it always went in multiple direction.
Because the story wasn't presented properly, something which could have been great lost its potential.
Acting was good of not just the leads but of side actors as well.
I have seen multiple mini series, only 30-40% of which cover the story properly, this being a mini series as well, its just too short to cover even a single story nicely.

Cute, simple and direct
One of the cutest series I have ever seen. It's simple but not too bland at the same time, bravo. It's direct without much complications, perfect for a light mood.
If you feeling down or you are tired, this series is for you.
The actor who played Aoki's role was fabulous at his work, so cute. In a single scene of just 5 seconds, he showed so many emotions.
Loved it.
The series is of the perfect duration, perfect pace.
Even without showing any intimacy the series has shown, explained the realistic view of teenagers.

One of the best BL
Most series don't share the big problems in people's life. They just focus on small problems and show them as huge ones.I almost missed this series because I knew that it wasn't a cute rom-com BL like most are but a serious one. But this is so much more. I saw so many recommendations for this series and knew I will have to watch it for sure, sooner or later.
The story overall was pretty good, displayed in a beautiful way because of the hard work of the whole team. However the extra ahead / before scenes at the end of episodes added a small confusion. Also even when the leads had a simple and happy ending, I think it would have been better to have a bit more zing in the ending to make it a bit better.
Another thing that made me almost drop this series twice in the first episode itself was the lead seeing the dead girl multiple times.
I think the series would have been way better if there was more chemistry between the leads.

My all time favorite and comfort BL
Bad Buddy is without a doubt one of the best BL I have ever watched. The chemistry between the characters, their acting, the story, the setting is just perfect. The acting and character development of Ohm and Nanon is just flawless.
One thing I would like to suggest to people who are yet to watch this series is not to watch the teasers of the next episodes before watching them, especially the final episode.
I was able to predict the final episode just by looking at the teaser and was a bit disappointed when I watched it as I thought my prediction is just a part of the actual story.
I recently read the novel and found out that the story is quite different from the series, I find that the story is better in the series whereas the ending is better in the novel.
I think the novel's version can be presented as season 2, the timeline being before the final episode.

Brainless Drama, had great potential but they just spoiled it
The base story is great but it wasn't supported at all by the illogical slow-paced script and childish direction. The start of the series was too dramatic and whatever character buildup was done in the 1st episode it wasn't supported at all by the remaining episodes.
The character's personality changed in every single episode.
Both the acting and the makeup (the presentation) of Kuea's character is too childish. His acting is good except for every scene in which he cries.
Direction is bad and you can easily tell that. For Eg. in the scene where Kuea is crying at his grandpa's death and Dian comes, Kuea keeps sitting on the chair after Dian offered him a handkerchief to wipe the tears, it would have been presented better if, at the time, he would have hugged Dian.
The series went from good, to bad to worse to good and to average. Nothing was consistent in the series.
To be frank, I liked the acting of most actors in the series, but what went wrong was the acting didn't properly match with the base story and their character and I blame the direction for it.
What I didn't like
* Script is too childish and illogical. For eg. why would the competitors be VIPs at Jay's pub.
* Slow paced. The duration between dialogues in serious scenes is just too much.
* Most of the series felt like it revolves around 2 men playing with their significant others.
* We are besties was spoken more than the times Kuea cried, which is a lot. Are they children???
* Multiple scenes/sub-stories are introduced in the script just to support 1 scene, even when the whole script doesn't matches
with the scene at all
* There is no character build-up, the character's personality changes every episode.
* Backstory provided for the secondary couple is incomplete and less focused.
Another illogical scene:
Ep 5, how couldn't Kuea hear the same music running in the background of Dian that was running in the back of Jay's

directed by a dramatic teenage kid
The base story is good with huge scope but how it was presented took away the life from it.Every single episode surprised me, every single one.
Its not just dramatic, its dumb and toxic.
I don't understand why this needed more than 5 episodes.
this is the definition of creepy obsession, and stalking!
wouldn't recommend it to anyone mature by mind who doesn't have a flare for drama.

One reason that I didn't like the season was changing of the genre of the series, while season 1 was romantic, simple and cute in its own way, season 2 chose a very different direction. The 1st season was amazing with a perfect ending and with a good scope of taking it ahead to another season.
Coming to the 2nd season, for whatever reason, the lead actor wasn't in the series (either the actor didn't want in or they fired him), the story was most definitely affected by it with a big plot hole trying to be covered up by placing a mystery over it and having the whole season seemed like it was made to solve it but ending still having it unsolved.
The reason given behind the character's disappearance didn't just add up and felt illogical.
Now coming to the story while ignoring the disappearance, the 2nd season seemed force even when there was a good scope for the story. Things just happened, just like that without a proper reason.
If we consider 2nd season as another story altogether maybe it would have perfectly or at least in a lot better way.
