all the cliches in 1 drama
It's such a good one to watch when you don't know what to watch. It's simple but also has such good moments that make you kick your feet. The cast is incredible, some scenes were a bit fake but I think that's because they wanted to do it fast. It's a 30min per episode and it only, so some scenes/plots seem a bit rushed. As the review title says: it has all the cliches you could imagine and they did it in a good way.
(spoiler here)
Loved the way he thought about her opinion and feelings about having a child of their own. That's not something usually shown and I really like it.

Cute for what it is
I found this drama from edits online, which were just the cutest so I was excited to watch it. And it definitely delivered on the chemistry of the main leads. Of course the trope of high school classmates/first loves meeting again is over done, but they made it fun to watch. Even their fake/contract relationship came about okay.Just from watching the show you can see they didn’t have a big budget, but that shouldn’t hinder from writing a good story. It felt like all the scenes was just to move the plot forward without much substance. It felt choppy and rushed. Even them suddenly getting married without ever really dating and didn’t even properly date AFTER they got married felt so weird. The actors definitely had the chemistry to make some magic from a badly paced script. The ending does make me forget the bad parts, that kid actor was so so loveable! + love the greenest flag but naughty scheming ML.
Hope we get to see the main leads in a better written drama in the future.

Simple Sweet Short..
1. Its a drama about how two high schoolmates meet again years later and fell in love with each other.2. But what FL does'nt is that she is the ML's longtime crush.
3. Starts on a sweet note and continues to be sweeter...
4. Although there is little misunderstanding in middle, it does'nt lasts 1-2 episodes.( includes some separation )
5. There is a character who also loves FL but does'nt create much problems and lasts only 3 episodes.
6. Now we have our sweetest and cute couple ( SML and SFL ), who starts with disliking eachother and falling for eachother deeply.
7. Their journey is quite comedic with some bickering movements and sweet with their real caring for eachother.
8. I like drama when it has 'a start to a complete' kind of feel. Although it's a small drama it manages to tick the boxes.
9. If you want a short, fluffy and light hearted romcom , then this is for you.
10. Must worth a try when you feel a sweet drama.

A good plot wasted.
Honestly, I am disappointed. The plot was the winning recipe : contractual relationship - first love combo, but I feel like they wasted it. The story seems to have missing parts and at some moments leaves you wondering what happened : did you miss something? or is the show just badly produced ?
Some main events just don't make sense and seem to be happening out of nowhere.
Even if they're quite funny, the chemistry between the two leads isn't the best. The female lead sometimes feels awkward and, if she's smart sometimes she just is so dumb too.
I like romantic cdramas because they know how to use the codes of the genre well, even if they don't innove, it's always entertaining.
Not this time. It wasn't bad but I feel like the job wasn't done.
Of course, there's still some good points :
#the plot : like I said, a classic.
#the humour : it's quite funny...
#the actors

Some sweetness for rainy days
PLOT: The ML, a brilliant student, then manager of a company, has been in love with the FL since high school. The FL is a producer, warm and cheerful, but despairs of getting married (repeated failed blind dates). By mistake, she posts a photo that pushes everyone to believe that he is her BF. They make a "fake relationship contract", she live with him, ... and sparks soon appear.PROS:
+ A great ML: Zhang Jiong Min, and a beautiful, natural chemistry in the CL.
+ All the characters are nice (a bit "teddy bear")
+ simple story, without villain
+ A realistic storyline
CONS:
- a bit childish character.
- very classic plot.
=> Pleasant, nice and sweet series, even if "nothing new under the sun"
*******************************************************

This started out so cute. The FL is adorable! However, for such a short drama, they wasted so much time. They skipped all the cute things one would expect to see in a fake relationship. They introduced random other characters for jealousy but it fell flat because nothing was really happening. The main couple got together in such an uninteresting way... I wanted to watch it because of a clip I saw where FL hugs the ML while drunk in front of their colleagues... that remained the cutest part of the drama unfortunately. Was this review helpful to you?
Uncomplicated comfort drama
This was a sweet comfort drama, with quite simple, straightforward story about love that was meant to be.Casting was good - the main couple didn’t have the strongest chemistry, but they were quite sweet together in some scenes.
Second ML was good, and second FL was ok.
As for the story, it is quite uncomplicated and simple as mentioned. There are of course some twists in the story where you might expect more to happen than it actually does.
Conclusion: Easy to watch, leaves you with a good feeling.

50-50
"The Best Day of My Life", consisting of 14 episodes, each 30 minutes long, is a sweet, small, light, and cute romantic drama. Although a few middle episodes were boring, the ending was perfect. Some viewers might find the story cliché because there is nothing new in it. High school love stories like this have been made many times before. The plot revolves around a boy who has had a miserable life since childhood and a girl who becomes a bright light in his dark world. Because he is unable to express his feelings, she never realizes that he likes her, and they end up being separated for many years. When he returns, he still struggles to express his feelings, making it difficult for him to propose to her .This journey of how he proposes and how their story begins is shown in the drama.I like the male lead . I liked second leads' love story .

Circle of Life
You are my origin and also my destination.Scored 10/10 to bring up the ratings. it's a good quick drama to binge and anything lower than 8.0 is unjustifiable.
Real rating: 8.5/10
it was a good watch. I really love Jiang Zhi Nan's Visuals (Xu Mu) big fan of her in all of the dramas I've seen her.
She's really lovely and sweet looking, I wish the best for her.
This was the first drama I've seen her in a main role, and she nailed it imo.
Even though drama was short, but I think the episode number was perfect.
I just wish we have more intimate scenes between the main leads and scenes of their lives with manman!
Luckily, we didn't have a lot of annoying scenes and that's what makes this 8.5+ out of me.
I enjoy dramas with little to zero annoying conflicts.

Cute fluffy typical
Aug. 5, 2024WHOA, finally a Cdrama that I finished without dropping after a long mf time.
The Best Day of My Life is a cute fluffy and typical Cdrama. A cliche that is enjoyable to watch especially in this summer and hot days. Can't believe I finished it within 2 days.
First of all, there are misunderstandings in this drama but it is not as bad as other Cdramas. I mean its annoying but it is not frustrating that you would want to rip your hair off its follicles. The plot prognosis is very predictable but again with rom-com Cdramas, it is up to how you feel with it. I feel like turning off your brain and not thinking too much about the plot will give you a more understanding and appreciation of this drama. It does feel a bit abrupt at times since it has a longer time slot and only is 14 episodes.
The chemistry of the main couple and the second couple are amazing to say the least. I definitely watched it for the both of them. I would say, that there were certain points were the second couple were stealing the show and shining more than the main couple.
As for the second lead male and female, they honestly did not bring anything to the table. They were skip sesh for all their appearance.
Needless to say, I had so much fun watching this show.

It's giving nostalgic love story with great chemistry from the leads and touching ost
I'm really glad to have found this gem, the story was good even though it's just a short drama with 30 mins per episode. If you are a love and first sight trope this is for you. The drama tells the story of two individuals who are fated to each other. You might find some scenes as cringe and unnecessarythat make me irks sometimes but honestly the plot and story line is good. The best part for me is the ML's pov his such a walking green flag here one the two leads has a great chemistry as well, also the ending is satisfying for me. I will definitely rewatch this.

A rollercoaster!
I had hopes with this drama, mostly because I loved JZN in WIFTY and was rooting for her to be the main lead. Now that she is a main lead, I was hoping that the story should have potential. It started off great, the two leads bickering, their back story and of course the office setup. However, it all went downhill quickly. Things were happening so rapidly that I didn't even get time to accept them. For example, the FL moved out of her shared apartment and went on to live with the ML, which is a BIG DEAL. However, in the drama it just happened in a span of seconds and boom, both of them are flat mates now. Atleast it's not normal for me to live with a man without having any second thought.
Then at a point they suddenly got married. Like? No second thoughts, no proposal, no confessions. They just got married. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that why they had to rush the series so much when there was not even a proper explanation of the things that were happening.
The chemistry between the leads was great, but it was not something I would die to see. The second leads were okayish. Usually I beg the directors to give more screentime to second leads, but here it did not happen.
And there were also some unnecessary characters, for example the painter and SML's cousin. Why were they even there? It looked like they were just brought in the story to create a misunderstanding between the two leads. Both the characters didn't even last for an episode, the painter even fell in love with FL but the makers were in so hurry to rush him out that he had to leave the city in just one episode.
The ML did a great job, his eyes are the most captivating thing. As for the FL, I must say she didn't meet my expectations. She was great in WIFTY, but here it felt like she's not being herself. The second leads' acting were okayish.
Overall, the story had potential but they wasted it. No proper character development, unnecessary characters, unnecessary twists and a rushed story. I just wish that both of them receive better script next time. Rooting for them both!
