It's only through reading an article about a small incident in the park with Do Guk that Yi Joo uncovers his ulterior motive. Confronting him, she presses for an explanation, and to her delight, it turns out to be quite heartwarming. To add to the surprise, Do Guk proposes that she reside in his house, minus his presence. Feeling a sense of dependability, Yi Joo cherishes the moment, unaware of the uncertainties ahead. (Source: TVDb)

The important things! That "I love you" from Seo Do Guk was real. He wants her. Whatever it is that she can't remember he's wanted her since. I need that flashback now!!!!! Because that "staged kiss" was not staged. I mean it served his purposes too. But he meant it. This fast just diving in there's no way he'd just commit like that. He wants Han Yi Joo. I loved that he wanted an assertive woman and how much he's listening. How much is is seriously taking care of her.

I suppose it's Han Yi Joo's naïvety from before. She can't see that he's seriuos. That it's more than business. She couldn't even fathom actually talking to him to get to know him, but she dated! She almost got married . . . makes me wonder how that all went. The flashback was just mainly about her putting her own wants out there and projecting on to her ex.

So I give her props for noticing that Yoo Se Hyeok (I think that's her exe)'s mom was up to something, but I can't believe it didn't register to her that filming is probably what the show was for. I was so heartbroken for her when she didn't say "you're son lied to me he loves my sister and you were all using me! You all lied to me!!!" Han Yi Joo will get there. I believe in my girl!

Okay, the cooking class echoed Marry My Husband, but I wonder if this is an actual trope? Or something I've missed out on. Either way that's funny. I am appreciating how much this is separate from Marry My Husband. Not to mention that it clearly does not follow the same time travel rules and that is very much a mystery. Speaking of . . . what happened to Han Yi Joo' s grandfather and why did he want forgiviness? OOOOOOOOOOOO.

Han Yi Joo handled herself so well meeting Soe Do Guk's mom! I feel like she's off to a good start, especially with Seo Do Guk being able to sleep with her around. There's drama in the that family to that we need the dirt on. It was very interesting at the end that it's the two mothers who are the real power and their husbands just role their eyes at each other. It's like they both realized they're wives had the bigger dicks and they were not dealing with anyone but the mom's of power.

Hello ML

I have time to spare for a few more episodes. Found the character that would get me through it. The ML. The weight of carrying the emotional connection falls solely on him, making me want to forgive the off-balance emotions that the FL imbues. The next few episodes will be crucial if she can properly deliver the right amount of anguish and hate. Right now, she still looks muted.

(again) had to stop at the 19 min mark (ノω<。)ノfrom the start of this ep am wondering why Yi Joo is STILL living with those devils. get she might not have money to move. but instead of just hanging around her room - shouldn't she be actively looking for a way to distance herself from that "family"!? so when she finally gets an offer from Do Guk (to move into his place), she's up in arms, cause?!? like r u kidding me \(〇_o)/ is that the time to think about false modesty or societal norms, when the house u r living in is a hellhole?!? where u afraid to eat, getting verbally assaulted at every turn (even physically at times) let alone the rotten cherry on top, getting medicated with who knows what... sorry but that scene annoyed me, she needs to be smarter *****************************************************************************************************************************************the back story with the grandfather is intriguing, what he sorry for?!? why he need Yi Joo's forgiveness?!? until now was assuming Jung Hye hates Yi Joo cause of her mother - as she was with Jin Woong before or behind Jung Hye's back. but now that the grandfather is sorry, feel like their family destroyed/killed Yi Joo's parents... or some such.*******************************************************************************************************************************************also what is Do Guk trauma, what with the restless sleep & does it have anything to do with the animosity between brothers? maybe even Jung Wook's handicap?!? a lot of questions *****************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i really don't get Se Hyeok's mother, she assaults Yi Joo & thinks she will happily accept her son let alone marry into that family after what she & her daughter did to her? like really???

SPOILER ALERT! [10/10]

This episode solidifies that in order for a story to be amazing, it doesn't have to be super original. No matter how cliche or predictable a story is, if the execution is excellent, the story will be engaging and watch-worthy. I hope they will stick to this principle until the end. Just like what I expected before, this episode reveals that the person who called Yijoo when she was on her deathbed is her grandfather. I had a feeling it was him because I'd never heard anyone calling Yijoo's pathetic father as chairman. She visits him at the hospital to get his blessings for her upcoming marriage with Doguk, and she learns that her grandfather did something unforgivable. Nothing has been revealed yet, but I think the grandfather did something to Yijoo's parents. Perhaps, he killed them? Indirectly or not indirectly. I have an idea that maybe he gave Yijoo's father a business project that unfortunately risked his life and the risk took his life. That's why Yijoo ended up in the orphanage. BUT. If that's what happened, that means Yijoo's evil mother came to the orphanage to pick her up. Therefore, the person they were meant to adopt has always been Yijoo and not any other kid. I also suspect that Yijoo's mother might also be adopted, and doesn't want to be associated with orphanages or being adopted anymore. Anyone else cried when Doguk showed Yijoo's room that he prepared in his home? Seriously, he went far and beyond for Yijoo, painted the room, and decorated it to make sure Yijoo feels appreciated, and happy. It looks comfortable and feels like home, which Yijoo has never experienced before. It's hard not to fall in love with Doguk, seriously. So far, I don't see any signs that Yijoo is in love with the man, though. Instead, I believe Doguk is in love with Yijoo already. He tries to convince Yijoo to fall in love with him so the marriage will work, but I think he was subtly confessing his love. I wonder how long it will take before Yijoo falls in love with him, but I'm sure she already has a crush on him. Now, I want to see Yijoo as a queen and not as a damsel in distress! Go Yijoo!
