I knew it!!!! Seo Do Guk is out to wifey up Han Yi Joo for real-zies! It broke my heart to have Han Yi Joo putting up a line again. Even though Seo Do Guk keeps showing that he cares. Not to mention that he wants more! He even asked her "what if I want this to be a real marriage?" Holy drama! The cruelty of it all! I know she's worried about what will happen when the 1 year is up, but dang!!!!

Not to mention that all of the family dramas and ulterior motives are coming out. Jae Won is an interesting character. I thought in the first episode that he had feelings for Yi Joo, but then he was tossing her under the bus. However, he's been liking the new Yi Joo. Espeically after she said she can change and be whomever she wants. And that now he's thinking about changing to Yi Joo's side.

Crazy!!!!

I really want to know what happened in the past with Seo Do Guk's brother. It seems like it's gonna be dark. Like older brother did something and is now making his younger brother pay. All family members of both families are scheming! Not to mention I'm disappointed that Yi Joo keeps going behind Do Guk's back. Making deals to get him back into the family business and such.

Anywho! That ending. Line crossed and all.

Do-Guk telling the truth to Yoo-Ra's face…

Do-Guk telling the truth to Yoo-Ra's face was everythinggggg i wanted. Gled someone finally told her off. And her poor attempt to convince Do-Guk that Yi-Joo still likes Se-Hyeok? I already knew that he wouldn't believe it.

I felt so bad for Di-Guk at the end. I'm 100% positive that he didn't do anything wrong to his brother and that his brother has a victim complex. And i soooo much hate it i can't even describe it. I think it's the same with the kdrama "What's wrong with secretary Kim". Those who've watched it will know.

in-spite of all the backstabbing & conniving…

in-spite of all the backstabbing & conniving going on this was a fun & light ep (in parts). but wondering what Jung Wook's deal is - there were times it felt like he was annoyed/jealous at the fact that his mother approved of Do Guk's intended. also have a weird feeling that he can walk & is just using that cane to keep the lie about Do Guk pushing & injuring him "alive". pretty sure Do Guk didn't push his older brother & there is something dark going on there, given the PTSD*****************************************************************************************************************************************also until now even if i though Se Hyeok was a gutless moron, meek doormat i didn't get him verbally attacking his boss - is he stupid? he so hell bent on helping Yoo Ra, he not mind losing his job??? cause Yi Joo for sure wont take him back (it's made abundantly clear for a while now) so i don't get what is going on in his mind - he doesn't seem stupid\(〇_o)/ btw have to say even though i don't like him, appreciate that until now he has never been aggressive or mean with either female. appreciate that side of him. *****************************************************************************************************************************************Jae Won (Jung Hye's secretary) is another one that intrigues me, what is his deal. thought he was blindly loyal to Jung Hye. why he suddenly "eyeing" Yi Joo. what's his end goal there... *****************************************************************************************************************************************btw loved how Do Guk handled Yoo Ra - the blind trust was perfect. less so liking Yi Joo turning to everyone but the person that all the gossip was about. given his being the only one she can trust & is helping her from the word go - he deserves more of her trust IMHO

Chemistry

The main leads are so good. I mean the concept is kind of fun, too, although nothing groundbreaking with the chaebols, but the actors are just great.

SPOILER ALERT! [8,5/10]

Now we know that Doguk is indeed in love with Yijoo. As a matter of fact, he's already head over heels for her, he tries to give subtle hints that he bears feelings for the girl. I think Yijoo knows about it too, especially when they had ramen for dinner. She draws a line between them not only because she has a year left before she will allegedly die, but because she doesn't want to get distracted from pursuing her goal. The hurt in Doguk's eyes when Yijoo says they cannot have a real marriage, and the worry in his eyes when he knows Jungwook is about to hurt Yijoo says it all. He doesn't only want to protect Yijoo because she needs help, but because he loves her. So far, I don't see any sign that Yijoo is in love with Doguk, and that's okay. After the hurt that she gets from her ex-fiancé and her unloving family, she needs time and space to heal and learn how to love herself again. It's a good thing that Doguk isn't pushy about it and let Yijoo stir the wheel. I'm a little bit disappointed with Yijoo in this episode. I say a little because I believe Yijoo has her reason why she doesn't immediately ask Doguk about what Sehyeok said. As somebody who has been shut off in her past life and been told lies until her death, I wished she had asked Doguk when they met for dinner. Thank God Yijoo didn't seem to show that she completely believed what Sehyeok said. I think what's happening is that Yijoo wants to listen to Jungwook's side of the story first before she asks Doguk what happened. Although this story revolves around Yijoo taking revenge with Doguk's help, I can't help but love the side characters who are related to Doguk. I laughed so hard during the scene when grandma Taeja met Yijoo's grandfather. This isn't a romcom but that scene is funnier than the comedy scenes of supposedly romcom series. This episode reveals that the evil mother's secretary might not be a villain, which is hard to believe. If he's not a villain, then why did he do all that in Yijoo's past life? I do hope that he will take Yijoo's side. It looks like he lied to the evil mother, so I take him as realising that it's better to take Yijoo's side. Let's not talk about Sehyeok. That guy is pathetic, and there's no hope for him. What a fucking loser. Based on the trailer for the next episode, the evil mother will likely arrange a date between Jungwook and Yoora. LOL. I will laugh if Yoora takes an interest in Jungwook. Bye Sehyeok, nobody wants you! And your mother and sister will make your life more miserable than it is! I love the scene towards the end when Yoora is hospitalised and is angry at her mother for something that was their fault. Instead of admitting that shits happen because of both of them, she pins all the blame on her mother. Come on Yoora, it's another story if you're a kid or maybe still 20 years old, but you're a fully grown woman. Gosh, I can't wait for the next episode!
