Healthiest main lead relationship ever

The amount of love i have for this drama is insane❤❤❤. Its just crazy how i keep going back to the 5 episodes that are now out.

I just can't get enough of 'Wandee Goodday'—it's like a warm hug on a rainy day. The chemistry between the main leads in their fake relationship is just pure magic. I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched those 5 episodes. Each scene feels like a masterpiece of emotions. If you're looking for a heartwarming escape, this series is an absolute gem. Highly recommend diving into this cozy world

10/10 recommend❤❤❤

I've been laughing so hard that my stomach hurts.

I liked this show since the first pilot trailer. The actors were not familiar to me, but the story of one night stand on of my favourite genre. First episode got cracked me up, Inn is a very good in comedy. I saw Great only in Manners of Death and i'm happy to see he's getting more recognition. Looking forward for next 11 weeks of chaotic couple and funny moments.

Less expectations! More satisfaction!!

I maybe biased, but i wasnt in good headspace when this series started airing ..and it was like a balm to my soul. I won't lie and tell its very well thought out or has a great twists/plot etc. As the name suggests it indeed made my day all good and happy.
All the actors esp Great , Thor delivered in the emotional scenes and Inn would have had chances to do so if his arc wasnt diminised to 10min screentime..maybe a part about his struggles and how he overcame could have been handled better. Everyone was good (Drake deserves more screentime, almost all his recent projects havent been doing him justice)...Podd made me hate his Ter so much ? so OyeiCher and YakDee will live happily everyafter in my head ❤️
Just sit back and relax and watch it , enjoy and fall in love with the gorgeousness of the cast/characters !!!

I found myself smiling constantly throughout this series.

Fluff, fluff, and more fluff, this story is a perfect, sweet and charming.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this cute bl drama following Yoryak and Wandee as them tries to join the a real boyfriend club. The whole premise ( a fake relationship) is, of course, very theatrical but it’s such an entertaining that I don’t mind at all. This isn’t something to be taken too seriously but still has impactful moments all throughout. This balance of silly second hand embarrassment moments and serious topicswas so well done. When finishing this I was left with a warm feeling in my heart. Yoryak and Wandee ’s romance dynamic is super fun and had so many moments that had me giggling and I cry.The characters were all very like different. They have realistic flaws and worries, which makes the story and character dynamics so much more interesting, fun and touching. Despite each character’s flaws, they don’t make very stupid mistakes like we’re used to seeing in bl serials. Their actions stem from their own experiences, doubts and desires.

I needed something light and fluffy and this kind of worked.

I fell in love with GreatInn ♡

So this is the drama that I would highly recommend everyone. It was funny and I really liked it because it wasn't cringe, the funny moments were seriously funny. But it wasn't just a comedy, there was also sad moments. The acting (as I always say) was not the best, but it's just a drama and it's not that serious so like for the dramas the acting was actually good. There was a lot of representation which I didn't expect. Of course we've had gays, but also Dr.Ter who was bisexual, and even Plakao who was asexual. For me it was first good GMMTV bl drama in this year <3

Good start, but became boring in last few episodes

The start of the series was good, but I started to lose interest after about two third of the series was completed.
It became very repetitive, like something, we have seen time and time again.
Seems like many scenes were introduced, just to increase the reel time of the series.
Acting was good of both the actors, excepts for some specific emotions here and there (Dr Wandee).
I believe the whole city of 12 episodes could have been reduced down to 8 episodes, and it would have turned out much better

Every day can be a good day

We can find happiness in the little things. That's what Wandee Goodday shows us. This series is very intimate, it has a very simple but at the same time deep plot. This story is not only reduced to a romance, but shows all the other aspects of any person's life: family relationships, professional life, internal conflicts and personal growth. It tells us about how its characters feel, their fears and insecurities, their traumas, their dreams and goals, their relationship with themselves and with others.
Not everyone may connect with this story, but I also think it can be a safe, comforting, and encouraging place for many other people. It is not a perfect series but overall it is very satisfying. In fact, for me, the original novel this series is based on pales greatly in comparison. The novel is very superficial but the series has been able to give depth to the plot and its characters and has dealt with many important topics. I really liked that they talked about sexual health and sexual games, asexuality, equal marriage and mental health.

Yak's trauma has been given the importance it deserves. And the representation they have made of that trauma has seemed very symbolic to me: we are our own shadow and our worst enemy. All the guilt and regrets, the demands, the things we don't like about ourselves or that embarrass us, take up more space the more we reject them and the more we want to hide them. The moment we accept it and face it, all of it stops having so much power and influence over us. What happens in the ring during the last fight has been emotional and liberating, as it shows us that, although this process is hard and difficult, in the end we come out stronger. And having an environment that supports you during this long process is key, as it gives you the strength you need.

Dee and Yak have been two great characters. Both are Green Flag.
Dee is sensitive, mature and empathetic. He has a big heart, greatly values the people around him and always takes other people's feelings into consideration. The fact is that Dee has little confidence in himself, he's afraid of being abandoned and he's afraid of not being valid enough to be loved. This makes it difficult for Dee to formalize his relationship with Yak. Meeting Yak really helped Dee value himself, feel loved and respected, and feel more confident. And this process has taken time, just as Yak's own process has taken time, because fears and emotional wounds do not disappear or heal overnight.
On the other hand, Yak is sensitive, respectful and affectionate. He's like a golden retriever. Meeting Dee helped Yak forgive and love himself, grow and dare to do new things.
They both support and motivate each other, care, respect and value each other. They treat each other with great softness, sweetness and tenderness. And between them there is communication, consent and mutual understanding. They have one of the healthiest relationships I've ever seen. Every gesture, every word, every look, every moment between them melts my heart. And I love the flirtation between the two, that game of tug of war.
Great and Inn have managed to convey many emotions to me and with their interpretations I have been able to feel all the love and desire that exists between Yak and Dee.

I also liked the secondary couple. Oyei had to fight a lot and sacrifice to move the family business forward and to help his little brother fulfill his dreams. He had to assume a role that did not correspond to him and was subjected to many pressures and many burdens. I'm glad he has someone like Cher by his side, someone strong to help him carry the load, support him and understand him.

The only aspect that has not completely convinced me has to do with Dr. Ter and the ending they gave him. Otherwise, I loved this series and, in the end, it has become one of my comfort series. It has given me a lot of happiness every week. I'm going to miss this series and its characters a lot.

WAY Better than Expected

Not that I was expecting a GMMTV series to be bad, but damn, was I pleasantly surprised by this one. The two latest GMMTV series I have seen (MY Love Mix-Up and We Are) have been pretty anticlimactic, and honestly, disappointing. So when going into this, I had very low expectations, but I actually had a great time watching.

Let's Dive In.

I remember when this first came out during their showcase, and I was immediately intrigued, mostly because Great from Manner of Death was in this, but more importantly, because it seemed that they were showcasing high heat with a little bit of comedy, and I was ecstatic. Again, I had been so disappointed with the series coming out that I didn't bother getting too excited about this one, but I honestly loved it. Even outside of the BL part of it all, it had my entire heart.

Both Great and Inn have undeniably great chemistry. Yoryak is such a comedic hottie who's the champion boxer, and Wandee plays the awkward cutie who's in competition with another hunk at the hospital. With a little bit of angst and pining, I fell in love with these two. I liked the steady build of their relationship: from friends-with-benefits, to more than that, to the talking stage, to the "Yoryak has to show himself"stage, to then inevitably becoming boyfriends. The NC scenes were honestly the weakest part of their relationship. A lot of the time it was just chest/neck kissing and some intense staring (but they were shirtless, so I'm not going to complain too much). Yes, it was high heat, sorta, but not in the "Only Friends" type of way. It was more of a medium heat, with good kissing. Overall, I was impressed with this new pairing, and I'd love to see them again on my screen.

The side couple was super cute. I will say, I usually love to see the growth of a new relationship, so I wasn't immediately enthralled with Yei's relationship with Cher. They had been established for a while, but they were cute in the way they teased one another and Cher was basically the mom of the group. The wedding at the end is very touching. As for Plakhao, holy hell, I didn't think I'd be seeing Drake on screen, nonetheless paired with somebody! If I'm not mistaken, this was one of the first times GMMTV has explored asexuality to this degree, and I loved it. Although I wouldn't have minded to see Drake shirtless, I'm not upset.

Taem needed to have been paired with a girl, not Pod's character who was the worst person ever. Speaking of Pod, I need him in a leading role, because it was so hard to hate that man when Pod is just as beautiful as ever. He smiled, and I would yell to my screen for Wandee to take him back. Sorry guys, I'm shallow like that.

As for the internal drama in regard to Wandee and Yoryak's past, it was by far my favorite part of the series. 9 and 10 were my favorite episodes because it's what made this BL feel so much more than just a BL. These characters had depths and flaws, and eventually came out of that with such complex development that I was tearful by the end of it. Wandee's grandma, Yoryak's complicated relationship with all the members of his family, -- all of it was just amazing.

My only couple of negatives/nit-picking moments: there's no way that Yorkak had not a bruise or scar or a swollen something on his face after fights. It's so unrealistic that it really pissed me off at times. You mean to tell me a world-class champion made it there without a mark? Please. They tried to redeem Pod's character, but there weren't any redeemable factors about him. In fact, I wish they would have made him more apathetic since we were already almost there anyway. Would have loved a scene where we see him on the phone talking about all the way he'll try to get the position behind Wandee's back.

Ratings:

Story: 8.5/10 - The best part about the series, and that even means outside of the BL aspect. Loved the story, loved the development of the characters, and love the couples.

Acting: 9/10 - Great did a fantastic job, being able to go from being funny, to crying, to being in love. Inn does just as good of a job, and quite honestly, the entire cast did great.

Music: 7/10 - I was kind of obsessed with the theme song, especially the oddly placed moan at the end of it.

Recommendation Value: 8/10 - This series is memorizing, and not just as a BL, but so much more than that. I'm hopeful that others can see the beauty behind it, because there is a lot to unpack and you can get easily distracted. but if that's not motivating enough, this series is literally a bunch of hot guys boxing and being shirtless and kissing. No gripes here.

Not what I expected at all in the best way possible!

I don't even know where to start. I'm here after the third episode and so far I have nothing but good things to say about this show.

First and most important thing, THE CHEMISTRY. oh my god, Great and Inn are doing an excellent job with the acting and the tension between them. They're doing it in a way that seems effortlessly charming. (If Dee doesn't fall for Yor by the end i sure will. I already have at this point.)

The story is quite classic and cliche but so far they're doing an amazing job with playing it out and I'm so excited to watch it unfold. I'm just hoping so bad they don't mess it up along the way.

I don't think I've said it enough but Dee and Yor are so freakin cute together omg. Also it's comic in a sort of cringey but in a good, and genuinely funny way.

I love shows like this!

I’ve been trying to find a feel good sweet lovestory with just enough drama and this is perfect for me! it has great casting, good acting and such a sweet and interesting story.

I’ll admit that it’s not a ‘crazy’ story with major plot twists and stuff like that, but personally I don’t really like too much drama cuz it gives me anxiety haha~ so this is actually perfect. I love the chemistry between the main couple, but what shocked me most was how good of a chemistry Oyie and Cher had (I’m usually a sucker for the side couples as long as it’s not a ‘forced’ relationship, so you can imagine I loved them).

all in all I’d say if you enjoy a good story with a lot of sweet talk and good vibes I recommend you watch this. I don’t usually leave a detailed review so just know I’m serious?they are so cute!

Typical GMMTV show with many spicey scenes but not much substance

After the first three episodes I did expect a more mature story with dark streaks and interesting twist. But as usual when watching a GMMTV show in most cases you get disapointed. The lead couple at least compensated with great chemestry and some sensual moments which really were done well.

Would it not have been for the lazy writing this show could have been actually good. It seems like for GMMTV BLs are just a mass market product where the focus is pleasing aesthetics (actors and filming) and a shallow story which does not require much brainpower. The most annoying thing is, all characters are really flat, there is no character development at all, there are always some clichés involved and there is always a bit of sillyness or childish behaviour, unnecessary story elements or elements not explored enough.

The first BL side couple was of course cute but Fluke was a bit stiff at times. The second BL side couples did not really have a story at all, it just "happened". And then is Dr. Ter, first rejecting Dr. Wandee, then forcing him and then he finds a girl - WTF?
The conflict between Yoryak and his fathers felt strange, because if you hold a deep resentment against a family member both would struggle to solve it. Most of the time the characters are not overly mature, so to have a nice ten minutes chat and it's solved is a bit unbelievable. Also the nightmares of Yoryak were not explored deep enough, we did not see any therapy session and so his resolves feels out of place for me, As I said, lazy writing.

Overall it's not a bad show, but it lacks in story-telling.

turn off your brain so you can enjoy it

I smiled and laugh a lot watching this, really enjoyed! I loved! But it is kinda not so good though, I don't want say it's bad but it's kinda yk. I felt really nice like I needed to watch something like this just enjoy some cliche and stupid content. Watched all episodes in two days so what I have to say first is: as much as I loved and enjoyed each episode this show is not very good or very well done, There are some flaws that cannot be ignored so to me 7.5/10 it's an ok note, some people make this seems worse than it is.

What I loved the most:
- very fun to watch when you need relax and not think about anything
- actors in they 30 years old, love it.
- main couple has good chemistry and funny dinamic
- we have one assexual character!! (despite not having been worked on)
- our boy Yak is a bisexual!
- cute and ridiculous at the same time
- cringe but not the kind that makes you wanna die
- HPV vaccine awareness campaign!!!!!!!

What I didn't like:
- that bizarre parallel edit of the nsfw scene of the second couple mixed with the main couple (ep 6 or 7) what the hell was that? WEIRD!
- Wandee didn't had a trauma development. He was afraid of cross the street, seeing some memories of a woman being hit (?) by a car, we saw theses scenes few times then nobody talks about that. Wandee didn't talked about that, so what's the reason for that???
- A character that nobody cares about is suddenly a bad guy just to slow down Yak, there was no need for Taem to be harassed.
- Bad direction and edition, some characters seems to be off idk
- Didn't talked well enough about assexuality and made seems that it's about don't like sex.
- Dr. Ter. Just hate everything about him, that dude was lacking and was poorly written character

Despite everything I had a great time and would recommend it. I'm in love with Yoryak.
