it isnt as bad as what other reviews said

maybe because mandarin is a language i speak almost everyday and I ve watched plenty of Chinese and korean dramas, but I don't find the plot confusing or messy. Yes, you have to understand what they are saying and honestly, subtitles don't seem to do the show justice. Basically, its about a girl who travelled to the present from 10 years ago [2011] due to a super full moon energy wave after her boyfriend pushes her from a cliff [not a spoiler] because of some secrets she know. in the present [2021], she met the male lead as the universe tied them together and they discovered all the secrets [she lost her memory as she travelled here] like who set a trap and conned his father etc midst of this main story line, there's someone using her for scientific research and they made her return back to time [2011] which allowed her discover more secrets. i wont speak more about the plot but its worth to watch if you like mystery solving! i will update this review when the last 6 episodes uploads :D

EDIT: COMPLETED
FREAKING WORTH TO WATCH, I CRIED MY ASS OUT. THE ENDING IS SO BAD BUT SO GOOD PLEASE WATCH JUST FOR THE SAKE OF THE ENDING. EP 18-24 IS WHERE SHIT STARTS, WHERE IT GETS REAL AND SO SAD 10/10

Satisfied

I watched all episodes , and I enjoyed this drama. In particular , last 6 episodes were fully satisfied .
Male lead acting is wonderful. This drama role is soft and IT geek . looks about 25 years old , another drama "Stealth Walker" role is smart tough guy, looks about 35 years old. The other drama"Sleepless Princess"role is fierce General(but inside gentle and lovely).
He can act various roles , so I wasn't able to discriminate a same actor.
He is able to act a wide range performances. Other idol actors usually play one pattern idol role , but He is different.
Also female lead acting is great. She is a beautiful lady , in particular her crying face is so beautiful .
Though I watched her first time , now I am a big fan of her.

Intriguing Story, Great Acting

This story reminds me of the 1993 movie “Groundhog Day”. It stars Bill Murray who portrays a cynical television weatherman covering the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. He becomes trapped in a time loop, forcing him to relive February 2nd repeatedly. This drama has a similar storyline whereby a young girl encounters a life threatening event and is trapped in a time loop to relive her life changing moment, and eventually she conjures up the courage to break away from it.

Xu Xiaodong (Zheng Yecheng) is an artificial intelligence genius. For 10 years he has been trying to find out the person behind the scheme that has stolen his father’s work and slandered his father for plagiarism that has led to his death. Xu Xiadong is devastated and has been living through his pain. I have always liked Zheng Yecheng. I have been rather disappointed with the endings of most of the characters he has played in his previous dramas. Here, as a hidden genius with a sense of humor, Zheng Yecheng has brought his character to life. He is really convincing with great acting.

Lei Chuxia (Ju Jingyi) is a business owner. After a life threatening event, she disappears and travels 10 years to the present time and meets Xu Xiaodong. She repeatedly returns to 10 years ago and back, trying to figure out what has happened and how to change the outcome of the events. Despite of her unfortunate encounter, she always remains cheerful and optimistic. Ju Jingyi is beautiful with a natural happy-go-lucky aura that fits the Lei Chuxia character so well. With wonderful acting, Ju Jingyi gives us a very genuine and lovable Lei Chuxia.

All the side couples are great though initially I didn’t like Zheng Fanxing’s acting very much but as the story progresses, his acting becomes more natural and his character Jin Xiaorui very adorable.

My Verdict

Even though unthinkable and a fantasy, I really like the story. It makes me think of the “what-ifs”. What if I can time travel and go to the future and see the outcome of my decision like Lei Chuxia does, and then go back to the past to fix my choices. Changing my choices may definitely change the outcome, but doesn’t necessary mean a better one. These thoughts play on my mind while watching this drama, and help me look deep into myself. This story believes that there are many paths to get from point A to point B. If you persist, you would always reach your destination, no matter which path you take. Do you have any regrets that you wish you could go back to 10 years ago to fix? Do you believe you’ll always reach your destination no matter which paths you choose if you are determined enough?

Great entertainment. Great watch!

My honest review

This is is actually not as bad as it may seem, i quite enjoyed it. I love Ju Jing Yi the FL, the ML I've only seen him in supporting role in Love 020, but he did a great job in this, loved his character.

This may sound weird but I've seen 4 other shows with ju jing yi, one was a supporting role, and tbh her acting was pretty good, but this one for some reason it wasn't the better, it was more so just a few scenes i feel like the director/producer or the write some scenes emotions should have not been what it was idk it was a bit weird.

The chemistry was okay, again its not a bad show, when they fully got together or when they get closer you feel it more.

I actually enjoyed the whole time travel troupe tbh, I don't know a lot about scientific stuff, but from an entertaining perspective it was not bad.

However, this is what made my rating drop from an 8-8.5 to a 7.5. The ending was too cruel. I'm sure with the dialogue from the FL it meant she created a new timeline, which is timeline B. So that means the xaio dong she fell in love with and who was crazy about her is still in timeline A?, even though she got another chance with the xaio dong in her new timeline, timeline B. I can't be happy, usually I'm open minded, but this makes me way tooo sad, I'm just thinking how heartbroken and sad he must be. Its so hard to feel happy, though I'm understanding and that's the best ending logically, its still super sad. The only thing i can say is since he mention they couldn't find the moms ring and chu xia have it from timeline A, it came back with her when she disappeared. So that might mean otherwise, it may be it's really him? just my own speculation, who know?!. And that's the thing, you may feel like how i feel or you may feel optimistic. It would be up to you to decide.

Soooo because of that, i really didn't know how to rate the show. The ending part was my biggest issue, other than that the show itself isn't that bad, try not to read too many of the comments and after seeing my review, decide on your own if you want to watch it or not.

PS. After thinking about it for a few days i came back and changed the rating to 8.0 from 7.5, i think that's a more mature and understand rating lool

Happy ending or bad ending? I'll give you the quick and simple answer.

Drama left such a bad taste that I felt strongly to make an account to leave a review. I'll give you guys the quick and simple answer. Female lead had a happy ending. Male lead (the one we watched grow and bonded with the female lead) did not have a happy ending.

**** everything under this could be ignored. It's just extra details to fill in the words required to leave a review

I understand she did all she could but at the same time I felt she was cold hearted. They could of at least given the future male lead a closure. Nothing but a heart broken man. She went into his timeline and made him fall in love, just to leave him broken in the end.

Great Soundtracks. Lack of Anything Else

The soundtracks is fresh, catchy, and easy listening from the opening and the motion songs. The plot idea actually quite interesting, but man...for something scientific this movie is rushing everything just for the last 4 episodes.

Zheng Yecheng & Yalkun Merxat (Mi Re) is the ones that give 110% performance, anyone else is lacking of emotions. Even Ju Jingyi doesnt look sincere in almost every episode, unlike when she played Legend of Yunxi. Ju Jingyi always looks overdressed in this movie, what on earth does the producer wants to picture her as? Her dress, her acts, her purpose just didn't get align.

When talking about alternate universe or multi-layered world, it doesn't mean everything is similar or even synchronize because it actually run at different time lapse resulting in different life. So, logically speaking, Xiao Dong in the last episode wouldn't the same Xiao Dong that Chu Xia left before. Unless this movie forgot to mention that Chu Xia get back to the last universe she entered. The Xiao Dong that Chu Xia left is still remembering her, still felt heartbroken. The story maker try to connecting the wedding ring in-between world but still, it lacks of presentation because as I said, the alternate universe goes along one another. So even if Xu Wei Yi lost her wife wedding ring in current universe doesn't mean its the same wedding ring that Chu Xia wears on her necklace.

As opposed, the FL really has tremendous impact on others, unlike other drama that FL just playing pretty and do nothing serious. In this drama however everything seems based on what FL did and ML helping her big time. The FL also making huge sacrifice in the end resulting deeper motion meaning (and tears jerking, of course). Man, the heartbreaking is serious in here!

I hope the producer could closely learn from Christopher Nolan movies before making this sci-fi drama. In every Nolan movie, he explained everything clearly just in a span of 2,5 hours! So, I don't think the ending in Love Under The Full Moon is satisfying. Perhaps if producer could take time and make another 4 or 6 episode to gradually developing the story line then this would be a great drama.

What a journey! Worth a watch for the feels.....

I really enjoyed this drama, strong acting from the cast, particularly love the chemistry between the FL and ML. This drama had my emotions all over the place, one minute I was laughing out loud, the next I was bawling my eyes out, at times I felt frustrated and angry at the injustice, at the actions of the characters and the unfolding events.

The storyline was by no means logical-lots of plot holes here and there, but I didnt mind it at all. Initially, I was entertained by the comedy element of the drama, then post-second half I was emotionally invested in the FL character, and her journey and the choices she made for the person she loved.

This drama focuses quite a lot on the importance of relationships and having a strong support system-that of family, of friends, of co-workers, of belonging to a community (here being online gaming), of neighbours, and obviously, of that special someone, who forms your universe. Makes me feel more appreciative of the people in my life.

I am so glad I stuck to the end and didnt let the first few episodes put me off. It certainly had high entertainment value for me. Well, worth a watch in my book!

PS: I wouldnt really classify this as a 'happy' ending. I think it's more open-ended.

Great premise. Poor execution

I enjoy stories that explore multiple timelines, with sci-fi and even a love story thrown in. So when I read the synopsis for this show along with seeing the starring actors I thought this might be pretty good.

It started off strong, with what appeared to be a mysterious chase through a snowy forest only for the protagonist who looked to be trying to escape some threat strangely appearing in a world 10 years into the future. When this happened I thought now things are about to get really interesting. Only for the story to completely stall out in an effort to build a romantic rapport between the leads.

First off, though the situation was strange and understandably difficult for the leads to wrap their heads around what exactly was happening, it didn’t make sense that the very intelligent AI which could solve very complex problems couldn’t make the very simple deduction, based on the sum of all the events, that the anomaly of the FL showing up the way she did was connected to the Super Moon. But I gave that a pass. Then the ML allowed the FL to stay in his home for what appeared to be weeks, knowing that she had amnesia, claiming he was going to help her find her family, but his only attempt to help her do that was take her around the city.

He didn’t bother to take her to a doctor, who may be able to help her or look up missing persons cases. He just took her shopping and to different locations around the city. Hoping something would jog her memories. Ok. So the writers were killing time in an attempt to build a strong foundation for an eventual romantic pairing between the leads. Again, I let it ride. Then this guy from the FL’s previously life, decides to ask her parents to close the book on their missing daughter so that he can be free to move on with his life. I’m thinking because they were engaged to be married or maybe even were married. But nope, they were just dating. So why the need for the parents to let go so that he can move on with his life? Then he proceeds to do a live stream of a memorial service he’s orchestrated, without the parents consent, to declare his GIRLFRIEND dead. Again why? She was only his girlfriend. No one would begrudge him moving on with his life after she’d been missing for 10 years. I again suspended disbelief.

However, when the FL finally found out her name and pretty much had no interest in vigorously pursuing her past and who she was, I was too done. Instead she was more interested in making googly eyes at the ML. Sigh. Then wasting time on nonsense like opening dessert stores and avoiding her parents for reasons that were deemed legitimate but could’ve easily been overcome with a little creative thinking. But the writers wanted to stall the story and create unnecessary “angst” and “drama” for the FL. This show had an interesting premise, but unfortunately spent way too much time on the boring stuff and storylines that didn’t make sense but were forced on the audience to create the narrative the writers wanted , a love story at all cost, even if the story in which the love story grew made no sense.

The actors did the best they could with the material, but that was about it. I wouldn’t recommend not even wasting your time watching. There are many other love stories with a sci-fi twist out there, that does a much better job with execution than this series.

The Best Science Fiction C-Drama in 2021

"I depart from summer, while you look back from winter, then let us meet in the autumn. No matter what happens, the universe will allow us to meet once more."

Story :
It isn't really that bad, I personally not science fiction drama fan and found this drama quite good. Altough the timeline a bit messed up, but all the actions of the lead is reasonable but for the villain, I don't understand why he so obsessed with the female lead at first and later he hated her for being exist in his world. This is what makes the story a bit weird.

Acting :
I don't really expect anything from Chinese actors and actress because I found them the same. There's nothing special that can make the actor/actress shines more but for the chemistry they're better than others. This is my personal opinion but I found it weird to look at Zheng Ye Cheng and Ju Jing Yi acting together, it's just their visual very contradict. Zheng Ye Cheng is manly and cute at the same time but Ju Jing Yi visual is like a fairy.

Music :
Not only good to be hear but the lyrcics matches well with the characters situation and the melody makes the atmosphere between the characters come to live.

Rewatch value :
I found them quite sweet but that's not what I'm looking for, It's not enough for me, I prefer rewatch other sweet drama that matches my preference.

To conclude, It's worth to watch

Love the idea behind

This is my first review here. I would say that this drama is indeed interesting. The idea behind the story is quite good. And I do not expect that the author can capture the idea of time travelling very well. This one is different from other time-travel dramas. Everyone should watch it. It is not a stressful drama to watch, and it has a good ending.

However, I find it weird that the problem of Chu Xia (time travelling) is not leaked to the public. Other students are also there in the lab; Wang Yi Xin is just one.

Regarding acting, all of them did very well, but stylish outfits of the FL are sometimes unnecessary.
