Intriguing premise but too shallow
I regret that this film wasn't able to reach it's full potential. I just can't stop thinking this could've been more if the writers bothered to make more depth out of the characters. The casts were really good though in portraying their characters.First of, I love the idea of the plot about the alter world because even though Alter isn't a real app, let's be real a lot of people have their alter world. This film explored an alter world where people are damn horny and it could possibly be but there are way more vast kind of people in the alter world. They mainly focused on this distress female lead finally deciding to taste the alter world for herself to unwind from her reality and to relieve stress only to find someone she knows in the past to help her. But the film didn't even bother to let us know why the male lead was even there in the first place.
I felt like they had good intentions but it can make people misunderstand those people who has alter world as someone who craves attention and sex. They could've explored why? Why does people have to need an alter world? The female lead didn't also get away fully from her problem. Although the male lead was able to learn a lesson from what happened. It was kind of messed to be honest.
This is a pretty decent film anyway. I mean it's something you can watch from start to finish. I just feel like it could really be something more.
