Reviews
Story- So reading the synopsis you don't really get much. The mother making the marriage deal with the younger main female character is really the smallest part of the plot. The bigger story lies in the entanglements of the older adult characters. Their story pretty much takes over most of the plot with the romance btwn Park Ye Jin & Jung Gyu Woon's characters being the underlying plot. There's many twists thrown in that does make this a worthy drama to watch. I didn't like the ending all that much for the older adult characters because it seemed so messed up. The ending for the young couple was good but I felt like the writers kind of treated it like it was no big deal. The biggest problem that I had with this drama is the fact it was way to long. It really could have been done in 18 episodes max. Towards the middle I got tired of the older cast's storyline and therefore fast forwarded through a lot of their scenes. I even skipped like 3 episodes towards the end just so I could get it over with.
Acting- The older female leads did a solid job. I felt thier pain and felt sympathetic towards thier characters even thought they both could be called villains. I had no sympathy for the older adult male lead. His acting seemed fake and I just didn't like his character at all. As for the young leads, Park Ye Jin did a decent job acting wise because she actually showed some expression. In contrast, Jung Gyu Woon really was solid. He portrayed his complex character so well.
Music- Fit the scenes well but it wasn't memorable.
Rewatch- It's low because I can't watch this whole drama again due to the amount of episodes. I would get bored easily.
Overall, if you like dark dramas with really complex characters, and have a lot of patience, I would say give this one a try.

this drama is made for older audience.
I got this as recommendation when I finished watched Cindrella and the four knights. The synopsis also seemed similar where the ML is rich, spoilt, playboy. His mother comes across FL who has average family background but is smart, confident and hardworking. She tries to pair her son to the FL to tame him of his bratty lifestyle. So the drama started with mother of the ML who gets into accident and after that the synopsis follows. But then it takes a 360 degree turn and the story focus is the older people and their adultery. ML father and mother both are tied together in loveless marriage. This drama is made for older audience, why the synopsis is based on kids I don’t understand. They were just like supporting character.t he leading lady is han myong in and whole story is based upon her. How she manipulated everyone and then she also expected everyone to be good to her. I was so sick of her.
Acting was top-notch by everyone.
Park Ye Jin in her character of the ambitious Choi Yoon Hee was excellent. The emotions that she poured into the character was really great and she allowed viewers to understand Choi Yoon Hee from different angles. I also loved Jung Gyu Woon as Lee Min Soo. Although he came off as a little attention seeker, I felt the scars that he got and understood his character.
But TBH I didn’t enjoy the older people screentime and skipped plenty of the adults’ scenes and mostly watches the drama for Jung Gyu Woon and Park Ye Jin’s characters.
Although I skipped parts of drama whats funny is I still got the whole story and didn’t feel that I missed any parts. I wished if it focused more on the young generation rather than adults. Ofcouse many would like it but I think from the way that SYNOPSIS is the main storyline but this drama main storyline was the adults love square.
Honestly I wont recommend it. Neither I would have a rewatch.
