Would have been on my list of best Kdramas of the year IF Lee Jong Suk and Kang So Ra had ended up together.. but no.. The writer fooled us in to thinking they still have a chance right until the last episode Lol.

The story wasn't bad. the acting was good. Just got a bit confusing in the middle because it didn't make sense.. they could have gone in to more detail with the other characters backgrounds but overall I enjoyed this drama a lot. I didn't see any point of Sistar's Bora being in it since she was only in it for like 10 minutes in the whole drama.

I didn't like the ending, and I'm sure a lot of you wont but it's a fun watch, would definitely recommend it.

Hello everyone.

After the first episodes I thought the story was pretty cool for its intensity and definitely promising, but after a while it was perfectly clear they had no idea how to put it together in a coherent way. A lot of things in this drama made no sense at all, like the President´s behavior when he found out what was going on and how easily he ignored the whole situation, almost like building up people´s expectations and leading them to nothing.

Another flaw in this drama was the fact that only Lee jong Suk's character developed while the rest of the cast pretty much stayed the same, even though this drama is characterized by putting its characters through hardships that should've instigated even the slightest change in their personality.

Despite acknowleging the hard life the main characters had since a very young age, I didn't want Han Seung Hee to end the way she did because Jin Se Yeon's acting made her look fake, cynical and unpleasant, making her seem completely out of place. The whole drama involving her identity didn't help either, because while it was interesting and intriguing in the begining, it became a neverending boring drama that only confused the audience.

Honestly the last episodes were lame and full of unrealistic situations. The poorly done ending showered with this drama's characteristic predictability made me question my friend's sugestion to watch this drama. This time not even Lee Jong Suk´s outstanding acting could save him from this drama, that just like his hair, was a mess.

AMAZING cast/characters!!!!! Lee Jongsuk is extremely talented and I've loved every single moment I've seen with him. Also, Bora from Sistar is a supporting character and she was superb. The general idea for the story was great, but when it came to the detail and drawn out storyline, I was very unimpressed. I saw it about a year ago and I barely remember anything that was actually relevant to the story. The ending was horrible and disappointing. I would recommend watching for those who like the actors, because they do a great job! The idea was pretty good, but the main male and female didn't have as much chemistry as you'd think and LJS had much better chemistry with the supporting roles (to the point that I hoped he would end up with one of them).

Two words: wasted potential. When I started watching this drama it was: wow, if they can lead it the right way it'll be something wonderful, but honestly the last few episodes it was... bad very, very bad. In my opinion this could be something really amazing, but unfortunately they ruined everything. I'm sad, I liked it, but after watching it till the end I just feel disappointed.
Overall: first episodes were great, later it was worst, but bearable, the last few episodes were horrible, with some good moments but still horrible.

What was that???

I would give 9-10 point to the first two episodes. They were awesome, refreshingly realistic for me. The story was interesting. But after that charm has totally gone...

The story has become absurd after first two episodes. And they show it so slowly and boring as if the creators just don't know what to put there to fill all 20 episodes. That feeling when the creators are forced to make something but have a writer's block (crisis). I couldn't watch full 20 episodes, I skipped many scenes. I just scroll though the series to understand how the story goes. Most of the scenes seem mess, waste and lack of common sense.

And are Koreans really so mean and jerks to each other?! I hope that's so just in the drama.

Well, the drama has a lot of flaws. I think the creators would think better about a good impression for viewers, and less about the money they make form it.

I don't think Lee Jong Suk's acting is good. I still could feel that he is pretending. He is just so much handsome! Well, I could enjoy at least seeing that handsome guy though the drama.

I gave 3 point only for the awesome first two episodes. Only 3 - because other eps really lacks for me.

i began this drama without any expectations
the reviews were between supporter and opposer

so i decided to watch it myself and i wished i didn't :(

first of all i prepared myself for such a bad epilogue as usual in KD's
but this exceeded all my expectations

very very very very veeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrry annoying and bad end
the end was too rush after annoying us with many unnecessary details

the main FL she is extremely bad actress since i watched her in (high end cruch)
and still bad as she was
extremely dead face expression

starting from ep 17 the drama goes down the hill
illogical events
some main characters disappeared without any logical reasons
i saw that end was completely unfair for park hae jin
he has been wronged
his end annoyed me so much i saw it was really unfair for him
and after all what he went through he had to apologize for whom who ruined his life
and lost his love

they annoyed us with repeated scenes
like the two main leads had been shot tons of times and fell from the bridge
same scene many times just different places
and got towards the end they didn't say anything about the others and what happened to them just passed quickly through their news

and this stupid time jump
they didn't explain the reason behind
and suddenly they made us saw kang so ra holding park hae jin hand
really?????
as if he was just a spare man for her
while she even didn't try to search for him for a whole year
but suddenly she decided to get back to him although she still loves lee jong suk

totally nonsense
MEH :\

Perfect balance between romance and action.

I love how they added the perfect amount of romance to the drama, they didn't push it, instead they added mistery to it.

The backstories where where unique and interestingly contrastring. They both came from a hard childhood, one holding a grudge, while the other is helping people from the goodness of his heart.
Giving the message to do what you can, don't linger in the past which you can't change, and live your live to the fullest

I will definitely give it a rewarch in the future !

I am so on the fence about this drama. It had such a strong start with a number of different moving storylines. Yet, I feel like all these story lines kinda trickled out. Even so the majority of the leads did an excellent job. Lee Jong Suk had probably one of the most compelling performances even compared to his roles in W and Pinocchio. His depiction of the lead makes his character very likable and touching in parts. Both Park Hae Jin and Kang So Ra had very notable performances too. I have to say the weakest part of this drama has to be Jin Se Yeon's character. I'm not sure if it's a flaw in the writing or just Jin's acting ability. I think from the beginning of the drama the audience is supposed to question Jin's intentions, but the drama is never able to aptly prove to the audience that they are seeing her genuine feelings ever. So Lee's dedication and love for a character most of the viewership can't trust becomes this drama's fatal flaw. I think this drama missed the mark in the later episodes. I do still think Lee Jong Suk and Park Hae Jin fans should still see this drama, just prepare yourself.

I don't like dropping dramas which is why I tend to push through and watch the whole thing no matter what, but this is the first actual time that I really needed to force myself to keep watching. If it weren't for the brilliant cast and the gorgeousness that is Park Hae Jin (excuse my bias, but can you blame me, really!?), I would have dropped this a long time ago.

Wasted potential. That practically sums up this drama. Convoluted, repetitive and just outright ridiculous plot lines that, in the end, seemed to have served little to no purpose in the first place. The redeeming points were definitely the OST and the cast which, for the most part, did an amazing job bringing their poorly developed characters to life. I say for the most part since unfortunately, Jin Se Yeon failed to deliver any sort of emotion in most of her scenes, which is why I felt it extremely hard to develop any sort of feeling for her character.

Doctor Stranger went from a 9 to a 6 in my book. Probably would've been a 4 if not for the great music and the amazing performances of Lee Jong Suk, Park Hae Jin, Kang So Ra and Chun Ho Jin in particular.

Overall, a huge disappointment.

The second female lead syndrome is real.

This drama is perfect for medical students or someone interested in shows within the medical field, it gives viewers some ideas how to work in the hospital with all the surgeries and stuff, but the show also focuses more on politics, competitions and in terms of the story especially the love story part ahhhh... I always cringe. At first I find this drama very exciting, the drama started as good like a Bibimbap they presented different kinds of ingredients in the first few episodes such as action, thriller, drama, and romance. But in my experienced, as I continued to take my adventure in this show just like a bibimpap they all mixed up together and I get confused and I find it very disappointing like you want plot twists but because of too many plot twists I don't know what the characters are doing, like what??! I'm confused please enlighten me!!! I started to get bored watching at episode 6 and decided to put it on hold but I still give it a chance why not?! its Lee Jung Suk!! but after episode 8 and 9 sorry, but I will give it a no... >-<

If you are asking if I will recommend it? No and Maybe?. If I'm gonna watched it again? No.
