First of all, why did they choose to call the drama "Apple in Your Eye"? I find that ridiculous because the Chinese title translated to English is "Little Sister". I don't understand why they made the change, since the themes of the drama would still work well with "Little Sister".

I actually liked the plot. I haven't watch too much Taiwanese dramas because most of the plots have become too similar. They seem to enjoy the corny plots the most, as I keep seeing them. The main girl was kinda whiny throughout the whole drama, but I did enjoy it, despite its many corny moments.

I disliked the ending due to some spoilery plot reasons I cannot mention in this review. It affected my feelings toward the drama as a whole, but overall, this drama was one of the better Taiwanese ones.

I just finished watching this series and it was nicely done. I'd rate it an A. The storyline and cinematography was great. The acting was great. However, the leading lady's voice & acting was a little annoying cause she was trying to act like a naive child but you'll get passed it. The male lead totally captivating. He has such an edginess about him but he's not afraid to be vulnerable. You've probably read in some comments that the ending was ambiguous and disliked it but in my opinion it wasn't a terrible ending. It's open for your interpretation and I would encourage you to still watch it. Everyone has their own opinions and it's for you to decide. There's only 13 episodes that are a little over an hour long but it flew by so fast that it felt like only 30 minute segments. Like every drama series they go through relationship trials and tribulations and they certainly had to overcome obstacles but its such a short series that you didnt feel like there were non-sensical fillers included. The chemistry between these two male & female lead actors were undeniably present. Although they grew up as brother and sister there's no blood relation between them. Their relationship is sweet and endearing because of growing up together. How many of us can say that they have found that one person in life who's truly been there by their side through thick & thin and who has seen you at your darkest moment from the beginning.

Words can’t express my feelings right now, the series started off strong and it has so much depth in it that you could really get into the character. I must admit that the female lead was a bit naïve and at times her personality was supremely annoying but her genuineness grew on me. I absolutely love the storyline of childhood Friends growing up together and later discovering the hidden feelings that each of them have. I really love how the storyline developed. The leads had an amazing relationship and their chemistry as friends or siblings was absolutely hilarious and so real. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good series to watch. What I didn’t like about the series was the ending. Although I understand how the writers got up to that moment I personally feel like after all of those episodes and all that buildup they ended it depressingly. I deeply regret watching the final episode. I wish I could’ve just made up my own ending. It had one of those endings that left you wondering whether or not things eventually happened or did not. I will tell you that you will finish the series with as much regret as the cast had. I do not recommend this for any hopeless romantic because this will melt your heart but then leave you really angry at the end. Stay away hopeless romantic.
