In Thailand, the young Ton Chatree is sent to a boarding school by his father to study harder and have less entertainment with television. Once in school, Ton feels like an outcast and misses his family and friends. He becomes scared by the ghost stories his new schoolmates tell about a boy that died in the swimming pool and a young pregnant woman that committed suicide. He becomes a close friend of the also lonely boy Vichien, and later Ton realizes that Vichien is the boy that drowned in the swimming pool, and his death repeats every night. Ton tries to find a way to help his friend to rest in peace. (Source: IMDb) Edit Translation

I watch a lot of horror movies. This is not really scary.

It's a story about a young boy who enters a boys dorm. They sleep in a big room together, eat together and bath together. But there is a swimming pool on the school grounds that they will never fill.
That is where the ghost story comes in.

To be honest I recommended this to someone who cant watch scary movies at all and they really liked it.

The story is good, but just have a box of tissues with you, okay?

Wow! Simply wow!

While not really totally fit to be horror, maybe more suspense, drama, afterlife, it does have its jump scary moments.

Well written and acted, the story progresses rather amazingly from start to finish. The writing was well done: showing the emotions of the lead character as his life changes. This is well done by Nak (Charlie Trairat) who portrayed Ton.

Michael (Sirachuch Chienthaworn) and Prani (Chintara Sukapatana) both add wonderful support to the storyline with their superb performances.

The dark toned style of filmography and the exotic location of the school further adds to the overall authentic feel of a ghost movie which may be the correct description. No gore, blood, chopping of heads, no "horror" themes.

There is just the right amount of tension and suspense to keep you interested. There are no boring or low parts to this movie. Somewhat cliche ending, but at least it was good. Not drawn-out, over done or in no way rushed.

Well worth the watch!
