Most Beautiful Women Over 25

Sooo....we must admit that Korea has very BEAUTIFUL women right?!

The other day I was talking with a friend and touched on the subject of beauty in Korea. At first it was really strange for me when I realised how Koreans classify beauty in their country. It seems that the so-called beauty isn't as simple as we think... Let's say that it has some more departments:

"Sexy" Beauty

"Foxy" Beauty

"Cute" Beauty

"Innocent" Beauty

"Natural and Active" Beauty

"Aura of Rich Girl" Beauty

"Boyish" Beauty

"Princess-Like" Beauty

"Mother Feeling" Beauty

"Cheeky Little Sister/Dongsaeng" Beauty

"Bad Girl" Beauty

Well, I think that every one of you has heard of at least of three of these "departments" right? For your knowledge, those weren't invented by me... I'm just borrowing them for this article. :)

So after a long search, I've decided on an actress for each kind of beauty. Hope you'll enjoy it!! Let's start:

Kim Tae Hee - "Sexy" Beauty

I don't think there is anyone who doesn't know her.  She is one of the most talented actresses out there, not to mention how beautiful she is. She looks pretty good for 32 years right? I bet she can compete even with a girl 10 years younger!

Why I chose her to represent this section: Well not only has she played a kick-ass role in IRIS, but she also succeeded in playing a "country-pumpkin" turned "super lady" with charms and sensuality in My Princess. Who else if not her? 

Shin Min Ah - "Foxy" Beauty

I don't know why but every time I'm watching something with her I just can't help but be attracted... It happens just like magic. She is one of my favorite actresses. Not only for her looks but especially her acting skills. She makes everything to seem natural. I was really surprised when I saw she was 28 years old.  She seems really young to me.

Why her: Let's think a little... Does My Girlfriend is a Gumiho ring a bell? This is where I discovered her foxy nature and how addictive she is, not to mention her new drama where she is practically... a GHOST (Arang and the Magistrate).The only thing I'm sure of is just how mischievous in a good way she can be. 

Song Hye Kyo - "Cute" Beauty

She was the first  cute type that I've seen...more exactly in the drama Full House. I think that everyone heard of this one right? She is already 30 but I just find her so cute and childish.

Why her: Well I know I mentioned her role in Full House up there so now I'm going to point out her role in The World That They Live In. I really loved that drama!! Even if she was more like an independent and serious woman there were times when her aegyo appeared when she was in front of her loved one.

Han Ga In - "Innocent" Beauty

I sincerely think she has the most innocent-like face of all the actresses I know, and that she isn't suited for bitchy roles as in Witch Yoo Hee. But truth is that only a smile from her and half of Korea's male population will at her feet. You know what they say... 30 is the age of rebirth.

Why her: Is there anyone who can say they dislike her? I'm not talking about loving her to death but I just can't think that there is someone who can say that he dislikes or hates her. She's too "pure" for that. I just loved her in Bad Guy and I'm really thinking of watching The Moon that Embraces the Sun, how about you? Have you seen what hot co-stars she gets?!... This woman rocks!

Song Ji Hyo - "Natural and Active" Beauty

Or in other words "healthy" beauty. In my opinion she is one of the most fit actresses out there... not forgetting she is 31. I just love her! I love how natural she is and her sincere smile.

Why her: My first time seeing her was in Goong where she played the antagonist but I just couldn't make myself hate her. I think that she is a very versatile actress, playing bad roles to smart ones (Crime Squad) and not forgetting her new movie, Codename: Jackal, which I'm really looking forward to seeing.

Lee Min Jung - "Aura of Rich Girl" Beauty

I love this actress<3 especially her outgoing personality. She isn't the usual stubborn rich girl who cares only for her looks. She is something like a "monkey"...yeah yeah I got that one from BOF but who can blame me? I fell in love with her from the moment that she appeared in episode 15, if I remember right.
Why her: Let's be sincere. Who doesn't love a stuck up girl with an easygoing thinking on life? Or do you prefer a really cheeky brat (Smile, You) that learns it the hard way? O wait a minute she can also be a free spirited woman (Cyrano Dating Agency). One thing is sure... jewelry suits her!!! At the age of 29, she is the real definition of glamour.

Ha Ji Won - "Boyish" Beauty

Don't get me wrong, but isn't she one of the most popular actresses these days? How others would say it:  "she's riding the wave of popularity" and in style as well. I really love Ha Ji Won. At first I just couldn't believe that she is already 34 because she has really beautiful skin and looks way younger than she is. She really seems to me like the independent woman... not an easy image to obtain I must say.

Why her: I first saw her in the super-duper popular drama Secret Garden, you may have heard of it, and I just loved her style. For me she even out-did Hyun Bin, which between you and me is not a simple thing to do, and I just love the feeling that she could take care for herself pretty well. After that I've started watching for other things that she was in and discovered her movies. Loved them, especially Haeundae and Sector 7. From my point of view she is one of the most talented actress I've seen.

Han Ye Seul - "Princess-Like" Beauty

She sure looks like a player...and a beautiful one indeed. I just think that her image screams "You're not good enough for me...but you can try to be if you want." Do I make any sense? She just seems like she is untouchable or something, making you think you've got her heart, but after that she leaves you cold with a smile and an excuse. I still love her!! It isn't her fault after all 'cause she's beautiful right?

Why her: Simple, she is 30 and plays well a goofy spy (Myung Wol the Spy). She is the image of the typical noona that every boy wants near them. Beauty + Money + Independence = LOVE.  Listen to me on that. She is just astonishing and glittery, I might say.

Son Ye Jin - "Mother Feeling" Beauty

I don't know... she just expresses warmth. She seems really kind and I can just see her with 1 or 2 kids running around her and calling her "Mom" even if she is only 30, don't you?  I just love her whole image which is so pleasant to the eye. She has a mature image.

Why her: I was impressed with her when I saw Personal Taste, and only later I discovered that her co-star was 5 years younger than her. I couldn't tell at all from the drama. I've also seen some of her movies such as A Moment to Remember, which is one of my favorites, The Art of Seduction and Chilling Romance. From them I discovered how genius she was as an actress. Each role from above was so different in so many aspects that it was somehow strange. Trust me, guys, if you want to see a great drama/movie try one with her in it... maybe the upcoming one (Accomplice). I'm sure I will!  

 Yoon Eun Hye - "Cheeky Little Sister/Dongsaeng" Beauty

Seriously now...who doesn't know her?! Yes people she is already 28. Can't believe it? Well, neither did I. But, oh boy, how much I love her. I think she seems really spoiled and how can I say it... maybe ahjussi type, but she is such a beauty with a really small face.

Why her: My first time seeing her was in Coffee Prince and I was caught by her spell. This girl rocks. She pulled off the image of a boy like no other actress I know. Then Goong appeared on my screen and on my top dramas on this amazing site. Here she was, again, playing a somehow ill-mannered poor girl turned Crown Princess....sounds familiar right? But do you know what I love about her? Her scream.  People, she is one of the best "screamers" in the world when she gets mad. Only one thing to add: she is the actress that co-stars with names like Joo Ji Hoon, Gong Yoo, Yoon Sang Hyun, Kang Ji Hwan and last but not least Park Yoochun. I think that this makes her an A-list actress, yes? Oh right, she also gets the most awesome kisses out there.

Wang Ji Hye - "Bad Girl" Beauty

Who doesn't like a bad girl once in a while right? Ok, so I'm not talking about killers or crazy fangirls. I'm talking about someone that you just can't seem to hate even if you want to. Do any of you remember Protect The Boss? This is were I sat stunned because of her. I was always thinking something like "Wait a minute... she's really going to give up on him, no crying or lying to break them apart? She also gets her own man? What's happening here!?!" Her role was really unique, not to mention that she befriended the female lead. That doesn't happen very often, right?

Why her: Because of the things from above. She really impressed me. She has the perfect amount of sexiness and childish nature to melt any guy's heart away. She also looks good crying.
