It has been a long time since I last wrote any news so I thought about writing a compilation. Let’s start with a piece of news that broke my heart into pieces:
City Conquest stops shooting!
It has been announced that City Conquest will stop shooting since the main three channels (SBS, MBC and KBC) refused to air it.
As for why it was rejected, KBS commented that the drama doesn’t suit their channel, while SBS and MBC complained about the high budget.
As a result, the most anticipated Kim Hyung Joong drama has stopped shooting until a channel accepts to produce it. So please someone accept it! Come on, it’s Kim Hyung Joong so the high budget will be turned into high ratings!
The King of Dramas gets a two-episode extension
The latest Choi Si Won drama The King of Dramas managed to attract many peoples' attention even though it wasn't very popular when it first started airing. As a result, SBS decided to add two more episodes.
Kim Nam Gil is back from the army to play the role of an army officer
Yes, he’s back! After being discharged from the army, Kim Nam Gil will return to Dramaland with Sword and Flower which talks about a high ranked army officer who lives with his enemy (a female spy) in order to collect information but ends up falling in love with her.
The drama is scheduled to air on KBS2 following IRIS 2.
Level 7 Civil Servant latest news
It has been revealed that Uhm Tae Woong will portray a guest role (of a genius spy as Joo Won’s enemy) in the upcoming drama Level 7 Civil Servant.
This spy, romantic-comedy is a remake of the 2009 movie My Girlfriend is an Agent. After his mesmerizing role in The Bridal Mask, this has been the most anticipated drama of Joo Won, whereas viewers expressed their “worries” about Choi Kang Hee as the lead female.
The drama will start airing this January if you haven’t added it yet then do it now!
A Werewolf Boy gets another ending
After the huge success of A Werewolf Boy (starring Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Young), producers decided to release a two-minute alternative ending to the movie. This annoyed some viewers who commented, “That means I have to buy a new ticket for only two minutes?!”
