It’s not always about romance and best couples. There’s also the famed brotherly love. This month’s pick will center on our favourite bromances in Dramaland.

School 2013
If you want to watch a really good bromance drama, I definitely recommend School 2013. Go Nam Soon and Park Heung Soo’s story is so touching that you can’t help but love them both. After an unfortunate incident, their friendship is ruined and they go their separate ways. They meet again when Park Heung Soo transfers to Go Nam Soon’s class. Their reunion is really painful to watch because these two people who were best friends not so long ago now seem so distant and cold. One of them struggles with his overwhelming feeling of guilt while trying to do everything he can to keep his best friend out of trouble even when that means putting himself in danger. The other is conflicted by his mixed feelings of love and hatred towards his best friend who shattered his dream of becoming a professional football player. No matter how difficult the new beginning of their bromance is, they eventually make it work. After all the heart-wrecking moments and the tears shed, their friendship is finally reborn. Although they find it hard to bury the hatchet and let go of the past, their attachment proves strong enough - they overcome all the pain and difficulties and open up a new chapter of their lives. Another great thing about School 2013 apart from the bromance is the impressive chemistry between Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin. I have no idea if they are such good friends in real life as they are in the drama but they sure know how to make you believe that this companionship is genuine. They pull it off extremely well. The scenes where they are fooling around or simply spending time together are way too adorable. I am sure I wouldn’t have liked the drama as much as I do if their acting hadn’t been top-notch. I hope you have fun watching School 2013.

Gokusen 2
When I think about friendship, but especially broromance, in dramas, the first one that comes to mind is the Gokusen series. If you are an avid drama watcher (like me), and enjoy Japanese dramas, then there is a high chance you have heard of Gokusen before. Now, every season is fantastic but I decided to pick the second one.
Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin have such great chemistry together, that I almost wished they would end up as a couple. At first, the situation between them is kind of tense but after the conflicts are solved and misunderstandings dealt with an unbreakable bond is made. Is not only about jokes and fun with them but they make you value your friends and want to treasure all your moments with them to the fullest.
Even if I saw this drama ages ago, these two characters are still stuck in my head. You will find yourself craving a friendship as fulfilling as theirs.

Bad Guys
When I hear the term bromance, I jump right and left numerating dramas like Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Cruel City, A Gentleman's Dignity and many others. So why choose Bad Guys in particular? It’s simple, this was the last drama I finished watching and it kind of stuck with me.
Bad Guys is about criminals set out to catch even worse opponents. The concept in itself is pretty unique as it’s a challenge to get those differently corrupted individuals to work together as a group. That’s where the bromance steps in. It’s not the kind where everyone start singing and holding candles to each other. It’s twisted beyond understanding. It might take you a long time to realise how much they care about each other’s well-being. The four of them have this entwined dynamic to protect each other even when betrayals strike hard in their shaky world.
Bad Guys might not be my all-times favorite bromance but it’s definitely one of those special cases that keep you thirsty for more.
Those would be our picks for bromance. Let us know which are your favorites.
