So here I am again, throwing aside my conscience and principles and presenting some terrible people who stamped on my memory. And when I say terrible, I mean the worst meaning - people who are clever and ambitious enough to disregard their humanity. In fiction, these people can amaze us. That's why I'm here today.
Jo Dong Hyeok / Bad Guys
In the epic drama we ended up with one real killer, Jung Tae Soo. Jung Tae Soo is a contract killer with superb skills. He kills for money without leaving traces. One day he falls for the widow of someone he has killed and the long-buried humanity surfaces.
Did you see how swift, how skilled and how arresting he was while killing?? I mean, they shouldn't do that. I will never understand contract killers. No matter what your situation is, you don't go kill people for money. I might understand - though it's almost impossible - killing people for reasons - revenge, for example - but money! No! So how could they let Jo Dong Hyeok play that killer! I'm so glad he repented eventually, because otherwise I'd be someone who fell helplessly for a contract killer. Too bad!

Cha Seung Won / Blades of Blood
Does the photo give any clues?
This is Cha Seung Won's second utterly evil role after Athena. But here, his character was more intriguing. He played Lee Mong Hwak, a talented politician with a crazy ambition, who's willing to get rid of anyone standing in his way, unhesitatingly. Lee Mong Hwak had a 'vision'. He wanted to change the world. And for that change, he killed people. Many of them. Cruelly. With his own hands. Without blinking.

You know that terror you feel after a real horror film! When you start imagining things in the darkness and hearing sounds! That's the effect Cha Seung Won brought on me after this film.
Kim Sang Joong / City Hunter
Who fell for Kim Sang Joong in this drama? Aye! Why? He gave me the creeps.
Do I sound like a mental??
A man sacrificed his life for his country. His country betrayed him. He lost his comrades. He lived for revenge. Great! Man, I support your cause. Kill them all.
But
To use a boy you raised after snatching him from his mother for that revenge! To make him live his life in a lie! And for your cause - which ends up not as pure as it sounds - to kill any and everyone who might hinder your plans! That's not it.
As Steve Lee, Kim Sang Joong was cruel, emotionless and ruthless. He was a liar and a deceiver. He threw away his humanity for what ended up as a measly cause. And he was so good at it. He freaked me out by how awesome he was as the bad guy.
Jung Woo Sung / Cold Eyes
He did it again. Once again he was a killer. But no! Not like any killer role he played before.

I thought I wouldn't be surprised anymore after all the great performances I saw by this ever-charming man. You know when you get too full of awesomeness. Or you think so!
Jung Woo Sung played James. James was trained to be a killer. But he grows away from his ''teacher'' and sets his own clan. If unhappy with someone, or someone - whoever that person is - tries - not saying does! Mind! - derailing his plans, he butchers them. I mean it. And when he does, he does it so quickly and so adroitly that you can't help but gape at the screen, head bent on one side!
T.O.P / Commitment
Regardless of the reason why he became a killer, Kang Dae Ho was a killer. And whether I sympathised with him or not and whether I'd do the same if I were in his shoes or not, he was a killer. He killed anyone if ordered and he was way too merciless at that. He'd repent and cry and feel guilty but he'd kill again. When he killed, you'd see the murderous look in his eyes. And it was scary.
