First of all, WATCH IT. Secondly, WATCH IT. Thirdly, WATCH IT.
Personally, as a Kdrama lover, I watch mostly everything that is currently airing right now and I'm still amused on how I get to balance them with my studies. Speaking of current dramas, there's this one drama that I'm recommending you all to watch [even though I've been recommending a lot already HAHA]. The show is called Defendant or also known as 피고인 (romanized Pi-go-in). Starring the one and only Ji Sung alongside with SNSD's Kwon Yu Ri, Uhm Ki Joon and a lot more.
This story is about a Prosecutor, Park Jeong Woo (Ji Sung's character), proving his innocence for murdering his wife on the night of his daughter's birthday. But since the world is cruel, things weren't easy for Jeong Woo and he had to go through a lot, like this:
The above picture shows how Park Jeong Woo looks like as a Prosecutor but after that night, he turned to into this:
Tell me this shocked you as much as it shocked all of us who were watching this. At first, it might be really confusing but as you go on, you'll soon realize what's happening.
Warning: You'll be definitely hooked in the first episode already so get ready with your eyes if you're going to pull off a no sleep tonight just to catch up with this drama.
You might end up looking like this:
Eyebags? More like eye-luggage already.
Besides the amazing plot this drama has, we also have an amazing cast - especially the guys inside the prison cell with Jeong Woo. It's these guys plus Seong Gyu (Kim Min Suk's character):
Their characters honestly pick my interest and in the later episodes, you'll love them a lot. You'll want to say "I hope this drama never ends" or maybe "I hope they get cast again together in another show someday", etc.
If you're going to ask me, I'll rate this 1000/10 because of the acting. Otherwise? 10/10. This is legit a heart-stopping drama to watch. Oh, this drama was originally 16 episodes but then two more episodes were added because of the overflowing love and support that the fans give. Now, they have 18 episodes all in all.
